I own a building that is leased to the United States postal service. A lady , insured by Trexis stepped on the gas and hit my building over 3 weeks ago. I put in a claim with Trexis and have spoken with them several times. All I am told is it is being investigated. I ask what there is to investigate, the building did not hit the car. The customer support only says " we do not have to tell you anything". I ask how long before I can have the building repaired and I am rudely told, we don't have to tell you anything. AZ law states the insurance company has a "reasonable time to resolve the complaint" but there is no set time. I believe that 3 weeks is enough time to verify insurance and determine fault. Not impressed at all with this company and I understand why they have a 1.2 star rating. read more

Now they will not overnight my check to me for a down payment on a vehicle. offered to do direct deposit, but there is a fee. I should not be out any money on this I was stopped at a stoplight and was not at fault asked if any type of tracking number for this check to be mailed and there be no tracking number provided one to two weeks is what it's gonna take to get to me. Could not explain to me why they could not overnight that check to me that they just don't do it. Was hit by an unlicensed driver who was driving a car insured by this horrible company. They took 1 week to respond to the claim (Lindsey Padilla who is rude, unhelpful, and arrogant. Honestly shameful behavior) And now all I'm hearing is that they are giving the insured time to respond. It's been almost 3 weeks. Horrible company, with horrible response time, horrible customer service. Wouldn't be surprised if they are up to some legally questionable things. Customer service is terrible! My vehicle was rear ended by a driver that was insured through Trexis! Only my vehicle and the car that hit my vehicle were involved. The driver of the red Hyundai Elantra, Edward Stevenson lied to the state troopers and stated he was rear ended and pushed into my vehicle and that car fled the scene. I contacted his insurance since his vehicle struck mine and no other car was ever present. I ended up claims adjuster/ customer service Hannah Mauss! This lady was the rudest customer service person I ever met from the first call. She would cut you off while speaking, be disrespectful or make sarcastic statements! After over 3 weeks of waiting for Trexis to "investigate" which all they were waiting for is a police report. After me calling multiple times because why is it taking so long to get the report. Hannah informs me that they were denying my claim because their insured vehicle was not at fault. His car was struck and hit mine. I stated based on the pictures of both cars, you can tell that the rear of the red car did not have damage. How could it not be damaged if it was rear ended and caused the amount of damage that it did to the front pf his car and the read of mine. Hannah who kept rudely cutting me off stated, well in the police they noted damage to the rear of his car. Also to add more context, the guys own insurance had a hard time getting in contact with him for 3 weeks to get a statement. In my opinion he lied to the police but they weren't there so they took his word to avoid paying the damages he caused. He never even filed a claim on his vehicle. Trexis is the worst insurance. Terrible customer service. I feel sorry for anyone who picks them as an insurer or is hit by someone they insure. read more

I had to call customer service 3 times and send 14 emails to get my refund by check when it should have been direct deposit. When I receive the check it is $35 short. Trexis service deserves minus rating when it comes to the claims process. Woman I talked on day of accident with was pleasant enough, but very difficult to get hold of afterwards. I was hit and received minor damage by individual insured through Trexis. I was interviewed and pictures taken of damage to my car. After a month of stonewalling, the representative admitted her client had not filed all necessary paperwork, so there was no judgement. Deciding my cooperation was ill-serving me, I turned it over to my insurance company so I could get damage to my car repaired. Let the insurance company battle, rather than my being frustrated. Under no circumstances should you consider using trexis as your insurer. If you were hit by somebody with trexis, I wish you the best. Prepare for a long, drawn out, unprofessional joke of a process. firstly, they implied they were going to deny my claim based on complete nonsense. Their insured driver hit me, got citations for failure to yield, and everything that makes an open/shut insurance claim. I threatened lawsuits, and they came at me with a ridiculously low estimate for repairs. Was legitimately laughed at. I was left without a vehicle for multiple weeks. They refused to get me a rental. When they finally did get a rental, they paid for 3 days and before I got the settlement/repairs, stopped paying for the rental. Didn't bother to tell me that, so I had it for multiple days that I'm somehow responsible for. i had to call my adjuster 36 (no exaggeration) times during regular business hours to get a single answer for the initial conversation. He then would avoid my calls. I had to make texting app numbers for him to answer. I'd call 30-40 times for one single answer. The communication was an absolute joke. Meanwhile, I'm missing work and have no transportation. Calling the main number had me on hold for over an hour. This company is shady at absolute best. good luck if this is your company. If something happens, it's an unbelievably stressful joke to get them to pay up when they are legally obligated to do so. avoid at all costs. Hit by a Trexis insured driver on April 30th. Myself and the other driver were cordial with each other, exchanged insurance info and got a police report filed. Got home and called my insurance company. Then I Google "Trexis insurance reviews" and my stomach sank. Gotta admit, its very sketchy for an insurance company to have no social media presence in this day and age. I braced myself for a hassle, and accepted that I might have to file through my own insurance. But honestly, things with Trexis went fairly smooth. They sent me a link to a website through which to send photos of the damage. Within a week, the vehicle was declared a total loss, and the claim was forwarded to their total loss department. Made me a very fair offer. Minus one star because things were kinda drug out at this point, and I had to act as a go-between between Trexis and my loan company more than once to get things moving. Not sure on which end the miscommunication was happening, but somebody definitely dropped the ball more than once. But in the end, all was resolved. Finance company received the payoff on May 25th, and I received a check for the balance two days later. Not the smoothest of procedures, but far, far better than I'd feared. Calling it a win. Edit - I feel I should point out that I have a family member with a spare vehicle that I was able to borrow, so I didn't bother with trying to get a rental. That may have played into my positive experience. I actually taste them a zero but that's not an option. There client hits and totals out my car. The first delaying excuse was they had the wrong Vin number, even though it was clearly printed on the dashboard just like any other car The next excuse was they couldn't find my car. The only reason I found this out is the car place the note was with called me and said Trexis couldn't find the car that they towed four days prior. Finally they have me an offer I accepted. They said the check would be there in a few days... the next week the lowerEd the offer without an explanation. Threatened to report them to the Ohio insurance department and with a lawyer. Keep in mind every time I called Jeff lusk the adjuster it was either no answer or call back for days on in.. had to called his supervisor a dozen times just to get him (Chris chumlee) to do his job. Finally they called back and told me the original offer was valid. That was 2 weeks ago and still no payment to the car lot or me. I took it to the agent, who agreed to the seriousness of the damage. I then too it to a reputable body shop and the damage was close to $8,000. Trexis did NOT pay a single dime. Trexis is an awful company. I made a payment on 05/30/24 of almost 1000.00 I was told that my due date would change to the last day of every month. Seven days later I get a notice in the mail that they will cancel my insurance if I did not make a payment of almost 600.00 by 06/15/24. They say that yes I was advised of my due date changing to the last day of the month, but the system "glitched" so it did not change my due date and that I had to pay it. They are a fraud and do not keep their word. I wish I could give them 0 stars. read more

I have had Trexis for 12 months now with full coverage insurance on both vehicles. I had to make a comprehensive claim for hitting a deer with my car and it was totalled out because there was alot of damages done. They gave me 2 options: keep the car and they send me a responsible check and I keep the car OR take a payout and give them the car. I chose to give them the car. The payout was very reasonable and they were on it from day one. The rental vehicle was given to us immediately and everything was done quickly. I would highly recommend them. I think the other reviews of this company are not right. My reviews are honest, trustworthy and to the best of my knowledge. read more

SAVE YOURSELF! TREXIS IS A SCAM! Run from this company! I should have NEVER left my expensive insurance for this crap. This is what you get when you make shortcuts. This company promised that I would be set up for auto payments, and I absolutely was not. Therefore I had to pay what I paid initially with a more expensive insurance provider! They made some slick moves to ensure that my card would not be set up for auto pay. Therefore, I would have to pay the premium rates for terrible coverage. The company is not BBB accredited, and I didn't even look it up to see. I trusted Freeway auto insurance as a broker, and I absolutely should not have. Now I am locked into this, but will be absolutely leaving as soon as my policy is up! Everyone that works for this company has zero customer service, except for an underwriter named Marie. She is the only person who understands and tries to make anything right. Her team lead Virginia is a failure and should not be any type of lead for any company. They clearly don't care what their associates go through nor do they care to have to get on the phone and speak with a customer. Virginia did nothing to help me and absolutely did not care about the fact that her associates completely pulled the rug from underneath me to try to get this company more money. My parked vehicle was hit on 11/25)2022 and I didn't get the insurance info until the following Monday. When I called to file the claim I was on hold for 20 minutes the call dropped and had to call again and hold for another 20 minutes. The lady I spoke with wanted all sorts of information on the driver including did they have permission to drive the vehicle? How would I know if they had the other person's permission. I assume so since the person who hit my vehicle was a listed driver. Not my concern about any of the other person's actions etc except that they hit my vehicle. I did get a call from the adjustor, and honestly think they are pretty shady. He wanted me to get everything out of my vehicle so they could tow it and not pay for lot storage by the end of the next day. Rather than calling me back he sent me an email about rental information, which was received after the rental shops close. I sent an email on 11/29 early in the morning and now it's 5:24 pm and no reply back. I was on hold for the adjuster for 33 minutes before going to voicemail. I have dealt with multiple insurance companies but this one is taking the cake in levels of suck. At this point I am over it and if/ when they call back they will be sent to talk to my attorney. Lack of timely communication and updates is unacceptable when it comes to someone's assets and time, and they are messing with both of those read more

I offer only a "1" because zero is not an option. my son and daughter have insurance through this company and. my daughter had to file a claim. in December of 2022. this claim has yet to be paid. the car was totaled. The initial assessor claimed it was "Repairable" in December the car was taken to a automotive repair, where they stated it was totalled. Trexis told them to fix the mechanical problems, ignoring the professional advice. so they did. Then the car went to the body shop for repair. Again, another reputable company told Trexis, this car is totaled. Again, Trexis wanted more...? Trexis required the body shop to pull off multiple parts. so, they did again proving the car was totaled . And yet again Trexis denied that possiblity. Trexis then required them to put the vehicle on some frame measuring device. Totaled yet again. meanwhile somewhere in the middle of all this, my daughter passed away unexpectedly in June of 2023. Post death, I took over communications with this insurance company. after about 30 emails, 40-60 phone calls, and the encouragement of my insirance agent, Trexis finally agreed sometime in January of 2024 (!!!) that indeed it was totaled. They sent a paper to relase the car from the lot, which they wanted signed immediately. We of course did what was requested, promptly. Meanwhile my son had been making car payments on time through all of this. It is a very nice Lexus, and a very handsome payment. Everything Trexis has requested was provided within the same day or ine day following the multiple requests. Since her death, I am now her representative. Trexus tried to have my son pay for all the repairs that they erroneously ordered on a totaled vehicle. The amount theu initially offered was ridiculously low, and trying to have my son pay for their mistakes. After having to fight that decision, I then requested he be reimbursed for erroneous monthly insurance coverage charges. and have requested they pay the interest on the car loan that has been paid earnestly throughout the whole ordeal. This company was made aware of my daughters death almost a year ago now.and have put me through the wringer trying to avoid paying in this claim. To date...5/8/2024 we STILL HAVE NOT BEEN COMPENSATED. Trexis has made a horrific situation unbearable. Their lack of integrity, competency, and empathy has magnified our significant loss and they are playing every game in the world to avoid paying out what is legally due to us. In closing...I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY to anyone, anywhere, ever!! I rate their customer service "Heartless and cruel" i will give them Five stars for "Heartless and cruel."
