HONEST & KNOWLEDGEABLE - My husband and I were both extremely impressed by the consultation we had with Tri City Air. Chris provided an abundance of expert knowledge regarding our system and the mild issues we were experiencing. But, what was most impressive was that he didn't try to con us into fixing "issues" ($$$) we didn't really have. Just to let you know how far above and beyond Tri-City goes for their customers, my husband and I completely remodeled the rental and part of it was to have Chris and his team install a new heating and air unit. It was going to take several days for the new system to arrive after the old one was removed. Chris offered the use of his home space heater during that time. The temperatures dropped very low and we would have frozen in the house if it weren't for that heater. It was not something I would expect a company to do for a customer. Had a few different companies quote my job. I chose Chris at TRI CITY AIR because he seemed to be the most passionate and had the most knowledge about the job (He has been doing this since the 80's). Chris quoted me a fair price. During the job, Chris discovered he could not access some ducts, so he lowered the price a bit (I had a complete system replacement including duct-work). I also chose TRI-CITY because when I call or text, its THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY (Chris) not some comfort specialist putting you on hold! It took Chris about 5 to 6 days to complete the job while other places said it would take a day and a half. We purchased our home in May 2018 we went through the summer with a not so great experiance with a few AC repair companies. However they all said we needed to add an additional return to support the 4 ton condenser we have. Weather was cold so I called these guys and they were at my house in a couple hours. Eddie was super professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Within a short time Eddie figured out the problem and had to replace 3 parts that had failed. He had the parts in the truck, replaced them in about an hour, tested the heater and he was done. Quick response for a house call, quick diagnosis, friendly, even gregarious. 2hr minimum @ $75 an hour plus $60 to diagnose even if the diagnosis only takes 5 minutes and installation 10 minutes and 20 minutes portal to portal travel time. Total one hour. Add to that a 3 or 400% markup on parts & I'm not sure it's such a great deal. His charming personality isn't worth all that. Probably as much or more than my CPA or Doctor charges me. Appears like about $350 an hour. read more

I have a newborn and being a very new mom and a little paranoid i called tri-city 15 minutes before they closed. The owner took time to walk me through what steps I needed to do to defrost the air conditioning coil until he was able to send someone out first thing in the morning. Chris and his son Shane did a great job for me. They arrived early imagine that, very professional, diagnosed my nest thermostats issue within 5-10 mins and got my AC working shortly after that. They did not try to up sell me, add fees or just make up some BS like regretfully some "professionals" do to take advantage of their knowledge. Wanted to write a quick review for this company because they were so amazing. Had my AC fixed same day within a few hours of me calling. Price was great. Was not overcharged. My brother had checked out the AC unit before the repair man got there so we knew what had to be repaired. I was given a heads up text 30 mins before Chris, the repair man,got there. He left 2 brand new air filters and even gave my mother in law one since she was there to open the house. He even offered to come back and clean the unit for the buyers once we get the house sold. I called to get an estimate for a house call, they were by far the best price. They came out that same day (thank u) I believe my technician was named Eddie (I hope this is his name.) he was very friendly, knowledgeable, and he kept me posted on his arrival time so I didn't have to sit around waiting on when he was gonna come. Anyways he did a thorough check on my system and gave me a set price and fixed it that same day. Super happy with the punctuality and effectiveness, he even gave me tips on how to keep my system running better and what to look for in the future if I were to have the same problem. I called early Monday morning because our A/C had been out all weekend. I called 3 companies highly reviewed on yelp. Tri-City called back within the hour and scheduled a service call early Tuesday. They came out and diagnosed the problem. It was going to take a lot of work and he said they could get a temp fix that might last through July 4th, but he couldn't do the major work until after the holiday. He thought about it and said he'd rearrange that day's schedule so he could get our A/C back up and running before the holiday. They had it fixed and cooling our house by mid afternoon. He gave me a rough idea what the cost would be. Rough, only because he didn't yet know how much freon we'd need. His final cost was a little less than estimated.
