We were visiting from out of town and simply wanted to test ride the Verve 3. Our local shop did not have any in supply. Tess was so friendly and helpful (no pressure, just great care and empathy). So we bought two electric bikes and will pick them up for Christmas when we come back in town in December. Dropped in on a Sunday afternoon to check out some mountain bikes. I was greeted by Matt who was extremely knowledge and helpful navigating the different Trek bike models. Matt showed me around the store and offered some great advice based on local foothill trails I plan on riding. One of my biggest questions was what size bike frame would be right for me? Well they have a in-store computer that takes a picture of you and then gauges the right bike size for each frame model. I then hopped on the size model it recommended and must say it was dead on estimate. They have a huge demo fleet of pretty much every bike. This summer they will have free demo days at local venues, or you can demo a bike 1/2 or full day anytime. The demo fee goes toward purchase of a bike. Trek is a strong contender in my upcoming MTB purchase, certainly due to the amazing service I received at this store. read more

Visiting Boise and had our bikes with us. My wife's bike shifter was broken and we thought we wouldn't be able to ride. Trek staff gave us a warm greeting as soon as we entered the shop and asked what they could help with. It was a bigger problem than we thought and the team at Trek still jumped over hoops to get us taken care of. They promised we'd have it by the end of the day... In true Trek fashion, they fixed it in 3 hours, using brand new parts from a retail bike they had on the floor. The fact that they would put the service of out oft owners ahead of selling a $3,000 bike is hard to find nowadays. On a side note, the bike store is beautiful with every type of bike - road, mtn. fats, and cross. Staff is super knowledgeable and the mechanics are the best. Thanks. read more

I visited Trek Bicycle Boise West on March 6th, 2021 looking to purchase my first bike in over 20 years. Louie was a tremendous help in assisting me. I had two bike styles in mind, and he pulled down a few for me to try in different sizes. After I selected my bike, (I got the Verve 3 Disc Lowstep) he guided me around the store, suggesting accessories. I never felt any pressure to purchase anything extra, and Louie was very knowledgeable and candid about what would be best for my bicycling needs. It took about 30 minutes for all of the accessories to be added, and adjustments made, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. I will definitely visit this store again! read more

My bike had been performing poorly for awhile, so I took it here for a basic tune up. When I got there, they immediately put my bike on the stand and did a basic inspection while I was there. Although my basic tune up turned into almost a full overhaul, they explained every issue to me that they found. Explains why my bike was performing so poorly. I ordered a pair of bike shorts, I went in to pick them up and they had not yet arrived. The sales manager John told me he would bring them to my work when they came in. He drove out of his way in traffic to my business across town to bring them to me.That kind of customer service is unheard of in today's world. Our bike pro Dillon saw to every need we had promptly and with no uneasy high pressure sales techniques or tricks. We recently purchased two Trek E Bikes and love the bikes! What has soured the experience for me is getting aggressively approached by employees with high powered hand sanitizer bottles upon entering the the store the last two times. I get safety protocols. I wear a mask, and I love a clean store, but showering my hands with sanitizer without my permission is offensive and very off-putting. There are much kinder and respectful approaches that can be used with customers. I don't think I will be going back. read more
