Dr, Chatwani and her staff are great! I've been going to her since 2007 and i always been treated nice. My family and my boyfriend go here as well. I switched to Tri-City Optometry after getting frustrated with Fremont Optometric Group. I'm so happy with the change! Dr. Chatwani is friendly and knowledgeable. I have quite poor eyesight and she took the time necessary to really understand and carefully diagnose my situation. She prescribed Varilux progressive lenses that are super and better than any of my previous prescriptions from Fremont Optometric. The staff here is so friendly that they create just a good energy coming into your appointment. But they are nowhere short from being professional. Dr Chatwani knows her profession, I used to go to see another eye doctor before her but he retired and in the limbo of finding a new one I ended up picking some random one by my house who gave me a prescription I couldn't even see in at close distances, I thought my sight might have just been getting worse, but when I transferred over to this optometry it was definitely a wrong prescription and Dr Chatwani paired me up with the right prescription lens. Since then shes been nothing but great. Guile is sooooo nice and extremely helpful! It could be overwhelming to find frames that you love when there is a huge selection, but she has an eye for frames. Not saying she forces glasses on you (hate places that force any product on you!) she simply goes off what you like and will give suggestions as to which you may also like or suggest a pair in general if you have nooo idea. She is so patient though, I have never had someone help me for so long and not once have I felt rushed, ever, by her. This last time I went in I was surprised how quickly I fell in love with two pairs of glasses but in the end I had to get the opinion of her because I completely trust her judgment. read more

Dr. Chatwani and her team are so nice to deal with. The place is nice and clean. Dr. Chatwani examed my eyes thoroughly and looked at all my previously used glasses. She gave me some solution for dry eyes to try out and my dry eye problems were cured soon afterwards. Her assistant (Gulie) explained to me everything in detail as well. I was recommended to go to Fremont Optometric Group but needed an appointment before one was available. I searched and found Tri-City Optometry off of Thornton Ave and I was so glad I did. I made an appointment and even though I was half an hour early they saw me right away, and started with everything from checking my eye health, to perfecting my eye prescription (contact and glasses). Dr. Rardin was the best eye doctor I have had because she was great to talk to and educated me on eye health. The great experience didn't end there. It was time to pick out my frames. In my experience I have just been told what corner I am relegated to picking out frames based on what my insurance will cover. And it was up to me to try on and pick out from there. I liked the way Gulie, the Dr.'s Assistant at Tri-City Optometry, did it differently. She made some great recommendations on frames and the different types of lenses and explained what I would be getting out of each option. After everything was said and done, I stayed and chatted with both Dr. Rardin and Gulie. I pay attention to customer service wherever I go and normally my experience is that I can't leave too soon. This time was not the case and if I didn't have other errands to attend to all day, I probably would have stayed longer. You and your whole family will be well taken care of at Tri-City Optometry and I strongly recommend to give them a try. That's all it will take to convince you too. read more

I don't wear glasses and never had a problem with my eyes. Recently, I have had trouble with blurry vision and tired eyes. I am a medical professional and met Dr. Chatwani who told me how important an eye exam is even when you've never needed glasses! So I made my way to her office and had all the tests done. I hadn't planned on buying new glasses since my prescription hadn't changed much but Guile was so helpful and knowledgeable and picked out glasses that were just right, I decided to buy new ones. Our daughter is using the CRT lenses. She puts them in at night, takes them out in the morning, and has 20-20 vision all day and night. It really works! Dr. Levin was really good at explaining the process and taking care of anything that comes up. Our daughter has had to wear glasses for quite some time but now she has perfect vision every day from using the CRT lenses. If you are interested we would recommend you call Tri-City Optometry. I had been a patient of Dr. Stella Levin for years...then she left her previous practice and I didn't know what happened to her! Then I found her at Tri-city Optometry! I was happy to have found her, and "followed" her to her current practice. There I was reunited with Dr. Levin, who has always given me the most outstanding service and care. It's my 1st time here. I received excellent service. Dr Chatwani is very friendly and want what's best/suitable for me and not try to make the most money out of me. She gave me options for my contact lens and gave me samples to try it at home so I can choose the one I feel most comfortable with. I have never been given samples to try at home at other places. Coming to this place is like walking into my living room. I am sooo happy I didn't look for another doctor when Mr Lususky left. This place ROCKS!! who looks forward to coming to the eye doctor??? I DO lol. The staff here are some of the nicest people I have ever met, and dr chatwani is straight up, honest and straight forward. she doesnt push those special coatings on you (like other offices) and gives honest answers to all of your questions. i had a problem with eye dryness and she suggested a little tweak to my vitamin regimen. Not only has the dryness gone away, i found out that the vitamins she suggested have plenty of other health benefits. The staff here are very accomadating and remember everyone by FIRST NAME. I just called to change the timing of my appt and they knew it was me by the sound of my voice (c'mon, cant it get any better???) I cannot say enough good things about this place. I've been a patient of Dr. Chatwani for at least 8 years (maybe longer), and now my whole family is a patient of hers. I wear glasses and my husband wears contacts (the children are near 20-20 so they're good for now). I love the diagnostic tools she uses to check my eyes (from glaucoma to peripheral to baseline prescription) because it gives me confidence that if something were wrong with my vision it would be caught quickly. Dr. Chatwani is warm and friendly. When she recognized that I would benefit from bifocals and I say 'no way' she backed off. When she mentioned it the following year she just showed me what the difference could be, no pressure (altho' the difference was so amazing I went with it). I love their selection of frames, but even more I love the annual Open House she holds each year to appreciate her customers. Several vendors bring in frames not normally carried in the showroom, which I love so I can pick out something unique and trendy. read more

Dr Chatwani is an amazing optometrist! She has the expertise and demonstrates so much compassion for others! One of the area she specializes in is scleral lenses for Keratoconus patients and we have had only good experiences as we go through this complicated process. Dr C is so thorough and takes the time to explain the most complicated issues in a very simple manner. She is friendly and caring and my young children love coming here! Her staff is amazing too. The technician fixed the frame in like 5 minutes and did not charge me at all even thought I am not ac existing customer!
