This was hands down the worst medical experience I've ever had, and I thought my previous…read moreexperience with them was horrid.... At my daughter's 2-year checkup, this doctor, Mr. Peter Harris, barely even did an actual exam. Yet he felt completely comfortable telling me my child was "severely autistic" and would never live a normal life, go to a regular school, or be around other kids. Who says that to a parent--especially without a proper evaluation by a true ASD professional? It was cruel, reckless, and completely inappropriate. I left that appointment terrified and heartbroken. No parent should ever be spoken to like that based on what felt like a rushed, lazy assessment. Thankfully, I trusted my gut and did NOT follow his referral. I paid extensively out of pocket for an independent evaluation, by a world renowned doctor, and guess what? My daughter is NOT autistic. She simply has a speech delay and some oral motor issues; things that are manageable and common. So not only was Mr. Peter Harris wrong, he was wildly wrong. To make it even worse, they had the nerve to call me months afterwards to make sure I went through with their referral--like they were trying to double down on their misdiagnosis, or receive a nice kickback from UC Davis. This bargain bin of medical clinics throws around serious labels like it's nothing, with zero regard for the emotional damage it causes families, especially mothers. It's fear-mongering, plain and simple. If you care about your child, get a second opinion, trust your gut, and think twice before trusting this clinic and doctor. No one should have to go through the anxiety and distress that I endured.

Did the procedure I was after I didn't have to wait at all. Everyone was really honest and nice .... If you look at my other reviews from this same day, I tried to receive treatment at three other urgent care facilities all under the Lincoln urgent Care brand... And they wouldn't even accept 100% cash payment to treat a spider bite! So it's a tricky world because the only reason I went to the Lincoln urgent Care was because it had 4.9 Stars and I avoided Westerns Sierra because they had one star. But I got the best service ever... What a confusing maze. Thanks for the treatment

I'm actually surprised the rating isn't better. I had a WONDERFUL experience here. I was having a…read morehorrible reaction to something for weeks and finally couldn't take it anymore as nothing was working. I developed a rash all over my body, and I decided urgent care was the next step. I went in, and I was checked in immediately by a wonderfully kind and helpful woman, I went to the waiting room and before I could even sit down I was called back. Had my vitals done and waited in the room maybe 5 minutes before a doctor came in. He listened to my concerns, checked me out and prescribed me meds that worked immediately and within a week I was finally better after a month of suffering.

I have been very pleased with the care I've received at Sutter and the Urgent Care department is no exception. While working in the garden last fall I slipped on some shade cloth and went down hard on my wrist. At first I brushed it off and went about my business and about two hours later I was in excruciating pain (this coming from someone with a high pain threshold). I was afraid I had broken my wrist and wanted to get it attended to quickly before bones set wrong. It was Saturday afternoon and there were about 3-4 patients ahead of me. After about 45 min I was seen by the dr and he sent me over to radiology for X-rays. They promptly took the X-rays and I headed back to wait for results. They could not definitively tell if it was a break because the suspected bone was behind others. Dr. said that if it was broken I'd know if I was still in pain. They put me in a wrist brace and sent me on my way. TL;DR they were prompt, friendly and professional and had me in and out of there in under 3 hours. Oh and no break! Just a bad sprain. I know everyone's experiences are different but wanted to share that mine was good.

The PA who took care of me wasted no time giving me the steroid injection I needed. Also, everyone there was polite and kind. This is a fantastic place to go for typical urgent care needs. For nine years I've had fantastic…read morecare. Today was a different scenario. I am a weekly infusion patient who is been very sick for approximately a week. My daughter came down with a Staph G infection, so my immediate concern having a primary immune disorder was, I hope being around her the day before doesn't get me sick. I did not have a sore throat or her symptoms. I am a patient who spends quite a bit of time in the hospital. I have been profusely sweating, severe migraine, also the beginning of lung pain, horrible fatigue, etc. I never go to the hospital if possible, do to both germs and literally always being admitted. I also get chronic bronchitis, and pneumonia. I wouldn't have drug myself in three layers of clothing with sweats freezing unless I knew for sure what what infection was coming. As always, the staff is fantastic, the N.,P should have stayed in bed. She did not listen to my lungs. I am so angry with the poor practitioner care I just called her. I stated also, as a health care professional, where was her mask, response, I don't wear one. Everyone in the office but her had a mask on, even a toddler in the waiting room. I told her she just saw a patient with a rare primary immune disease who lives on infusions of donor plasma, and immunoglobulins. Still she didn't put on a mask. It's impossible to hear anyone's lungs with four layers of clothing on, nursing 1A! She did not tell me what she was calling in. On the way out I had to ask the receptionist what was called in. I looked at her and said what, she nodded and asked me if that was okay. I said, I'm sure I'll be back then, I didn't have the energy to deal with that woman in person, hence the call. If she was having a bad day, she should have said that, I would have understood, we probably may have laughed a bit saying, don't you hate working when you're having a bad day. I told her to call my immunologist. Needless to say, if you have a N.P. named Kathryn, be ready, just make sure you . Otherwise, as usual, for the third time I want to reiterate, I will remain a patient if I have any U.C.needs. Sorry, had to make sure if they see this woman here in Cameron Park, stand up for yourself.Back to bed.

My wife and I have been going to Stallant Health for about four years now. Every praise from my…read moreoriginal review still stands. We have recently been discussing possible moving locations into a new place, and believe it or not, relatively-close proximity to Stallant's location is a crucial factor in our decision making process. (Sumimasen, Japan. You'll have to wait!) That is because we go one or more times per week for a two-hour treatment for depression. I was once on the treatment, and my wife still is. Not only do they offer the hard-to-find treatment, but they have catered so much of their office model to be conducive to a relaxed and effortless treatment! I had an amazing experience at Stallant (though the treatment itself by nature has mixed results) and all of my cares and concerns about the drug-that-starts-with-an-S-and-ends-in-Vato were brought up before my first administration and I was handled with utmost care and comfort. They even upgraded the patient bed to the highest quality model as well as added a futuristic chair that I've informally dubbed, "The Space Captain's Throne." ## OFFICE :: The clinic has been classy-in-style since we first started going there, but they continue to improve and improve even more. They recently began redecorating the front reception area and waiting room, and I've been told that Trey Williams is the one to give a shout out to for some of the newest style additions - great job! ## STAFF :: When you meet the dynamic-duo of Stallant, Dr. Steffens and Dr. Gallant - (see what they did there?) - you'll realize why this place is so effective, successful, well-operated, impactful, and cutting-edge. The entire staff team operates like divine machinery across the diverse spectrum of services they provide. Each member feels expertly-selected for their role. ## PARKING LOT :: Beware, the parking-lot facing the front door to the clinic can get stuffy! Just proceed with caution because I've noticed after 300+ trips there over the years that there are many tight spots and blind spots. ## GARDEN :: There is a stunningly beautiful seasonal garden just outside the front doors. It's absolutely recommended (I'd say, required) to take a few minutes and appreciate. I've been told by the grounds mgr. that there's a young-at-heart couple whom takes care of the flower varieties. You can tell they put the loving essence of their heart into the work, because it blows me away. As of writing Spring '22, there's a beautiful butterfly floral arrangement, only identifiable if you pay attention - it's to the right facing toward the front door below the steps. ## "WEIMART" STORE :: It's not attached to the clinic, but it's still bound by the heart of the vicinity / community. The market serves an impressive variety of plant-based foods - for example, dairy-free cheeses that will make you go moo. And other hidden treasures, too. ## SUMMARY I am honest and sincere in everything I write both in my professional tech & arts career and as a Yelp reviewer. There's a reason we've willingly made over 300 trips (45-min drive each way) into the lush hills of Weimar/Colfax to Stallant Health - because the encapsulating experience and resulting spirit-lift is a wondrous experience in itself. If Yelp users could give only 1 Gold-Award to only 1 business, Stallant Health would have mine. ~ "Jazzy" Jaina (& also on behalf of lady Jennifer)
