The bruise left from the nurse ripping off my tape so fast and rough
    Chriss C.

I've been here a few times about 6 months ago it took about 8 hours for my son to get seen for a bad cut on his foot. My visit Tuesday was pretty fast. I guess it depends on the severity of of each person that determines how fast you get seen. I took one star off because when the nurse was taking off my IV and all the tape she was so rough ripping my skin and I have a bruise on my arm from it. I had to tell her to stop and let me take it off! The dr that treated me got to the point and explained my procedure in a way that made me understand. Thanks to everyone who took care of me

Stacy tri city ER unprofessional harassment rude

This will become a 5 star review once Stacy is fired- takes mental health time- or goes through a handle with care customer service course. Because my experience from the first nurse to check me in- every nurse and doctor (even others in the ER was amazing this should be a great review all until Stacy decided to randomly attack me. My 2 year old swallowed a foreign object so we had to miss nap for an X-ray to make sure it wasn't stuck somewhere it shouldn't be. I was letting her walk around and run a bit (every nurse was smiling at us- I even asked a couple patients if we were bothering them because our other option is for me to hold her and contain her and have her scream. The doctors were happy to see her move- this was all good signs she was not in the danger we feared. The pleasant giggles and walking about seemed better for most. This woman yelled at me to put a mask on my daughter (just turned two last week) and demanded I sit. I said I'm sorry I wasn't bothering anyone and my options are as stated above. Holding her still seemed not to be the best idea...if you have toddlers you understand. She got security after she was rude to me and no one would give me her name. This is what upset me- if you did nothing wrong why can't I have your name? I asked her again on our way out knowing she wouldn't give it to me so I turned my phone on to record to show her bosses. Turns out that's illegal so it's turned my video off right away. Security again refused to give me her name and gave me a fake number to call and complain. When I called the hospital they said they spoke to security..turns out all the reported was that I video taped her. Why are they all covering for her? Clearly she was having a bad day and decided to take it out on me because the hospital gave me her name right away no problem. I work in customer service which can be very challenging and I can't imagine what goes on in an ER. But treat others respectfully especially when your in a Place where trauma is everywhere and you don't know what other people are going through. All I wanted was her name and I would have just called up Brian to let him know he needs to get this woman in line. Everyone else was great!

That alone made me feel cared for. I especially want to thank the nurse who received me this morning. I don't remember her name, but I will never forget her kindness. With her sense of humor and warmth, she eased my anxiety within minutes. In such a vulnerable moment, that kind of humanity makes all the difference. The medical team was professional, organized, and confident. Even in a highly technical environment filled with equipment, everything felt coordinated and reassuring. I felt safe the entire time. My procedure turned out better than expected, and I went home feeling peaceful and deeply grateful at 10:30 am Thank you for not only doing your job, but for doing it with empathy and heart. That is something that truly impacts patients and stays with them long after they leave I'm so grateful, thanks again all personal is amazing

During my visit, I experienced excessive wait times, poor communication, lack of follow-up, staff behavior. What was most concerning was lack of communication. I understand that hospitals can be busy and that healthcare professionals work under significant pressure. However, patients and families deserve clear communication, respect, and timely care. In my case, I had to wait 3 days for an MRI after that their wasn't a care plan to follow up. I had to advocate for myself for proper treatment. I am sharing this feedback not simply to complain, but in the hope that management will review these concerns and take steps to improve the patient experience. I would appreciate having someone from leadership contact me to discuss this matter further. Thank you for your attention.

First it took quite a while to get the appointment and the office was hard to reach. On both my visits, I waited over an hour to be seen even though I was there at my scheduled time. On my first visit I was told I would get 2 prescriptions for nsaids. I had to call multiple times to get it sent to my pharmacy and it took more than a week. On my second visit, I heard them go into the room with a patient who had arrived well after me even though I had waited over an hour. To be fair, when I stepped out of the room and mentioned that I was first, the Dr did finally see me first. I also needed an mri and it took quite a while to get one and it was by sharp Mary birch which is really inconveniently far from Oceanside. On that second visit, the Dr went over the results and offered a shot to my shoulder or a referral to an orthopedic Dr. I chose the orthopedic referral and after that he was very dismissive. I waited a few weeks and never received a referral. When I called back, they told me I just needed to pick a Dr and make an appointment. That is not how my insurance works, so I called my insurance and had them call the office to tell them how it works. I still never received a referral and now have to go to my primary care Dr to get that referral. I'm not sure if all of their offices are this disorganized and uninformed or if it's just this one, but I wouldn't go back. There were so many patients in so much more pain than me that had to wait like I did, their suffering was hard to see.

One thing I do not like is it took me 12 days to get my Neck X-Rays back, me while I waited in pain. I don't know what it is about Kaiser but good luck trying to get any pain meds, anti inflammatories OR anxiety meds out of this company. I have suffered with long term social anxiety for the last 12 years now. I asked my doc for some Xanax which I only take for emergencies and he gave me 3 pills of Aadvin instead and never would refill my script. To me, this is absolutely ridiculous, I am not some junkie, I'm a 50 year old man who suffers with this crap. I quit that doctor as I didn't like his bed side manner anyway and choose another doc. "Never got the anxiety meds I needed, but thank GOD for street pharmacists. Fast forward to a new doc. I went in for a severe neck pain, once again, 0 help from the docs for any pain medication. They have me taking OTC stuff that's not really helping. "Again, thank God for my street pharmacists". The thing that sucks is, I pay 1000's of dollars for insurance and still can't get the meds I need. I miss my old private doc practice, where I could tell my doc what works for me and he would prescribe it it he agreed, not this Red tape corporate BS where you pay premiums and get the crap you need. I can't wait for my company to switch insurances again.
