I had previously enrolled in a three-month electrical program at another school, where I learned some concepts incorrectly. In this program at Baldwin Park, Mr. Naseiro taught me how to correct the mistakes from the previous school. In this program, I gained knowledge about residential, commercial, industrial, and motor controls wiring. I learned how to wire various systems and how to bend conduit. Most importantly, I learned about safety and personal protective equipment (PPE). As a result of this program, I obtained my Electrical Trainee Card and can now work in the field. Mr. Naseiro, counselor Ms. Razo, and the front office and financial aid staff have all been amazing in helping me with everything I needed. Thank you to everyone involved. Many of the other schools I looked into were charging well over $2,000, so this program stood out as a great option financially. However, after starting the program, I realized the value went far beyond the cost. Mrs. Villalobos is truly one of the best teachers I have ever had. I am currently a master's student, I have experience in the medical field, and I have been through a lot of schooling, so I do not say that lightly. Mrs. Villalobos is extremely knowledgeable about the healthcare field and brings a lot of real experience into the classroom. She is patient, supportive, and genuinely passionate about what she does. I came in with 0 knowledge on how to use tools or troubleshoot HVAC units. I got to work with 2 great instructors which were Mr. Jorge R. And Mr.Gonzalez , both great instructors with many years of experience in their respective fields. The classes were very fast usually lasting 7-8 hours on Saturdays and I believe 4 hours if you decide to take the weekday schedules. The office staff people are great as well and will help you with any questions or problems you encounter on your journey. Big shoutout to Cindy, Mr. G, and Jorge R. The meet is touted as 'the world's largest cross country invitational' I hate to admit this but based on the website, I thought it was going to be a complete madhouse but it was so well organized! There is a parking fee (paid on site and in cash) and a per person spectator fee (which you can pay online or in person). My review is two fold- a spectators view and a runners view: Spectator: You're in a huge stadium, and while you can only see the jumbotron, you're basically getting a birdeye view of the race because there are drones and cameras on the course. The sports announcer gives everyone in the arena a play by play so you aren't missing a thing. Runner: My son said the course was nice- a combination of asphalt and trail running. There was plenty of merch available and it wasn't too overpriced. The t-shirts are nice quality. Overall, this is one of the most organized invitationals I've been to. Well done!

Not the schools fault but just giving you my life update. While I live in Northridge! I give this place a 4 because and the only reason why I took away a star is because they told me the class was going to start feb 23rd, they pushed it back a week, and they gave us the wrong calendar and not the updated part of the calendar! This is the only reason why I give it a 4 and not a 5 I love how they have sections they have the hands on part to build a house, they have another section to teach you math, and the final part of life skills such as making a resume and mock interviews. They also have us go out to habit for humanity to get hands on experience work site which I appreciate and making great networking opportunities! It's the light skin dragon blasting off into the area which is foreign to me and gaining info to use before the AI or robots take over the planet.
