You get to know your neighbors, the people taking care of things, and the little details that make everyday life comfortable. Those are the things I appreciate most about being here. The river is one of my favorite parts of the park. Being able to take a walk down to the water or just spend some time outside enjoying the surroundings means a lot to me. The green grass, shade trees, and birds in the morning make it a pleasant place to start the day. I enjoy seeing people out walking their dogs and stopping to visit with a neighbor along the way. There's a nice sense of community here. People are friendly, and you can enjoy a conversation while still having your own space and privacy. Having familiar faces around is one of the benefits of living here long term. It's comfortable, and I feel settled here. Josh and Casey deserve credit for the work they put into the park. Keeping a place like this running takes ongoing effort, and I appreciate seeing the grounds and facilities cared for. I also appreciate being able to talk with them and being treated like someone they know. That personal connection makes a difference when this is where you live every day. Dan and Tiffany have treated me well over the years, and I'm grateful for that. The way people treat you matters just as much as the setting and amenities, especially when you're choosing a place to call home. The practical things make life easier, too. Having two laundry rooms on site is convenient, and I appreciate the clean bathrooms and showers. The location makes getting out for errands or heading onto I-5 easy, while still letting me come home and enjoy time by the river. Mostly, I'm thankful to have a place where I enjoy my surroundings and feel comfortable with the people around me. Rivers West has been that place for me for years, and I'm glad I ended up here.

There are two laundry rooms, as well as clean and convenient showers and bathrooms. The manager, Josh, and the maintenance manager, Casey, do an outstanding job of making residents feel welcome. They add a personal touch to their interactions with everyone who calls this park home, which really sets this place apart. Thorough background checks ensure a safe and friendly community, and even the overnight guests seem to leave with smiles on their faces based on what I've observed. For visitors, I highly recommend requesting spaces 1, 2, or 3. These spacious pull-through spots are perfect for larger rigs and are conveniently located closer to the boat ramp and beaches. As I always suggest, ask Josh for tips on the best fishing spots on the river. He's a great resource for finding hot spots for steelhead, salmon, and bass.

It was two queen bed... very spacious room with Refrigerator and microwave... they have nice Rose garden... big playing area for kids and beautiful mountain behind the property... no one can ever tell this place is over 100 years old... Where they are behind in these big hotels, Sam and his wife definitely makes up for it with they amazing customer service and knowledge for everything to do around Roseburg ... they truly made us feel like we were at home... Ohh and they have parking space for RVs and trucks. thanks we will be back next year...

The vibe was very 70's. Very simple, dated furniture in a carpeted room that didn't have much decor or ambience. Actually zero. The bathroom was also dated. Our saving grace is that the room was clean, and the shower was fine. The rooms are parallel to a busy street, so there's a lot of traffic noise. Opening our one window curtain had a view of older homes, and they could see right into us as we could see into their living room. For the price, it's okay. We will stay in Roseburg, next time we visit family who live in Winston.

The new & improved section was not finished, yet. Play area was closed. No horseshoe pits. The park is nice and has lots of green space to enjoy. Easy access to the river too. **BUT there is constant, LOUD noise from the hi-way, (think jake-breaks etc.) when you're trying to sleep. My husband thought our site would better than the last time we were here - yet it was so much worse. We had ZERO shade and tons of hi-way and frontage road noise. I couldn't wait to get home to get some sleep. Christy, the park manager is a kind, professional woman, who makes sure fellow campers are following the rules. We would never stay in this particular spot and would advise anyone against it. Perhaps when the new section is actually finished - we will return. See (hear) video.

The location of the flats is in the heart of Roseburg-- with eclectic and vibrant restaurants and shops surrounding it. Parking was extremely easy to find and the door to the flats was also so easy to find. Upon entering into the flats, you are greeted with a darling brick wall with framed photographs of the "Bell Sisters," whom the flats are named after. It was so fun to see the history of them-- it made the stay that much more special! We stayed in the "Minnie" flat and it was thoroughly exceptional. The kitchen/living room was much larger than I was expecting, with ample room to move around and enjoy the space. We couldn't decide if the bathroom or the bedroom were our favorite of the spaces-- with the most spectacular shower (or should I say shower room, considering how many shower heads there are). The sheets in the bedroom were to die for-- simply feeling like pure softness on your skin. What really made our stay feel so special and so romantic were the personal touches that the owners put on it-- including a heart on the bed with rose petals and a personal note, a lovely bottle of locally made wine that was chilling in the fridge, and delicious chocolates. Staying here on our wedding night made our entire day that much more special.
