My hair is as plain as it comes: jet black, straight as an arrow and it grows like weeds. If left ignored, before I know it, I've become Cher circa 1971. I mean, that's not a bad thing, but sometimes I crave ~VOLUME~. A friend turned me onto Tres Bon and I had the pleasure of having Diane do her thang with my lifeless head of hair. I explained how I'd like to trim off dead ends yet keep a lot of length, have piece-y defined layers, and add a ton of bounce. She pretty much delivered exactly that and beyond -- perfectly staggered layers in a shape that didn't make my head turn into an isosceles triangle and deliciously fresh ends. Traci has been doing my hair for over a year now and it's never looked better. I always request a cut that can still look good even if I just want to wash and wear it--and Traci always delivers. She layers my hair so that even if I don't want to blow dry or curl my hair it still looks good. She's also an excellent colorist and I frequently get compliments on my highlights. The salon is tucked away in a collection of shops in the Claremont Village, but it's pretty easy to find. It's small and cozy and I like how it doesn't reek of perm chemicals.
