Sat on my glasses last night and they turned into a town with a very small Jewish population (only one temple) anyway I walked into Trend Eye Care and everyone was friendly helpful and amazing. I felt valued. Everyone was great, especially Dawn who tried to fix my glasses, but the 4077 style meatball surgery I attempted with crazy glue lat night made that impossible. As a walk in they gave me an eye exam (Woot Woot Dr. T!) and then Dawn helped me get the right frames and lenses, for me, basically identical to what I had, cuz I'm now an old man scared of change, all the while being so friendly and kind, even laughing at all my jokes. I couldn't have hoped for a better experience. The late stage capitalism enveloping us like a microphage has yet to infect Trend Eye Care and Dawn and the whole crew and I hope it stays that way. I cannot recommend Trend Eye Care enough. I first came in after accidentally sitting on my glasses, fully expecting to pay for a repair. Instead, they fixed them quickly and free of charge. That kind of good faith business really stood out to me. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful, and the whole experience was fast and stress-free. Because of that experience, I decided to come back for an eye exam. The appointment with the optometrist was very professional, streamlined, and efficient. Quick, easy, and thorough. I then ordered new lenses, and they went above and beyond by expediting the order and installing them quickly since they were my only pair of glasses. Today, I stopped in again after buying a new set of frames that needed adjustment, and Brianna took care of me. She was fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable, and had everything adjusted perfectly in no time. Once again, they helped me free of charge. The only critique I have, and it's a small one, is that I wish PD distance was written on prescriptions. It makes things easier for patients, especially if they ever need to order lenses elsewhere. Leaving it off could unintentionally give the impression that patients are expected to purchase frames and glasses in-store, even if that's not the intention. Including PD would help avoid that perception and make the process more transparent and convenient. Overall, Trend Eye Care consistently delivers speedy, kind, and genuinely helpful service. Great eye doctor I was in and out quickly with the digital eye exam. I really liked the staff they were laid back but knowledgeable and efficient at the same time. I visited Trend Eye Care for the first time today and I must say, it was the most positive experience I've ever had with an eye exam. Like...ever. I arrived 25 minutes ahead of my appointment time, figuring I'd add a few minutes to peruse the frame selection. I was taken to the back to begin, as soon as I completed the intake sheet. Each employee I interacted with was highly efficient, professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly pleasant. It translated to 'I love my job and I'm good at it, so I'm happy'. The vibe was contagious, and it made me feel great to be there. The layout of the store is spacious, modern, and clean - including the restroom. The music selection was spot-on, with just enough volume to make for nice ambience. Dr. Chung completed my exam and she was outstanding. Clearly, extremely competent and loves what she does. Meticulous, thoughtful, affable, and relatable. A+++ Elaina assisted me with selecting frames, which is usually time-consuming for me (decisions decisions). She was patient and actively aided me in exploring the options, providing input on which ones she thought worked well. They have a huge selection of designer frames, very competitively priced. I was impressed. I selected a beautiful pair of Gucci frames and Elaina took and then retook my measurements to make sure they were custom-ordered to fit me perfectly. She even tightened my existing frames before I left and advised me on the proper way to remove them to ensure they stay intact over time (I tend to yank my glasses off with one hand and I guess she could totally tell, by the wear and tear). It is a rarity to experience exceptional customer service so when you do, it's pronounced. I will return to Trend for all my eyecare needs. read more

Was here about a year ago and had a decent experience- liked the optometrist. I did find them to be pushy with the designer lenses but over all not bad. Today I checked on time, and 15 mins later asked if the optometrist was running behind. They said there was still another person ahead of me waiting to be seen, and it would be another 25-30 minutes. They stated they were being due to walk ins and some other schedule changes... but I find it frustrating they taking walk ins delayed my appointments. From a professionalism perspective, people who work there are clad in jeans and sweatshirts. Will probably go elsewhere from now on. read more

I am a first time customer at trend eye care. My first time there was GREAT. I hadn't been to an eye doctor in a very long time. Dr. Patel was very kind and very helpful when it came to all of the questions I asked her. I also took a class on how to put my contacts in and how to take them out. The young lady who helped me with that was AWESOME. Unfortunately, I forgot her name. But, she was GREAT. On July 5th, I returned for my follow up. Everything with Dr. Patel went good. I had no complaints. It was until it was time for me to pick out glasses that everything took a nasty turn. I was helped by Malik. The minute he opened my folder with my eye chart and saw that I had terrible vision. He made a negative comment. He made me feel very uncomfortable. And due to the fact that I am insecure about my terrible eyesight, he made me feel bad. I asked him if there was an issue because I felt like he was being smart. He responded "oh no! It's not like that. If anything I'm the one in here who will help you." Well, it didn't seem like it. I got passed it though. So, when it was time to pick out my glasses. I explained to him that I've always been told by my former eye doctor that the bigger the frame the thinner the lenses. But, Malik said otherwise. I wasn't arguing with it. He works there. It's not that I didn't trust his judgement. So, I picked out some glasses. He said the lenses would be thick bc I have a high index. He called dr. Patel out to further explain to me. But. She also wasn't really sure of how the glasses would come out. Malik ONCE AGAIN, had a NEGATIVE comment. I got so upset I ended up not even getting glasses. I just got contacts instead. That is NOT what I wanted. I still wanted the glasses. Regardless, If the lenses are thick. Because I know that I need glasses. My issue is that Malik did NOT help me find glasses that would fit me. EVERYTHING was negative. I am NOT happy with my experience after yesterday. And sadly I still do not have glasses. That I really do NEED! I'm not saying that He doesn't know his job. However, I've never had anyone other than a doctor help me pick out glasses. I have a very high index. I also have a lazy eye. I have very poor vision. Malik DID NOT make things easy for me. I also would like to apologize to Dr. Patel because I got so upset. I wasn't frustrated with her. She is a great doctor and made me feel very comfortable. But, the guy who helped me was NOT professional at all! I had a terrible experience with him. Left a very bad taste in my mouth!! If it wasn't for dr. I came back to Trend Eye Care to buy similar glasses with larger frames for my work Covid masks. They need to be longer because of the glasses steaming up regardless. I have found your prices to not be competitive but higher cost. So I expect more. I came twice to your store to pick out a lens shape and frame size asked by your staff with a delay. I choose a round shape not oval. There was only one wood cutout of the shape I wanted. There weren't actual glasses I looked at. I also remember your sales person placing many wood cutout shapes in the same bag. If they have the same number a mistake can be made. When I said to your employees the mistake they were very argumentative and hostile without yelling. I don't want to return I like this eyeglass brand and wish to buy it elsewhere. read more

My husband and I stopped by at about 5:30pm tonight to browse frames. Since they close at 6, we assumed we would have to come back to purchase our chosen frames. Jessica signed us in and managed to squeeze my husband in for an eye exam due to his expired prescription. Then proceeded to stay with us past 6 while we chose our frames and ordered our new glasses. Btw, We tried on a whole lot of frames. She never came off as annoyed or trying to rush us. Shhung out with us the whole time and offered suggestions- felt like I was shopping with a friend. This will 100% be my new frame shop and Jessica my new glasses pal lol. Update: My husband and I have bought frames from the internet, Lenscrafters and Warby Parker. Whenever we have purchased our frames, we receive the glasses in their case along with their box. This is going to sound semi ridiculous but it was bothersome to both of us- we purchased Gucci frames and were only given the case and mini bag with our glasses. We asked about the box. They claimed that glasses don't get sent in boxes (??) Then my husband noticed a huge brown box filled with glasses boxes- two Gucci boxes on top. They claimed that they send the boxes back to the retailers. That's bs, and seems like a waste of time and money. Not sure what most people will make of that, but we were turned off. I appreciate the response from the owner, however I want to make it clear: I called to say I will be less than 5 mins late and she asked "will you actually be here in 5 mins?" I said "my ETA is 5:03" and she responded "if you're not here exactly at 5:03 you have to reschedule" at this point I said I will need to park and walk in so I might be walking in at 5:04-5:05. There was absolutely no miscommunication that she said 5:30. I asked for clarification that I really had to reschedule for being 5 mins late and she said yes so I said "that is kind of ridiculous and I'll be cancelling my appointment".
