Today I stopped in to ask if Dr. Aimee could perform an injection for sciatica and to make sure they had this medicine in stock. Just that question only, before I went to the emergency room. What I experienced was a total different no customer service attitude response to my kindness and concern. This is nothing like the medical professional service that we are use to experiencing. I stood at the front desk for 10 minutes before I was greeted. Once the young lady appeared I was immediately given an attitude for no reason and she would not make eye contact nor apologize for keeping us waiting as three employees were laughing and socializing. They looked at us and we looked at them through the entry door window that leads back to the treatment area. I asked if I could call her right quick on the phone she said no. I said I could email her. She will not assist with that. She said if I did they would get back to me in a few days as I'm standing there with no one in the waiting room and no patients coming or going. She told me I would have to pay $150 and then she would see me (Dr. Aimee.) Super unprofessional all around. It is very disappointing as I am in tremendous pain and wanted to see a physician I could trust. My family and I will not be coming back.

The administrative staff is rude and combative, especially the office manager. My last visit was a follow-up for blood work, which somehow took an hour. The office manager, who was not wearing a mask, would not let my partner accompany me inside due to Covid. One would think that she would be wearing a mask if Covid was a concern, but alas. They sent my pharmacy conflicting prescriptions, the blood work left a bruise for over a week, every appointment take at least an hour, usually closer to 2 hours, you spend all of your time waiting in a room before talking to a PA for maybe 5 minutes. It's an all around awful experience.

This practice has a lot of great reviews and I want to share my experience in case it helps…read moresomeone. In January 2025 I made an appointment for the earliest new patient appointment, which was in June 2025. I decided to wait for the appointment because I really appreciated the philosophy found on the website and definitely liked the glowing reviews. I had positive interactions with all staff I encountered and the clinic was clean and bright. The provider I met with suspected a new problem/diagnosis and so started a work up with labs and imaging. Clinic staff did follow up with me once labs resulted out and referred me to a specialist. The ordered imaging was performed ~2 weeks after my new patient appt but I never received follow up, from the NP or anyone else at Ponce Primary Care re: the imaging results. It has now been ~3 months since my last communication, specific to my care, with anyone in this office. I decided to reach out to discuss the standard of care, which I felt to be lacking. Dr. Chad Costley did return my call within an hour or so and he did verbalize disappointment with my situation. He assured me that my experience is unfortunately the exception to their typical patient experience. I was informed that the NP I had been assigned to was "only part-time and here less than a month". I did not ever receive any communication from Ponce Primary Care to notify me that my assigned provider was departing or to invite me to call to schedule with another provider for seamless continuity of care. I was told that my imaging results were never sent by the imaging facility I went to and that "this is where the wheels came off". That is absolutely possible but it was also not confirmed to be true at the time of the statement. The report not being in the patient chart does not mean it was never received by the ordering office or sent to the ordering provider. Sometimes things get scanned and assigned incorrectly, or not scanned at all. Lots of possibilities there. To me, that shows a lack of accountability for not holding a supervisory review of a departing provider's caseload/EMR task list and it also fails to consider that an out-of-state fax number associated with the ordering provider could be the problem. I waited 6 months for a new patient appointment and, whatever the circumstances, was lost in the shuffle. I will not be continuing with this practice, although I'm sure they have many satisfied patients as evidenced by their overall rating. My advice if you wish to establish/continue care here: Be able to advocate for yourself and for your own healthcare. Be knowledgeable about when to follow up on your care in case the practice doesn't. If the wait is still 6 months out for a new patient appointment when you try to schedule, do not think an extra special or VIP experience awaits you - realize that they just might be too busy to accept new patients.

And I look forward to putting it on every review platform I can find to warn others. This is the specific location. 882 Ponce de Leon Ave NE Atlanta, GA 30306 United States Phone number: +1 (770) 809-3034 Dr. Christina Collector Christina if you're reading this, you assured me 1. You'd reach out to make sure everything went smoothly post appointment and 2. That it is possible to call this urgent care and someone would answer.... They do not respond to any calls, at any hour, or voicemails. They don't even respond on their mychart platform which is again, absurd. I have selected every one of their choices, attempted to speak to front desk, billing, you name it. NO RESPONSE. I have called several times a day between May 28th and June 24th (when I'm writing this review) they do not respond to anything. All I need is an itemized bill of what they did while I was in urgent care to submit to my medical insurance. ICD codes, CPT codes, etc are required for insurance to bill. Mind you before I left both Dr. Christina Collector and her receptionist assured me I could call, contact them my email or my chart for an itemized bill. Yet, No response. Nothing. The bill they gave me is attached. It's a joke. But Piedmont did send me another bill by mail!!!!!!!!!!!!! Received June 20th... I am from out of state. I was visiting Atlanta for a graduation May 25th when I got injured with a laceration. The cut was deep enough for stitches but we didn't make it to urgent care in time. So essentially, Dr. Christina Collector washed the wound, put iodine, Neosporin and a bandage on. All of this could cost someone maybe $50 from cvs. The bill was flat rate $210 and the receipt they gave me was a joke. The saddest thing is, I wanted so badly to like this place and this dr. Now I get to spend my time writing this review and if their medical bills continue to be sent to me? Look forward to alerting the local media and seeing them in court.

This location incorrectly coded my visit and is refusing to correct it with my insurance company,…read moreresulting in a $200+ bill after I visited them for an earache. All they did was take me into a patient room, examine my ear, confirm the infection, and send me my prescription. My insurance covers urgent care, with a co-pay, which I paid. However, they didn't code it as 'urgent care', they coded it as an 'in-office visit' for an 'established patient'. This is the closest urgent care location to my house, I have obviously been here before, but I have never been for routine care. I have a PCP listed with insurance and had already received my well visit earlier this year. The 3 different people this has been escalated to within Aetna agree they incorrectly coded this visit; however, when they called to get them to resubmit the claim, they refused and insist 'office visit' was the correct coding for the visit. My insurance asked their billing department to put the bill on hold while we resolve this; they are 'unable to do that'. When my Aetna representative asked them to connect me with someone who could address the issue, they said there was no one who is able to do that. I know have to go through an appeals process to resolve this with my insurance - I will NEVER step foot in this office again.

My first visit was not a visit that I expected her attitude her demeanor was non-caring she was not thoughtful she cut me off she would not allow me to let her know what my body was going through instead she wanted to write all these prescription do all these different tests and was not towards what I came there for. Her Spirit Just wasn't clicking in my head at all she was rude she didn't want to sit and talk and just say hey what's going on with you oh you must be depressed. Being a doctor you supposed to be compassionate you supposed to be empathetic you supposed to be caring you supposed to be a person with a set of ears just willing to listen because you don't know what that person has gone through throughout the day. they that live with how they survive. She has no compassion I'm totally upset with her and how she treated me last week at my last visit. I rather go to big Grady downtown Jesse Hill then to deal with a small Clinic because dr. Summers Wednesday clinics she only have four patients. what does that say about her the reason she switch and swats in different clinics is it cuz she's trying to build. But the only way you build clientele is you change your nasty demeanor how you see people how you feel about people you're a doctor you're supposed to be there to help me not to hinder our hurt my feelings. So as of now I will be calling Grady Monday to change her from my primary care doctor to someone else I'll take a foreigner over my own race but it's not about your color it's about your compassion, confidentiality and the chairs most important. We all know that doctors are in a business plan with the pharmaceutical the right as much medication as possible. But she writes me a prescription of 5000 units of vitamin D checked the new write-ups that have vitamin 50,000 units is too much so I changed it on my own so I hope she know who wrote this review it ain't no secret period. My previous doc thought it was depression or thyroid issues but Dr.Rollins didn't take their word for it and ran blood work and figured out I was "severely deficient" in vitamin D. Which is weird bc I spend a lot of time outdoors. He hand wrote me a letter that I got in the mail two weeks after my appointment explaining it and telling me how much vit D to take and for how long and why. After a few weeks, I now feel back to my ole self and not tired anymore. I'm supposed to go back in three months for him to double check to see if I'm up to normal again and fig out why I was so deficient. Also, I explained in my first appt that I once went to a derm that never sent me my results no matter how many times I asked them to mail, email, or fax them to me. The next time I saw Dr. Rollins, he walked in with not just my file from that derm, but also their own derm who explained and interpreted my lab results from the other derm I went to a year ago and no they didn't charge me for it. Love this place.

During the appointment, the new physician asked questions about her existing medical history, including cholesterol and other previously diagnosed conditions. My wife answered those questions but did not seek treatment for any new issues. The physician ordered routine blood work, including tests that she has received as part of her annual physical for several years. We were surprised to later receive a bill for a separate office visit. We were told that because pre-existing conditions were discussed during the appointment, the visit was billed separately. We also received a separate bill from the lab for the blood work. What makes this particularly frustrating is that my wife has had these same routine tests performed during her annual physicals for the past four years at this practice without receiving an additional office visit charge or lab charge. Patients should be aware that discussing existing medical conditions during an annual physical at Northside Primary Care Midtown (previously Midtown Medical Associates), even when responding to questions from the physician, will result in additional charges. Basic tests such as cholesterol, lipid profile etc. is not covered under the annual physical with this practice anymore. We wish this had been explained clearly before or during the appointment so we could have made an informed decision. We are disappointed and concerned about the transparency of the billing process. We will look for another doctor.
