Have called/ messages left/ texted repeatedly for maintenance due to the fact they are no longer working properly. Absolutely have heard nothing from them. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! Haired to fix air conditioner, was promised to be fixed last night or first thing this morning. Not only did they not come out last night, nor this morning with out a courtesy call, I called several times wondering when AC was being fixed, never got a return phone call. Not only did they fix the wrong AC, they over charged, they flat out lied about the timing of service just to cover their A$$es, they gave the worst customer service ever. They were extremely rude, Unprofessional and very disrespectful. I called Tri-Star today because my garage lost power. My garage door would not close and my hot water heater was off. John walked me through (on the phone) checking my fuses and my GFI outlets. I called on Friday before Memorial Day requesting a quote to have 3 outdoor lights installed outside my garage and two other fixtures replaced to match the new lights. John was kind and welcoming. He gave me a very fair quote and said the guys could be out the same day. When Hayden and his partner arrived 2-hours later they too were kind, polite, and professional. They explained everything in detail and completed the work quickly and extremely well. They left everything neat and clean once they were done. I told them then, if ever I need any other electrical work done I would call them in a heartbeat. Ironically, they had completed work for one of my neighbors a few years ago and thought she told me about them, she hadn't I actually took a chance and called them based on their reviews. What a pleasant experience it was to work with John and his amazing staff. I needed electrical run to my outdoor BBQ so I was referred to Tri-Star. I've been a customer of Tri-Star Electric for the past 20 years. They have installed lights on my basketball court, low voltage lighting outside my home, a whole house fan,surround sound, rewired and changed out all my sockets and light switches with rocker switches/dimmers, a new hot water heater, installed ceiling fans, and most recently a SuperCharger for my 2013 Tesla, all-electric vehicle. I have never had an issue but I have called them several times with questions that had nothing to do with any work they've done, and their office staff is the best. Always kind, courteous and takes time to answer, even when they're not charging! How refreshing!! John Sclifo and his crew are great. When they leave, you'd never know they had been there, all debris is gone, my carpet vacuumed and floors swept, and the job is 100% working correctly and looks fantastic. Their prices are quite reasonable, and much cheaper than trying to do it yourself, screwing it up and then having to pay to have it done the right way!!! In January 2016 we had our entire electrical panel catch fire here at my business. I contacted Tri-Star Electric to come and give me a quote. Not only was the quote very good and within reason of the work that would be involved to replace the entire electrical system but the work was done within a month. They also arranged to have a generator brought in and wired to our building so we would not loose one day of business.His employees were very courteous and respectful. The electricians from Tri-Star just left my home. They were fantastic. I've used Tri-Star a few years ago on a recommendation from a co-worker to replace all of the smoke detectors in my home, and was pleased then as well. I called this morning at 7:30 to have them replace a smoke detector which must have gone bad because I was awakened at 3 am to the alarm, not the chirping. So, I was a tad bit rattled by the time I called their office. I was amazed that 1) they could come the same day and 2) was surprised that they were able to add a separate circuit for the refrigerator in my garage. today too. The guys were nice, personable, knew their stuff, and left their work area the way they found it...To me, that was amazing since I have a rather full garage and had no time to clear the area...AND, they are are reasonably priced.I have recommended them to friends before, and I will again...you will not be disappointed using Tri-Star :) read more
