I am very glad I called Power Pros Electric to replace an outdated ceiling fan and install a new one in my husband's office for a surprise Father's Day gift. Cuyler drilled a hole in the middle of the ceiling, put in a heavy-duty brace and a fan-rated electrical box between the ceiling joists, tapped into the wiring for the nearby smoke/fire alarm, and hung the new fan. We simply control all of the ceiling fan's features with its remote. Voila! About two years ago, I had DSE install a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage for charging my Tesla. Shortly after the installation, my car would reduce the amperage from 32 to 16 amps with a warning that the outlet was too hot. I called DSE and had them check the outlet. The technician saw no problem and even replaced the outlet. The problem persisted. After extensive research, I realized that DSE had used an outlet that is not recommended for EV charging (Leviton). When I called DSE to confirm this, I was told that the industrial-grade outlet was too expensive. So, they always use the cheaper option. The difference in price is $8 versus $90. I was charged $400 for the installation. Why not use the industrial-grade outlet even if they pass the cost on to the customer? If they had charged me $500, I would have gladly paid it for peace of mind. Knowing that the job was done correctly. I offered to buy the correct outlet and have them install it. I was quoted $169 which I would pay to have the proper equipment. Then DSE suggested I purchase a wall charger and have them install it for $300. When I asked for a discount, I was told the price included a discount. Summary: Ask DSE to install a NEMA 14-50 to charge my EV. DSE installed an inferior product. Cost:$400 Purchased the correct product and asked DSE to install it. Cost: $90 (correct outlet) $169 (to install) Invested $490 so far without installation. $659 with installation. Advised by DSE to purchase a $400 (at minimum) wall charger and have them install it for $300. IF DSE installs the new outlet, I spend $659 to correct a problem they created. IF I follow their advice and purchase a wall charger, I spend $1200 to correct a problem they created. Do what you will with this information. They appear to be really backed up on their ev installations. We were quoted a potential 6 weeks to install. Now it's going to end up being around 4-5 months to get installed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We have a beautiful ev car just sitting in our driveway. We don't have time to sit at the local ev charger for 1.5 hrs every other day to charge it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And it costs $70 to charge there each time too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We have a far commute. It's an unusable car for us at this point.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everyone we have spoken to have said this is not a normal installation turn around time. :( read more

Chris and mike were awesome! Quick, respectful, honest, and most importantly did a stellar job. We added three Smart enabled ceiling fans and also updated our dining room light fixture. They also swapped out the whole boob light fixture in our master closet. Our house is fairly newer so we just wanted to make things a little less builder grade. If your looking too refresh and update fixture go with these guys id highly recommend it.
