Tri County Feed & Hardware had been located in the same spot on US-1 for 40 years. In 1998 they upgraded their store and built a new one next door to their previous location. For over 25 years Tri County has been owned by Veronica Nix. They have a warehouse that stocks over 14,000 items and they offer delivery service. Tri County sells hardware and care items and food for horses, dog, cats, and birds domesticated and wild. I was drawn in by their eclectic mix of statues and yard art signs outside. There is a giraffe, horse, and a motorcycle made out of tires. Inside the store is a little bit of everything. They have a wide variety of items to care for your animals friends. I think this is the first combination hardware/ animal care store I have ever come across. I love small businesses where you can easily get help and have your questions answered by knowledgeable people. Keep the mom and pop stores in business and shop the independent stores. read more

Tri-County Feed & Supply Gives Every One Super Service! How many stores do you know that answer the phone on the first 2-3 rings anymore? With an actual knowledgeable person to answer your questions! They're like a gigantic convenience store/garden supply & farm supply outlet. Friendly, welcoming, and the old Down South hospitality makes them a throw back to yesteryear. From Dog food to Feed and medications-almost everything can be found here, or they might even order it for you.. By far the best service I've ever received! They even carry out heavy items like salt, feed, and compost and load them carefully into your car or truck. I believe it is still family owned and operated. Give them a try -You'll Love Them! We're new to the Treasure Coast, learning how to fish like the locals, and heard of a "recipe" for chum that required a large bag of "animal chow". We were told we could get it at a feed store. Went into Tri-County Feed as they are the closest feed store to our house to explore a new-to-us store and see if we could buy the required feed. Customer service was horrible. They clearly did not want to sell us anything. The man at the counter was rude to my husband and another employee leered at me while talking to the man at the counter as though they were considering doing me bodily harm. We left. We ended up driving nearly half an hour to Tractor Supply, had excellent customer service, and were happy to spend our money there. Based on our experience we will never be customers at Tri-County Feed. read more

I love these guys. Always helpful. Not sure about the comment below saying an hour and half drive to tractor supply since there is one only 15 minutes away. They must have gone to some other tri county pet supply. Not this one which is great. Again super cool guys here. read more

Love this store and the people who work there. Very helpful staff and they are knowledgable about their products.

I have found them to be as accommodating as anybody could ever expect. They try to find what you want and often offer to bring in what they don't have. When they supplied me with some dog food and my dog's health changed so he was unable to eat it, they took it back with a smile and no hassle.
