Again, i get the feeling that Deaf people here in Puerto Rico are treated like we don't exist or that we're an inconvenience--second-class citizens, as if my money isn't good enough. As if we do good enough to afford McDonald's, it's an attitude that I've encountered in other parts of the world: India, Brazil, Thailand, to name a few, where accessibility doesnt exist, and Deaf people and people with disabilities are given low expectations.
