When they moved to Jordan, my mother, Fiancé, and I visited (without an appointment as many do) and were greeted by a very disgruntled young lady who was not kind or welcoming AT ALL. She huffed and puffed, asked what we wanted, said we could sit down, nobody was there, just wait. Some cop walked in- she was SUPER DUPER friendly with him- then Dub walked in and her demeanor completely changed. She introduced herself, "Hi, my names Jules- how can we help you today?" Wow! Talk about whiplash! So we focused our energy on Dub. He introduced me to Nila and showed me her work. I paid a deposit to hold an artist, but no appointment was ever booked, no artist time was used, and no design work was created. The artwork was entirely my own, and I simply decided to change the design before moving forward. Despite this, I was told my deposit was "forfeited" due solely to changing my design - even though no services had been provided and no work had begun. The shop refused to refund the deposit until I involved an attorney, at which point the money was returned. I'm sharing this so future clients understand how deposits are handled here. Transparency and fairness matter, especially in an industry built on trust. We even donated to Nila's benefit when her house burned down. This is how you treat the people in the community that build you back up? What a shame.
