The reason for this: great prices. I was really impressed with the variety of home goods available and the prices being so reasonable. The customer service was mixed - I had a few bad experiences asking for the location of items, as the store is so big, and the organization doesn't necessarily make sense. However, there were some employees whose helpfulness made up for the few bad experiences (thanks, Dakota!). From pet food and care items, to home organization/storage, to cleaning supplies, paint, gardening/outdoor, and everything in between - do yourself a favor and check out this Menards. I will definitely be returning for my home needs.

Great deal on soil from compost, good deal on bulbs for Fall planting, and I got help to replace a toilet seat. Turns out there are only two common shapes for toilet seats, and replacing a broken one isn't hard at all. I did it without even a You-Tube video, but I did get a helpful Ace Hardware worker. Plenty of parking.

This location is not close to me at all, it takes almost 30 minutes to get here while a Menards is five minutes from my home. BUT, as much as I love Menards I save bigger money at Harbor Freight on items that are of similar quality elsewhere. So, in the end, it's worth it to me to save up a list and make a trip once in a while. What exactly have I saved on at Harbor Freight? Loads! Tarps of all sizes and sturdiness, safety goggles, gloves, clamps, glue sticks, filter masks, chairs, tools, bungee's, power cables and phone charging cords, flashlights, handcarts and more. I love it here! Harbor Freight may not have the highest quality items but they are comparable to the store name brands at other hardware locations. For the budget savvy homeowner, Harbor Freight can be your best pal. Consider signing up for the loyalty program - sometimes those savings are better than the coupons you'll find online or in mailers.

He sent another associate to help me, and she provided some of the worst customer service I've experienced. She made me feel like I was inconveniencing her by asking for the part and told me I should have waited for a confirmation email before coming in. I understand that businesses have procedures, but there were more employees than customers in the store--only about four customers total--so there was no reason for such poor customer service. A simple explanation delivered with a positive attitude would have made all the difference. I chose to pay more for the part specifically because I wanted to support a local business instead of ordering it online. Instead, I left feeling like I was treated as a nuisance rather than a customer. After reading many of the other reviews, I can understand why people have had similar experiences. Unfortunately, I won't be returning, and I can't recommend this business based on the way I was treated

Cinnamon rolls, pizza were sold out.(1pm) I wanted to pay cash, but noticed after ordering upon the kiosk that bringing the receipt to the counter to pay with cash wasn't an option so I used my card. It'd be really nice is there was a tray concept by the front end of the stores eating area, even tho it's a short distance. It's a lot to carry 5 hot dogs in two hands, with drinks and chips, and that's if you even have both hands available. I noticed that the dining area was lacking attention. So I have some suggestions * have a self serve wipe bucket or spray+wipes accessible for guests to take wipe down table incase employee isn't available. * It'd be nice if the hotdog wrapper were a bit larger so that it's could actually be wrapped so that there's no worry about condiments slipping out of the sides onto clothes. Froyo, and cookies are always promising.

Another thing I like is that there's usually someone in each department that you can ask for help. I think they have a nice selection of most of the basic items.
