I have had Trexis for 12 months now with full coverage insurance on both vehicles. I had to make a comprehensive claim for hitting a deer with my car and it was totalled out because there was alot of damages done. They gave me 2 options: keep the car and they send me a responsible check and I keep the car OR take a payout and give them the car. I chose to give them the car. The payout was very reasonable and they were on it from day one. The rental vehicle was given to us immediately and everything was done quickly. I would highly recommend them. My husband was rear ended by an insured party of Trexis while at a stoplight. Accident was reported to police. Trexis sent out an adjuster. Their estimate came back at $492.00 which didn't even include the rear sensor which their adjuster is the one that pointed out to me. We took the vehicle in to 2 other body shops in which estimates came in at well over $4,000.00. so far Trexis is refusing to pay me for damages done to my vehicle. if I could give a NO STAR I would. September of this year my mom got into an accident from that moment until the very end it was HELL. First they sent us a tow truck and said the car broke down. the car was totaled!!! we couldn't find a shop thar would even take trexis insurance (never heard of them for one my mom was told by someone they were cheap and reasonable BIG MISTAKE! key word CHEAP) the tow guy took the car and it sat in their lot for 3 days because I HAD TO FIND A SHOP NOT THE ADJUSTER. I was having a hard time finding one plus me and my mom work very strict and hard jobs and never had the time to sit down and figure stuff out. but I found a place FINALLY. I called Trexis her name was RACHEL DURHAM. terrible human being. told her I found a place and got it towed there. once the car was there my work was done I just needed the shop and trexis to do their jobs right? lol no it was almost a month and I haven't heard from anyone yet and I had a gut feeling something was wrong...and I was right :) Rachel refused to pay the shop. the total was 8k plus 1k deductible. trexis sent a payment of like 3k and told us we had to pay the rest. told the shop and her I wasn't. I talked to the shop and they told us everything but had to wait until the owner was back. talked to Rachel and she told me that the shop worked on the car without permission and that when she sent someone to take pictures the car was half worked on. i was like okay so it's the shop fault. no it wasn't. I saw all the emails between the shop and Rachel and from my understanding the car was ready to be worked on. anyway what the insurance quoted wasnt what the shop quoted. Rachel called me and told me due to the situation she felt bad and wanted to cover our deductible of 1k I thanked her and told her I was on the way to talk to the owner of the shop bc I wasn't going to pay the rest. the owner talked to us and apologized for their end and took ownership which I respected so much. he told us he was going to take care of the remaining balance for the car. I called Rachel and for one you can never get a hold on her and when you do she acts like she can't hear you on the phone and then hangs up. and I've even tried my husbands phone and my moms and it does the same thing supposedly??? anyway I got a hold of her and she was already hatful bc I have called her so much. then I told her what happen and she acted like I just had killed her dog or something she was sooooo rude and mean and wouldn't let me talk. she said that she went through hoops to get us some sort of help to at least over decutiable of 1k. then said she was going to get her supervisor involved and sounded like Trexis wasn't going to pay anything at all. I beggged her and told her I would just pay it because we needed my moms car back. aftee I said that she acted normal again and it was like she never just went off on me. this lady had me in tears and caused so much emotional damage and stress on me. I suffer from anxiety and this lady made it so much worse for me. we paid the deductible and went on with our lives. my mom got a letter on the mail a few days ago from trexis saying that they got our request for cancellation Dec 11th was our last day with them and we never said we were gonna cancel they just did it out of hatred in their hearts. we were trying to wait until the holidays were out of the way to change insurance but they bet us to it I guess. we are now with progressive and I can bet you that we will NEVER go through this again . I offer only a "1" because zero is not an option. my son and daughter have insurance through this company and. my daughter had to file a claim. in December of 2022. this claim has yet to be paid. the car was totaled. The initial assessor claimed it was "Repairable" in December the car was taken to a automotive repair, where they stated it was totalled. Trexis told them to fix the mechanical problems, ignoring the professional advice. so they did. Then the car went to the body shop for repair. Again, another reputable company told Trexis, this car is totaled. Again, Trexis wanted more...? Trexis required the body shop to pull off multiple parts. so, they did again proving the car was totaled . And yet again Trexis denied that possiblity. Trexis then required them to put the vehicle on some frame measuring device. Totaled yet again. meanwhile somewhere in the middle of all this, my daughter passed away unexpectedly in June of 2023. Post death, I took over communications with this insurance company. after about 30 emails, 40-60 phone calls, and the encouragement of my insirance agent, Trexis finally agreed sometime in January of 2024 (!!!) that indeed it was totaled. They sent a paper to relase the car from the lot, which they wanted signed immediately. We of course did what was requested, promptly. Meanwhile my son had been making car payments on time through all of this. It is a very nice Lexus, and a very handsome payment. Everything Trexis has requested was provided within the same day or ine day following the multiple requests. Since her death, I am now her representative. Trexus tried to have my son pay for all the repairs that they erroneously ordered on a totaled vehicle. The amount theu initially offered was ridiculously low, and trying to have my son pay for their mistakes. After having to fight that decision, I then requested he be reimbursed for erroneous monthly insurance coverage charges. and have requested they pay the interest on the car loan that has been paid earnestly throughout the whole ordeal. This company was made aware of my daughters death almost a year ago now.and have put me through the wringer trying to avoid paying in this claim. To date...5/8/2024 we STILL HAVE NOT BEEN COMPENSATED. Trexis has made a horrific situation unbearable. Their lack of integrity, competency, and empathy has magnified our significant loss and they are playing every game in the world to avoid paying out what is legally due to us. In closing...I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY to anyone, anywhere, ever!! I rate their customer service "Heartless and cruel" i will give them Five stars for "Heartless and cruel." 12 weeks ago a woman hit my car and totaled it. She had Trexis insurance. I had never heard of it, and it worried me. I started working on my claim immediately. They never explained anything to me clearly, as far as the steps I should take to get my settlement. I have talked to so many of their people, and they don't seem to know what they are doing. She asked me if I had a copy of the police report and if I could send her a copy. I told her yes I had a copy and that I wouldn't be forwarding it to her b/c she was capable of going to get one. She stated she didn't have the capability to get the police report. SMH She flat out lied. She just didn't want to spend the companies money to get it. After the conversation she sent me a email stating without evidence they wouldn't be able to move forward and that I would be responsible to go get my car and pay any fees to the towing company. All the while she was a click away to get a report. My insurance agent was happy and willing to forward them a copy to get the ball rolling. A few days later I get a call from a rep name Jeff. He told me what they would pay me for my loss and I would have to fill out some papers and mail them the title. He called me back to also inform me that I only had two days left in the rental that they are paying for. This insurance only covers for 7 days! I asked him why were they only paying for 7 days and they haven't even sent me a check!! He proceeded to say he doesn't make the rules or come up with the policy and he only works there. Well looking at this one in a half rating I see why I have received the type of customer service that I have received. First off they are the hardest company to get ahold of when you are calling in regards to having your car repaired because you were hit by the person they insure.You leave multiple messages and don't get a call back for days and sometimes not at all. When you call Ed times you have to hold on the line for almost 30 minutes just to be sent to someone's voicemail whom doesn't call you back then you're back on the phone again the next morning calling and calling till you get some random person that states if they're gonna pass the message on, their customer service absolutely sucks. I had to reach out to them as to why it was taking so long to get my vehicle fixed for them just to tell me that they had not gotten a hold of their client yet you mean to tell me after 2 1/2 months you're still waiting on that person to respond or admit to the accident you have to be kidding. Now that it's time to get my car fixed and get a rental I'm getting the runaround they don't want to have to pay for the things that need to be fixed on the car in which their client hit my car. A drunk driver hit me about a month ago. He did not have any insurance I found out. I have called the Traxxas claims line over and over and over you have to hold on hold on hold and finally it comes on with a recording to leave a message I have left a message over and over the first two times somebody did call me back and told me the other person did not have insurance which I knew. The message I left which they didn't answer is what number do I call to find out if an adjuster has seen my vehicle and if it's totaled or not. I do have an attorney he gave me another number and of course that person didn't answer and there was no way to leave a voicemail their customer service is so horrible. 53days without my truck..*One star is to many for Trexis insurance. Had to Filed a third party claim. Should not been a big deal.i was hit on 1lane Rd when other guys breaks went out. He hit driverside my tire taking most of the impact breaking my tie rod and there's some dints and dings in my front fender and bumper.... Well get my vehicle towed to Magness Toyota in AR same day as Papaw visitation. (I been help take care of elderly grandparents well Papaw passed away so helping w funeral) I called Trexis letting them know it had been towed the name of the shop and their phone number I also said due to the visitation I hadn't got trexis estimate to Magness. *Patrick the guy I talked to said not to worry about it he would send it over you know I had all this going on and I'd give him all the information not a problem he'd get their estimate to Magness. Get a call of a week later from the shop they still haven't got the estimate so I called Trexis couple times did get through, then voicemail couple days later I talked to Magness they still hadn't got it it's an email with no response to TREXIS and then I believe I sent another email and copied Magness Toyota in on it so they could all communicate even though I'd give him the phone number and stuff to him before. And I think I worked out Toyota shop is done with my truck they're just waiting on a truck a check from Trexis talk to Trexis "they send it out yesterday it was close to the weekend so I figured Monday Tuesday I should be able to get my truck back just in time to start a new Job... (I asked about Rental. Telling them I browed my mom's old Tahoe just so me and my daughter wouldn't be stuck 5 miles and I can't afford gas. I was so yes I could get me a rental and I asked about a truck or something that set up due to the back I live down to the road. He told me they could only get a little car and it might be better if he just compensates me for my gas @ $25 a day thinking I was only going to have to have the Tahoe for a week so longer I agreed.) Now my truck was gone for 53 days from date of tow to day I got a ride to pick it up.. Trexis sent the check to New Jersey I live in Arkansas. It took them over a month to cancel the check and reissue another check Trexis only paid me $180 loss of use of my vehicle which should equal what it would cost to rent my truck they said that would be 3 days worth at $60 a day (how long the shop should have had my vehicle is all they are going to pay) they had my vehicle for 53 days. I couldn't start my job. Loss $650 a week still haven't looking for another one Job (that will work with me having my daughter and helping w my grandma * I don't have to spend as much time with her as I did helping my grandpa./ my daughter's Wi-Fi is turned off / electricity has been turned off/ Tahoe broke down was stuck for weeks with no way to get anywhere. one day I had to walk almost 5 mi to town well guy that lives a couple miles away pick me up walking down the road take me to town. Never seen any of the $25 for gas. I sent probably over 15 - 20;emails with no responses. Left voicemails I didn't get called back on trying to figure out why my truck at this point was still in the shop and they hadn't got their check we had no clue finally Trexis did not contact me but called Toyota shop and told them that they sent it to the wrong place. And the Toyota just did the mechanic work for the tie rods didn't do any of the cosmetic they don't do it there so I still have to get the body work done on my vehicle.
