I hate to do this, but one star was really my experience. I tried calling this place SO many times (during open hours) to schedule an appointment. When I finally reached someone, their next available appointment was 1 month out - not great, but I took it anyway - I'm in pain. My appt was on a Monday. That previous Friday they called me while I was at work to let me know they ran my insurance, their office wasn't covered, so they're canceling my upcoming Monday appointment. By the time I got to the voicemail and called back, no answer again. Then Monday came around, my original appointment time passed and then they called me back to let me know "they re-ran my insurance and apologies for the mistake, but their office is covered so please call back to reschedule". I'm really sorry, but no. Out of principle, I'll take my tech salary/insurance somewhere else. I feel like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, "big mistake". I'm about to put a bunch of money down for my healthcare - whatever is needed, and something like this shows me that customer care is not your forte. read more

Had several physical therapy sessions here for my Carpal tunnel issue (work ergonomics). Once you get in with your first appointment (long wait times), it's all great from there. Ask your doctor not to send your referral here. Very unprofessional. I received my doctor's referral more than 2 weeks ago. I being trying to schedule my therapy and being calling several times, no one answer. I left several voicemails requesting a call back and haven't received a response yet. I can't imagine the service all together. I had to request my referral be send to a different office. So inconvenient. read more

I missed some appointments due to not feeling well. They still changed me $20 for not coming. I told the other patients what they did. They kicked me out! Threatened to call law enforcement on me. They didn't even give me any new exercises to do! DO NOT GO HERE!!! PERIOD!!! read more

We have been here 2 times on separate occasions. Today we were able to get in on the same day. The first time my daughter was injured, Vanessa the physical therapist gave us exercises to do at home. After a week she was feeling better. Today we went in for lateral tendonitis and a tight IT band. We received two stretches and four different exercises. My insurance sent me here because I didn't want to drive to Oakland for the other place they offered. I tried it out with all good hopes and was let down and ended up more injured than when I started which infuriates me because I came to tri-city PT for help. PT is a very individual experience so maybe it worked out for some people here, but not for me. The first visit seemed reasonably good. I requested the same therapist for my next visits, but somehow she left or was unavailable. The therapist I had for my second and third visits was nice but not effective, seeings how I was injured from both visits. As I've done previously in my life, I reported back to the therapist that I had a painful injury after my second visit presumably from doing my assigned exercises. I suppose that a clue for me should have been that she didn't seem to care or be interested in what the injury was. Since I had received no therapy beyond showing me exercises at my first and second appointment, I asked if she would be using ultrasound or electrical stimulation or doing anything other than showing me exercises. The therapist said no, that they "didn't believe" that those provided any benefit. Strange, I wondered to myself about all the PT I had at other places which had used it and about the scientific evidence. Well okay, maybe no treatment modalities should have been another clue. I did the exercises and went home. After sitting, when I went to stand up, something in my knee gave me horrible scary pain in a new place I wasn't familiar with. Oh shit, a new injury, what I hoped to avoid. I experimented with where the pain was and how I could use my leg, got some ice and a brace. When I looked at the exercise paper to find the phone number and call tri-city right away to let the therapist know, I saw she was not a licensed physical therapist! Oh no! That explains why she had me do more of the exercise I told her hurt. Why did I follow her instruction? I thought I was working with a licensed therapist at a professional facility that my doctor sent me to! I called her and got no help. She told me not to do any more exercises and I repeated that I can't even walk, so asked her "why would you think I would do more exercises--I'm telling you I'm injured." Maybe someone was listening to her phone call because she kept repeating herself and not providing any expected responses. I got no help, I am still recovering from my first injury and now I have a new injury. I will not return. read more

Really friendly and personable staff. The therapists and staff really go out of their way to build good solid rapport with the client's and I appreciate it. Seven years ago I had a major car accident that not only completely changed life as I knew but completely changed me as well. I had to learn how to use my body all over as if I were just born again. I thought the day would never come that I could return to work and live a normal life again but with the help of the awesome therapists here my body is nearing 100% again. THANK YOU TRI-CITY!!! I have severe arthritis and tendinitis in my handsand arms. A great deal of pain. My therapist Kinjal is just fabulous!!!!! She gives me gentle exercises to help my hands, wrists and arms. She also massage my hands and arms. Her Aide Angelica is awesome and assists in different exercises. I truly feel supported and cared for. Thank you!!!!! read more

I was reached out to by the owner of the company to inquire about my experience, which I completely appreciated. I provided the information, my contact info & as much information about the therapist as I could remember, considering I was seen there more than 3 years ago. My therapist is not one that is currently listed on the site, however she indicated that they also use contract people. I firmly stand by my experience & strongly resent being requested to "do something" about my review on yelp since my review was the only negative one. Recent experiences look great, but I assure you that mine was not. Being offered "private home sessions" or opportunities to meet-up for coffee, while receiving a massage service is highly inappropriate. I am a member of Nextdoor Ardenwood. Received a post mentioning the convenient service, flexible hours, come to home if needed. Called once, no answer. Call twice, no answer. Decided to leave third message stating a Yelp review said they had poor customer service. Got a call back later that day. Tried to hard sell me standard page. 100 evaluation and 80 per session. No breaks for seniors since seniors only use the facilities for 15 min each time. Wow what a deviation from the post --- Ardenwwod residents be aware of this ripoff. read more

My husband was referred here after having knee surgery. Front office loses information and forgets to make notes of things. Some therapist just tell you to do an exercise without explaining how to do it then scold you when not doing it properly. Didn't explain therapy plan/didn't have one. Therapist are multitasking and have multiple patients at a time. Basically they just seem to be going through the motions with out any actual therapy or plan. Not worth going here. read more

Went to physical therapy through a recommendation from a coworker, and Kokila was extremely knowledgeable, detail oriented, positive/uplifting, and treated me with urgency and care; she took the time to educate me on my injury, answered all my silly/repetitive questions, provided recommendations to other back specialists for a second opinion, and advice on certain movements to avoid. I would recommend my friends, family, and coworkers to her for sure! read more

I was referred by my doctor to Tri City Physical Therapy for my Lower back. I called to make a appointment and spoke with Rebecca a very nice and helpful receptionist. Vanessa a physical therapist came out and had me follow her to the treatment room. She explained to me the plans for my therapy. I was so impressed with the questions she asked me and the way she explained the process, that I asked to have Vanessa to do all my 12 physical therapy sessions. I really like Tri-City P.T. My therapist Eric was top notch and all staff members including the receptionist are friendly and helpful. Place isn't fancy, but they have everything they need and I always get a lot of hands-on attention and instruction. It's super convenient too since it's near my home. I have back disc degenerating with scoliosis and back pains. Treatment with them for 3 mos , they taught me back care to proper core excercise. My therapist hazel is very knowledge of the conditions I have, extremely patient to answer my question and coached my core workout . I'm almost pain free now after my gym workout. read more

I have been going to Tri City for at least 10 years, not on a regular basis, but after each flare up. I've had 5 operations and 3 of them in the last year, Back (2) and right hip. I have osteopenia and very acute growing arthritis which eats your bones. It ate my right hip in 4 months. The therapists are so great and understanding and have so much patience and they are truly concerned about your well being and wanting to make you well. With all that has happened to me over the years they kept my spirits up and didn't let me give up and the most recent thing that has occured is the fracturing of my pelvis. I've had physical therapists come to the house after surgery but no one can compare to the therapists at Tri City. They are the best, tops and I wouldn't go anywhere else and I reccomend them so very highly and I know you would be very happy and get well with their help and consideration and patience. read more

After getting whiplash from a car accident, I was referred to this place by my workers comp doctor for 6 visits. The staff were all friendly and they treated me like I mattered. Hazel worked with me the most. There were a lot of great exercises and stretches she taught me. The massages and TENS unit are quite good. They really helped me get back to my old self again.
