I kindly ask if I could come pickup the items where he begins to raise his voice and remind me he can't drive, asking me what world do I live in, etc. He then refused to let me get my items and said he was going to refund me. Not only was he super expensive but he lied to me. I had an extender put on my 1 karat diamond pendant that I've had for more than 40 years. The original box chain has never broken, I just wanted it to hang longer with a new piece of jewelry I'm wearing. I also needed a new lobster clasp on an anklet. The extender alone cost more than 125.00. When picking up my jewelry I asked if his work, et. was warranty and he replied it was. I didn't wear my jewelry out of the store I didn't put my necklace on until going to my uncle's celebration of life ceremony. I walked out of the shower and it fell to the floor. I looked at it and saw the spring clasp was missing. I took it back to the store the owner said yes the spring clasp is gone and proceeded to quote me 75.00 for repair. I was shocked and reminded him that he told me his work was under warrant. He chuckled and told me his work was under warranty as long as it's in his store and the minute I leave with it, it's no longer under warranty since he's not responsible for the merchandise in my possession. I told him that didn't make sense and 99.9% of jewelry, merchandise, stuff have some type of warranty and based on what he saying now, he intentionally misled and lied to me. He chuckled and said so hear this, if I let you drive my car and you have an accident do you expect my insurance company to pay to fix it and I said of course, your insurance would pay and if you had a deductible my insurance or myself would pay. He said that's not how I do my business and I'm not going to argue with you. I said, who's arguing I thought we were having a conversation. He said, ok I'll give that but that not how I operate and I told him he was upset because his analogy proved him wrong. He said no I don't work that way and laughed. Since I was th only customer in the store I let him know that he was shady and I should stopped when I saw his cases of knock off LV/Chanel purses and sunglasses with $300/$500 dollar price tags and people like him give bad vibes to customers trying to support people who look like themselves. I told him that he is a disgrace to honest entrepreneurs that should be trusted, because I'll think twice about giving my business to others that look like me in this area being a new resident because of his janky action.

John never oversaw the estate sale , took a 9,000 square foot house of Georgian style furniture, Grand Piano , beautiful custom made rugs , Grandfather Clocks , Dining Room , 4 Bedrooms of very nice quality furniture? lamps and paintings, Den, Living Room , Tea Parlor , Beautiful Large Antique Entrance Foyer.Furniture .Silver , China , Paintings ., so much more .. i had no idea it was going to be a huge flea market .. I was told to stay away during the sale .. everyone was so excited it went well they said .. His designer was thrilled ., John too .. well when the check came in the mail .. it devastated me .. I still am sick beyond measure .. Heartbroken .. I am sick , how could I be such a fool to trust this man ., The check was for $600 .. $600..!!! John tried to down play all of it . he didn't raise any arguments with the estate company in my defense .. He did nothing .. told me when we closed he would give me $10,000 to make up for it .. lol .. well long story short , he is no longer my realtor .. this estate sale happened less than a year ago .. $10,000 was a drop in the bucket .. my baby grand was worth $5,000 .. but John never gave me a penny ... i was left with an empty , ugly inside of was once a gorgeous Williamsburg Mansion .. He Completely dismissed me .. treated me with great disrespect .. I hope to find an awesome lawyer and sue him and his company .. no one selling their home should ever have this happen to them .. on top of this horrific estate sale I spent over $100,000.00 on my house , John said it needed to put on the market .. but I have had so much feedback that it was the biggest mistake ever to listen to him and his designer ... they painted over original murals .. painted everything stark white .. it's been awful ..
