What can I say? The atmosphere is awesome, the food is all incredible, not to mention how cool the market is. The menu is incredibly extensive and has good choices for anyone that likes Mexican food. The market has a bunch of cool little bits and bobs that I as a totally non-Mexican, very white person don't really understand but still enjoy! It's fun to shop around while you wait for your food or even after eating. Staff has always been very nice and on top of things like refills, getting food out quick, etc. All the little murals and things are very pleasing to look at. Been to this place many times and it's still fire to this day! I would always get their tacos whether it's suadero, lengua, or al pastor! And they're also affordable which is a plus! This establishment was the bomb. Great ambiance as well as perfect service. The Mrs had the Mixed Fajitas which are beef and chicken. It came with rice, beans, lettuce and guacamole. She said if she'd have known the guac was that good, she would have just ordered it with chips. $17 I had the Mexican Enchiladas plate. Beef, cheese and chicken in delicious corn tortillas. Me and my fiance, were looking for somewhere different to eat.And we came upon the best mexican restaurant we've ever eaten at. I can't believe this place has been here for so long, and it took us this long to try it out. It is absolutely amazing. I've gone a handful of times already and just went for the first time a few months ago. The first time I went, i got the steak quesdilla for $12, and it was ammmmazing. We then wanted to try the chimichanga for $7. we got it one time deep fried, and one time not, it was delicious both ways. I did recently just got back and got the shredded chicken quesdilla for $12 i do have to say it was good but it wasn't nearly as good as the steak was.I probably would not get it again. In town visiting with 5 others. Decided to give this a try. Interesting spot. Kind of semi industrial area of town. Menu was on par with many other Mexican establishments. Took a bit of time to get drink orders in. Though there were few others in the place. This was about 5pm so dinner crowd had not arrived. Food was excellent and quick to receive. Saw a lot of to go orders being taken out as well. If back in this area again would go back. Now the draw backs..... Two of us got meals that would normally have tortilla shells come with them. They do not offer them with the meals and have to be ordered extra. Though a 3rd in our party got fajitas and they got shells. Same with salsa and chips. None on table and have to be ordered as a side. Neither major issues but for those who frequent Mexican food establishments, and these are normally come with the meal or provided, its different. read more

First timers here. The shop is quaint and reasonably priced items. Not too expensive. The bakery was delicious. The tamales were great and meaty. The torta was delicious, maybe needed more meats. My only problem in this visit was The taco salad. It was horrible!!! The botttom of it was so wet that everything fell out. I was super hungry and excited to eat this and then completely disappointed as the only thing edible was the meat and lettuce. The beans were very runny also. But overall I'd give this little spot a good rating, just don't get the taco salad!!!! I expected a big more for the price, probably wouldn't eat here again aside from tamales. read more

We were in the mood for Mexican so after doing a research we decided on Tres Hernanes. Sadly, I was very disappointed. I ordered the Carnitas super burrito and all it seemed to have inside was meat. Dry meat. Flavorless meat. Carnitas is shredded pork, so I'm not sure why I got these dry little chunks of meat, and that's all that was in there. The burrito was really bland and super disappointing. My husband got the California burrito and he said it was good. It definitely looked like it had more going on inside than mine. But the menu also said it came with a side salad. When my husband came to the car not only did we not have a side salad we were also missing the flan that I had ordered. I'm so glad we checked before we drove away. They gave us the flan (which was very good but not best I have ever had). and told us they no longer offered side salads... AMBIANCE: This establishment can easily be missed if you're driving down Cameron Street, for it sits a little sunken in from the Main Street. Once inside, I felt like I was at a true Mexican authentic establishment. It's very colorful, great music playing, making you feel like you are in Old San Juan. This place also has a small International Grocery Store in the back, which I found extremely helpful, and I found some nice seasonings that I couldn't get anywhere else in the area. Parking is a little confusing, for there are no white lines sectioning off parking spaces, so it seems like people are just making their own parking spot wherever they want. FOOD: All of the food came out hot and made to order. I have tried different Spanish restaurants in the area, and I will say that this one is tasty but not as tastierthann some of the places nearby. The price point of the food items is extremely reasonable. For a party of tw, I spent under $40 which was excellen, and we were extremely full with items we chose. We've ordered from the location in Mount Joy in the past and were very pleased to see that Harrisburg location is serving the same quality of delicious and authentic Mexican Food! The restaurant is located in a grocery store, which is stocked with any item you would need to cook at home. On this visit we sampled a few items from the menu and everything was delicious. The chips and salsa were just right and came in large portions. The other items we ordered were Enchilada Suiza and Carnitas platter. All portions were large and everything was cooked just right! The dishes are prepared when ordered so it may take a little longer than other "chain" Mexican restaurants who mass produce their dishes. Now by looking what other people were ordering.. looks like burritos and fajitas were verrrry popular. Maybe next time when I'm hungry. Back again and brought another couple for dinner. We chatted for quite awhile. We ordered fajitas chicken & the special combo. Wow they are delicious. Our friends have a keto type diet. So they had fajitas no beans or rice or tortillas. He had also a tostada with shrimp n octopus with no tortilla & pork chops no beans no rice. When he got his chops there was cactus on it and he made a face. He doesn't like spicy. We told him it was just cactus but he slid it aside. The menu didn't say cactus either mmm. Anyway his wife had left overs so she put it in her Togo box. I would have given 5 stars because the Torta Cubano was on point as usual, but they were out of all of the taco fillings my mother drove all the way from Palmyra to eat. She was very perturbed. So, she ordered the Menudo. I have to say, the Menudo was very weak. Just broth & tripe, not much seasoning, no hominy. The bonus is that they are BYOB. The new Mexican restaurant where Bob Evans was wanted to charge us a $10 BYOB fee! They can stick that up their culo! I understand supply chain issues, but we were celebrating my 50th birthday and she drove pretty far for a bum experience. I feel so bad. We have eaten at Tres Hermanos several times, but most recently, we were given a take-out order that was barely warm. In fact, part of the order must have just been taken out of the freezer and not even brought up to room temperature. As a result, I spent most of the night with Montezuma's revenge. I was working at the power plant right down the road and was craving some authentic Mexican food for lunch. This place is a restaurant and restaurant. We were sat right away and our orders taken. The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. The price for our lunch was super affordable. We ate like kings for less than 20 bucks.
