This was actually our 4th visit to this particular ropes course and it is just as good or better each time we go. A portion of the course has recently been upgraded with a climbing wall being added in order to get up into the trees. We have been to ropes courses in Germany and South Dakota and Tree Umph ranks up there with the best of them. A well laid out facility, professional/helpful staff, and a very good video and hands on training to get people ready for the 5 different courses. Courses are scaled growing increasingly harder. There are height limitations for the first 3 courses (Junior - but still challenging) with an increased height required for the last 2 more complex courses. There is also a "huge" zip line that everyone can take once they complete their respective courses. It moves quick (quite a bit of screaming going on - in a good way) There is also a "juniors" course for the smaller ones who do not meet the height requirements of the regular course. Safety staff are located throughout the facility and are ready to answer questions and/or calls for assistance. You can make reservations or walk up. No walk ups pass 11am. We made reservations and it was smooth. Our course time was scheduled for 0830, so we were told to be there 30 minutes early in order to sign the waivers (these can be printed from online and completed prior to arrival), suited up in our climbing harnesses, and of course getting our safety instruction (via a nice video) culminating in a test run through a miniature course to ensure we remembered what to do from the safety video. Everything was really handled well. You can also purchase fingerless gloves to help prevent rope burns ($3 a pair) as well as buying a water pass ($3 per person) for access to bottled water throughout the day. Coolers are located throughout the course and the heat can really sap it out of you. This was a great purchase for us. Tree Umph also provides a 20% discount to military and veterans. Be sure and mention that when you are making reservations. Tree Umph will go ahead and accept payment as well at that time. Everything appeared to be maintained well throughout the course. Oh, and you will want to bring sunscreen and bug spray. A really fun adventure for those looking for something different outdoors. read more

We decided to go here for my birthday and i am so glad we did. The staff was very friendly and they even sang me happy bithday while I was swinging through the air. The first three courses are not that challenging,once you get to 4th and 5th its a whole other story. Definitely fun for people who are competitive, my husband actually finished the course. I did have to be rescued because my arms were done halfway though the 5th course, But the guide was right there with me and lowered me down... This was a location chosen by a few friends for an "All Women's Get together." I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was excited that something like this was available for us to do. When you make your reservation, they will offer you a ticket for water & for gloves. TAKE these options. It's totally worth it. Or better yet, get yourself a different pair of gloves, ones that have a bit of padding on the palm, near the fingers, you will find that you will need them. But the water.. TAKE that ticket! It's worth it for the $3 up-charge. I can't say enough good about the staff. While the check in girls were a bit brusque, the staff out on the course were really amazing! They were totally accommodating, offering tips on how to conquer certain aspects of the course, how to step on certain pieces to avoid -disaster-! There's no fear of actually hurting yourself, you're safe at all times if you follow the safety course, if you obey the rules that they set before you and if you remember to hook your safety lines in the way you've been taught. With those things in mind, a little balance and a lot of chutzpah, you will have a blast! My two favorite parts of the course (I did four of the five course pieces) were the net challenge, where you swing like Tarzan into a large cargo net and then have to scramble upwards to the platform. You have to haul yourself up, and for me, I don't think I could have done this months ago. but no! Heck yes! And the triumph zip. 2 football fields long from WAY up high.. What a rush! The only suggestion I have for them is to put a slide on that last tower.. It's a playground for grownups! A fun place to play around, but I am exhausted! That was a workout! I've been ziplining before, but this was way more fun. I am proud to say I completed courses one through four. When I came to the four/five split, I took a moment, looked ahead at others, and decided finishing course four would be rewarding enough. After nearly four hours (minus the one hour lightning hold), course four was complete, and I was happy and tired. Starting off fairly easy, but getting progressively harder as you go, this place has something for everyone. The gloves they have are not that good, I would recommend bringing your own. My hands look like chewed bubblegum. There were parts on the different courses that were easy, hard, scary, and fun. The staff were great! The equipment and obsticles are in great condition. Level of difficulty if you are not physically inclined there might be a challenge but if you push through it is so rewarding! The equipment is all do it yourself in a sense on most of the post the guides aren't up there with you, they are below guiding you if you need help. Even though I didn't participate because I am not a fan of heights, but my youngest son is my daredevil! We made reservations prior to coming and we actually purchased 3. When I arrived I saw that it was more than just zip lining, it has obstacle courses, which is what made my heart start to race (not in a good way for this chick). This is a NO REFUND situation, but the staff was so understanding that the refunded mine and my husbands, so we could just watch our youngest fly through the air. I can't speak enough about the friendliness of the entire staff. EVERY SINGLE ONE was smiling and willing to help in any way. This place is clean, safe, and will go overboard to make your time wonderful! We will bring our boys back again and tell everyone about our great experience! read more

Went here with two of my friends this past weekend and we had a blast! All of us aren't that fit, but the course was manageable and challenging. Definitely worth every penny and we will be highly recommending it to all of our friends. All of the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly, ready to answer all questions and respond quickly for your safety and enjoyment. They do not play around with that and will remove you from a course if they feel you are endangering yourself or others. Outside of that, the course is very well put together, safe, and you can always see a guide no matter where you are. I felt safe throughout the whole experience other than challenging my own internal fears. As for the courses, there are 5 for adults of which the last (Summit) branches off from the fourth and is 60 feet above the ground! One of my friends and I attempted it and won, but it was incredibly exhausting and nerve wracking - we won't lie! All we have to say is to listen to the intro video and trust in your gear! If you can do that, you can make it through course 5. Or you should at least try; it never hurts to challenge yourself and see if you rise to the occasion. Took us about 4 hours to get through the whole course and the final zipline. read more

I had the most amazing 5 hour day for only $56. The experience was priceless. The place is well organized with guides, lessons, signs etc. The courses progressively get more challenging. I saw ages 8-50s doing them all. It is rain or shine and it rained on us and it just made the obstacles more exciting and challenging. Zip lining is a highlight but about 25% of the courses. Most is navigating obstacles such as swings, shaky bridges, swinging on ropes, climbing up nets etc all while in the air and harnessed in for safety. It was amazing!!! Great for groups, team building etc. I recommend buying the $3 water band for access to bottled water at all the courses. Overall, I felt very safe. If you have a child who is impulsive and not detailed oriented I'd be hesitant to let them up there alone because it is everyone's invidious like job to secure your own safety. read more

This place is fine for little kids, but for kids that have no experience that are 10+ this is not a good place at all! Majority of the staff is very rude and none compliant to the people paying a lot of money, when I was here with my granddaughter the man who showed all the kids how to do it, only showed them once! And when the kids would ask questions he would say "I already showed you once, you need to learn"! My granddaughter was struggling because she had never done such a thing. She had to give up because of how she couldn't get help and there were way to many PEOPLE. They lack in service and also to finish the 11 year old course it is 3-4 hours and above is 5-6 hours and they said most people don't finish it and will need to come down so I do not recommend this place. read more

So much fun! We went for my boyfriend's birthday at the end of January, and it turned out to be a great decision. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Take the "Difficult" course toward the end. It's challenging but incredibly fun, and you'll feel so accomplished afterward! See photos. One downfall - we were there on a Saturday, and it was crowded, so we found ourselves having to stand around on the platforms to wait for big crowds of kids in front of us. Bait and Switch, with no offer to compensate. I took my kids last weekend February 2020, and was told at the end of course 3, that the big zip-line is under repair and we couldn't do it. The kids were VERY DISAPPOINTED, since that's what they were really looking forward to. This place is expensive ($200++ for four people), and when I said to the guide that this was a huge part of the experience, he just shrugged his shoulders and said "sorry". There was nothing mentioned on the website during booking that their largest attraction is not available, no mention of it while waiting the 45 minutes "to train", no discount offered...just a lousy surprise at the end for everyone. read more

TreeUmph! has been on my list of things to do for more than 5 years. First I needed to get a couple of hip replacements and then I needed to make time for it (take a morning off). I went alone at 9am on a Friday morning. I couldn't have had a better experience if I tried. I managed to finish all five courses and got to ring the bell at the end of #5 (The Summit). I had great guides all the way but I would say my most trusted guide was Liam for #5. He was amazing! I met a climber (maybe late-60-something like me) who had an annual pass and he told me he does this effort 3 to 4 times weekly. I can see it would be a perfect alternative to a gym membership. The challenges on the TreeUmph course are designed to be fun and envigorating. It's so adaptable for all different levels of skill, confidence and athleticism. The highest level is a real achievement, but it's not necessary to complete level 5 to have a great experience. I took my 10 year-old grandson on an "adventure". We both had a fantastic time. The course challenges you physically as well as mentally. You need to do some "problem-solving" when considering how to continue. There are two levels of courses. As a 72 year-old I stayed on the junior course with my grandson and found it fun and challenging. This is not an activity for some one who is not in good physical shape. The staff was excellent. They were all along the course giving encouragement and ideas on how to manage an obstacle. They were friendly and helpful with making the reservation, checking in and doing the training. While this is a thrill adventure, I felt safe. They have an excellent safety system that does not allow you to ever be untethered while off the ground. Be prepared to have an exciting time and to be tired at the end of the day. read more

We really did not know what we were getting into when we signed up for a tree adventure course. I mean how hard can it be climbing on trees and walking on ropes?  Well at least that is what I envisioned it would look like but it was more than I bargained for. The first thing we learned is that we had to do this entire course on our own. We had to lock in the cable cords and do the ziplining by ourselves. Sure we had a practice course where a guide taught us what to do and how everything attached to us worked and that did put many of us at ease and after the practice run we thought how hard can it really be?Personally the first and second course were a breeze, well at least for me it was. We saw some call out "guide" right from the start so that a guide could come and rescue them because they didn't feel comfortable on the course anymore. The ugly truth is that it is easy to judge and consider yourself braver than those who had quit when they had just started but until you actually try something new yourself you don't really know how you'll feel about it. I quickly learned that bravery is the ability to try something completely foreign to you and it is okay to stop or call quits when you no longer feel safe or comfortable. While on the second course, I started feeling unstoppable. I told my husband and son that I would complete all five of the courses. I was sure that I would be one of the few who completes all five of the course. Boy was I wrong. You know that verse "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall?"(Proverbs 16:19) Well, by the end of my tree adventure experience I was able to understand it better.Once I got to the third course there was two ways of getting to the top of the course. The first way was the way I was used to and one I was very comfortable with, climbing the ladder. The second way was rock climb on a tall wooden poll. I chose the first option but as soon as I put one foot on the ladder a sweet lady who probably wished me well told me that I should try the second options and that if she could do it than I could do it. So I decided to listen to the advice of this seemingly sweet woman. Oh, how I wish I hadn't listened to her! I was half way on the wooden poll and then I started to panic. There were less artificial rock boulders and the spaces between them were greater. I wrapped my hands as much as I could around the poll. I was holding onto dear life. I finally pulled myself up to the platform so that I could actually start the third course. I was so upset at myself for listening to that woman and I vowed that I would never take anyone else's advice. Now the third course was much higher than the first two courses and I felt the difference right away. Did I mention I'm afraid of heights? I was faced with a dozen or so hanging vertical logs. I had to put one foot on one of the logs and then place the next on the second. My footing was not stable so I was swaying back and forth. I started to panic. My sweet husband tried to reassure me that I could do it but that was the last thing I wanted to hear so I snapped back at him, telling him not to speak to me. It is interesting how a person reacts when they are afraid. Good thing my husband just laughs it off because he thinks it is cute when I'm scared. Far from cute, I tell you!I'm happy to say that I completed the third course without screaming "guide" even though there were many moments on the third course where I was so temped to get recused. There is no shame in calling "guide." Peter was my hero that day. He completed all of the five courses. My husband and I watched from the distance cheering him on. We also watched how those in front of him and behind him were giving him sound advice and telling him that he could do it. In the end we had such a memorable experience. One that we will never forget. read more

This is a fun way to spend half a day on the weekend! My sister and I went and we had a great time. Some obstacles are pretty challenging, but most are pretty easy to go through. Bring bug spray because there are quite a few mosquitos near early morning. The staff are nice but it was hard to find someone when we had questions- they seemed a bit understaffed. Will definitely return but will probably bring snacks for next time as it took us 4 hours ! read more

What an incredible surprise to know we have ziplining this cool in Florida! I've only gone ziplining once and it was in St. Marteen. In my mind, there was no way TreeUmph! could beat St. Marteen. Not only was it more of an obstacle, it gave me one of the best workouts. When I finished the course, three hours had passed by. Well worth the money for the adventure. The staff was helpful and took all the safety precautions, making sure everyone was following the rules and most of all having a blast while doing it. There were a couple people in our group who had to bail out, and their staff immediately stepped in to the rescue. Even the one time I half-heartedly asked for help, a staff member was nearby to hear my faint whisper. Ha! Already excited to gather the next group to go again soon. read more

Went here while I was on vacation, I had been on many zip line rope courses in my life and this, by far, was my favorite... It was a perfect balance of height, challenge, strength, and balance obstacles. At the start, there were people in front of us backing up the lines and making it less enjoyable but even then, you can hang off the end of the platform and take a drink of water while you wait. The ladders were my least favorite part of the entire course, not because they were hard, but because they were just annoying, having to clip and un-clip to move up. Once you gain a rythym though, it isn't 1/2 bad. We went at 9:30, made reservations ahead of time, but I STRONGLY recommend the early bird option, if available... after about 2 courses, the sun is baking you. I also recommend bringing your own gloves, we brought our own mechanics gloves (they sell you gloves for $3 so it isn't a huge deal).. GET THE WATER PASS!!!! Get it! 150% get it!!! The staff isn't going to, if your dying, tell you no on water but get the water pass!! The course, at least the first 2, are really family friendly (make sure your children don't have an extreme fear of heights). The third course requires more upper body strength, but it isn't IMPOSSIBLE for a child (age 8-12) to accomplish. The first 3 courses were awesome! A great mixture of zip lines and obstacles! The fourth course.... the fourth course however, is where it starts to get tricky. I'm a decently built teenager, with loads of energy, and I went with my uncle and his girlfriend (who are in their 30's) and it slowly started to take a toll on us... if you struggle with the fourth course, I do not recommend the 5th course (the Summit).... The summit starts off with this ladder type.thing that wobbles like crazy and sucks, simply put. This is just getting you used to what the rest of the course has to offer. The obstacles are hard, ridiculously hard, and if you're afraid of heights, don't even attempt. Agility. Strength, and balance are all tested to the extreme! It's a blast to do, but it IS a struggle, and I'm not talking a small challenge... two people were asked to be pulled down, myself and my uncles girlfriend almost threw up, it's tough, but an experience that you will NEVER forget. They don't allow younger children to.tackle the Summit, but if you're an adult, I honestly recommended it to anybody who wants a challenge. The staff is the nicest staff in the world! Honestly, they're the best! On the Summit, or any course, if you're struggling, they'll help you out! They have water for you and will stay right next to you to help.you out until you get back to the ground! We finished the day off with the Triumph Zip Line (if you're going to end the day, end it with this).. its only 3 ladders high, but after conquering the Summit, it was a struggle... the zipline itself is pretty sweet, and was a great ending to a great day! Treeumph is a great work out! You'll leave with blood pumping and an insane adrenaline rush! Get home, and take a nap :)! I had an amazing day at this adventure park. There are 5 different challenge courses. The 5th one was the hardest and required upper body strength to climb up the stump ladder. The training course covered what we needed to learn in order to stay safe and they take safety very seriously here so need to worry if you follow their directions. I had a great day with friends and we enjoyed the course even though some of them were very challenging. The zip lining and the Tarzan rope were my favorites. I would definitely go back again and show some friends. For the price of $56, this was very reasonable for a whole day activity. The only complaint I would have is that the lines were extremely long at some points. Maybe if the people were spaced out when they came in. Overall the day was a fun, challenging and exciting. We had an amazing time in Treeumph Adventure Course. I have to say - it worths the money!! Before me and my husband went there, we were concerned whether the course would be either too easy or too short for us since the tickets are not cheap. But the reality is...we spent the whole 4 hours there finishing all courses (I did 4 and he did all 5 of them) and the obstacles are so diverse and FUN !! We were also so tired in the end... Really highly recommend to check Treeumph out especially if you have a group of friends to go with. You guys can cheer each other up when going through tough obstacles. Another thing I want to mention is Treeumph staff are so nice and helpful! You can always call for help or rescure if needed! Overall, they are awesome and I can feel they put their heart in building and maintaining this adventure course! read more

Calling all adventurous adults! This was an incredible time! Not only is the location beautiful, but the activity is both leisurely and athletic. It allows you to unplug, unwind, work out, and hang out with your friends. First, the super positives: The site itself is gorgeous. There are 5 courses, each more difficult than the last, and they are built right into the tree line. You are surrounded by shade and nature and it is just marvelous. They take safety super serious but in a delightfully playful way. You are harnessed in by the staff and then watch a safety video full of tips and info, and then go through the practice course with a guide so that you can demonstrate how to properly execute ladder etiquette, caribiner operation, bridge etiquette, and zip line procedure. It definitely makes you feel like you know what you are doing. The courses are great fun. We did complete all five, went early on a Monday, and finished in about 4 hours. It is a significant workout not only for your arms, but also your core and your mental toughness. The fifth course is not only the most difficult, but the highest up-it goes above most of the trees. Second, some tips to make it an awesome day: Buy the 3 dollar more gloves and unlimited water package. On the courses and in between there are water bottle trunks to rehydrate (you will need it). The gloves are a lifesaver. You will be using your arms and upper body a lot during the courses. These fingerless gloves keep your hands from getting shredded on the wires. Your fingers will get a little achey from clipping and unclipping the caribiners and gripping so tightly to ropes or wires. Trust your gear. The harness is secured around your waist and legs. During the initial practice course, let yourself hang so that you can see it will hold you if you are just sitting into it. This is especially important if you decide to tackle the fifth and most advanced course. Work smarter, not harder. Really check in with your body. It is very easy to wear out your arms quickly if you are using them alone to help yourself along. The guides are positioned throughout the course to offer tips and suggestions-listen to them. They can save you a lot of wasted energy and effort. Go early!! This is not a cheap activity (60 dollars plus gloves, water, and tax) and we went on a Monday and got started at about 9:30am. We were almost entirely alone when we started, but by the time we were on the fifth course at about noon, the canopy of trees was buzzing with other groups. I'm not saying you won't have fun, but it gets to be like Putt Putt in the trees-you have to wait for slower players to either allow you to pass or finish that section of the course before you can go. If one of your party has a zippered jacket, cargo pant, or a pouch that fits a phone, bring it. There are fun photo opportunities up there. The harness is around your waist, so the cell in the pocket of your pants won't be reachable, but anything around your neck, but tucked into your shirt, or alongside your pants, will be reachable. Dress for fitness. You will be swinging, jumping, leaning, crouching, climbing. I wore running shoes, running pants, and a tank with a jacket. It was perfect. You want to have free range of movement but also not worry about getting a little banged up. My knees were a little black and blue, but I am also a peach when it comes to that. Ladies with long hair, a pony tail is sufficient. I would not recommend a sloppy high bun (ala Amy Winehouse) as it will probably get ripped out on zip lines or get tangled on some of the obstacles. Things that were specific to our adventure that are worth noting: I will say that the staff coverage on our particular visit was a bit lackluster. We saw a few guides on the ground as we traversed courses 1 and 2, but as we headed into 3 and 4 there were several sections where no one was about. We had one in our party who had been before, and she helped us on parts of the course that were confusing, but it did start to make me feel a little nervous. Because of the difficulty of course 5, there was a guide up there who proved to be invaluable as we progressed. At the end of our adventure, the staff at the front were very friendly, but they didn't have that little extra. I had been told about a suggestion box/comment card by a few of the other guides, but it was neither visible or offered as we checked out. There is a discount rate for returning people, but we were not offered this until I inquired about a sign. While I appreciate the "we aren't trying to sell you on anything" vibe, our group was certainly jazzed about the experience and would happily spread the news to others, but I think the kind of petering out of our experience at the end was a missed opportunity. Still, I would highly recommend this adventure to anyone and will definitely return! read more

Brought my wife and daughter here for my birthday and it was a seriously good decision. We liked it so much we bought a return pass when we were done. Couple of recommendations. 1. Do the early course reservations. It won't be as hot and you won't have to wait as long to move forward. 2. Buy the water pass. It's worth it. 3. Might want to bring some gloves that will protect your finger tips. If not, they have fingertipless gloves that work fine and are inexpensive. Buy them. 4. Try obstacle 5 The guides were great. Great place!! Fun course for kids and adults. I would recommend buying the gloves, it really helps. Water bag is unnecessary since they have a cooler full of water after each course. Also you could probably get by with just getting one or two water tickets and sharing with your group, they're not strict at all. The phone holder is cool but you could easily keep it in your pocket. Let me first start out by saying the staff was amazing! They are all very kind and cheerful. However, we were under the impression that there was more than one zipline. We waited an hour after are allotted time just to get on one zipline. The zipline was also nearly impossible to complete, all 3 of us got stuck and had to get help to complete the zipline. read more

Today was a perfect day to go to this tree adventure obstacle course. Went with my husband, preteen daughter and teenage son. Some athletic ability required. Me and my daughter handles the first four courses very well. My husband and son thought 5 was a challenge but made it. The staff was very helpful throughout the course. Beautiful day to go. Temperature was 70°. Only neg: wait for the last big Triumph zip line was 10 people deep. So we skipped it. read more

Literally one of my favorite experiences ever. I MUST come back to do this again and again and again! The wimp in me was nervous a few days before this. What if the cable snaps? What if I forget to clip myself on? These worries melted away with the training. First, some muscly guys put your harnesses on. Then, you watched a video that showed the safety procedures, then did a little fun safety course. It was only five feet off the ground. I think I did pretty well, except flying towards my friend on the mini zipline without waiting for the all clear. The first two courses are fun and easy! We joked around, shook the bridges, sang "I'm a survivor, I ain't gonna give up" after we completed an obstacle. The third and fourth ones kicked our little butts. We started singing "I'm a survivor, I might give up", but then we just stopped all together. Honestly, the height wasn't a problem here. You barely even notice it. But just your heart racing, you holding on to the wires for dear life, and the heat just tired you out! I never thought I would be saying this, but the ziplines were a break. Like, I had at least ten ugh-if-I-have-to-do-one-more-swing-bridge-I'm-gonna-OMG A ZIPLINE moments. Most of the obstacles were a. plank bridges, b. wooden swings, c. tightropes or d. ziplines. Wooden swings were the most terrifying of the bunch. Bridges and tightropes were easy. Zip lines were hard for me. I would always spin around I couldn't turn myself back around. Usually I could land, but once I hit the padding and went back down the center of the zipline and got stuck. I had to hoist myself up. Another time I came in backwards and I hit the back of my calve on the platform. Forgot to lift my feet up, I guess. Again, we got through the first four courses. I felt super accomplished with that, because I was pooped. But next time I'm going to do the Summit! I loved the Leap of Faith obstacle, as well as the slightly terrifying skateboard. The final zipline was exhilarating, but the climb up ladders was annoying. I wish there was an elevator after the long day of climbing. Some tips: The gloves are okay. They started getting frayed, but they lasted the day and maybe one more visit. They're only $3, after all. BUY THE WATER PASS. For $3, you can get as many ice cold bottles of water you want from nice big Yeti coolers. I drank six, maybe. You sweat so much during the summer, so much that I didn't have to use the restroom (good thing, because your harnesses have to be rechecked afterwards). Conquer your fears! While things may look scary, and you might have some oh-crap moments (I may have used some other expletives), most things aren't as bad as you'd think. Biggest issue for me was the rope swings. Just JUMP! Overall, this was an amazing experience. I conquered my slight fear of heights, got a good workout, and even made some inside jokes with my friends in the process. Best part? Not sore one bit the day after. read more

Very well run operation with great staff. Everyone was so friendly and energetic. It really is a priority that you have a great time. It is also very safe. Not once was I worried about any of the equipment. This is a great place for both adults and kids. Here are some tips... 1. Make a reservation. We went on May 21 and they were asking groups without a reservation to come back later in the day. 2. Get the gloves and the water. You will want both while on the course 3. If you rent the GoPro bring your own SIM card. The memory level on the one they offer is low and will not hold much. 4. Wear sunscreen but no bug spray. Bug spray damages the equipment. Bugs were not a problem when I was there 5. It will bottle neck at times. Just relax. Encourage others. Some people get really scared up there and it may take them a little longer to step off the platform. Everyone should go. I saw all fitness levels up there so don't think you can't go because you don't have a lot of upper body strength or endurance. We had so much fun. Enjoy! read more

Treeumph was really great fun and I can't wait to go back! It's very well maintained and thoughtfully built. Few things: (1) Test out your gear on the practice course; let your harness catch you when you're practicing so you will be more confident on the later courses. You will have a 15 minute safety video followed by a practice course to show the guides you know how to safely use all of your gear. The staff members are patient and very helpful, so people of all ages/ability levels can catch on easily. (2) Most of the course is in the shade (yay!), but there are parts in the sun so be sure to put on sunscreen. There are bugs (it is surrounded by trees, after all), but nobody really got bitten so it wasn't much of an issue. (3) Invest in the gloves and water pass. If you have your own gloves, bring ones that are full-fingered. I bought their gloves and they do the job just fine (no blisters); they're just really fuzzy and shed a lot. :) (4) For those concerned with safety, just make sure you follow the tips in the safety training video and you'll be just fine. I made the mistake of gripping too hard onto the wires since it was my first time, so I ended up injuring my fingers and overworking my arms; trust your gear and let the rest of your body to the work whenever possible. (5) Do the final zipline! It's a lot of fun, but the climb up is a bit scary. :) Have fun! read more

Wow! What an awesome experience! My fiance and I went and we thought it may be a kiddie type course.. boy was I wrong! Course 1 and 2 are pretty hard so be sure you wear good sneakers, bring gloves or buy the gloves there (only $3 and worth it) Bring water with you in a cooler and leave in your car (the parking lot isn't far from the course) or you can pay $ for unlimited bottle water at each course. I think it's $6. The third course gets hard.. actually so hard I ended my experience there. I am athletic, I kickbox, do weights, bootcamp, can bike 20+ miles and THIS kicked my butt! It's all about strength, balance and endurance. If you have muscles but can't do a yoga class.. this may not be for you. If you're afraid of heights THIS is the place to get over that fear. The staff was AWESOME and they made me feel calm when I got so nervous I was sweating bullets and losing my balance. They give you helpful tips and motivate you. The front desk staff (a young girl) is very very sweet and welcoming. My quote for next time "Just let go! Have fun. Don't overthink and remember... you are strapped in so if you fall you don't actually fall." Take a camera/phone with you. The pics are awesome to have as memories.. just make sure you have a tight pocket or somewhere to put it while on the course/zip lining so it doesn't fall out. As far as food. Eat before you come and bring snacks however there are places to eat 7 miles away if you feel like grabbing a bite. We went to Crispins afterwards and got a salad and a wrap. It was right near the parkway entrance. read more
