Molly Reynolds was a huge help in assisting me in purchasing a necklace for my wife's birthday…read more She was able to show me various necklaces all within the price range I was looking for. Molly was patient and worked with me on the making the right purchase. My wife loved her present. Saxon's Aberdeen is where I go to purchase jewelry and Molly is the one I lean on to help me in choosing the right piece.

I truly can't say enough good things about this establishment. My fiancé and I went in to "just…read morelook" (yeah right, ladies). We had planned on looking around, trying things on, and purchasing something online thinking it would be the cheaper option. Cara was our sales associate and was incredible from the start. We learned SO much. We were able to compare size and clarity of diamonds, find out my CORRECT ring size (we would have ordered way too big), and try on styles that i wasn't even considering. I was a little nervous going in because I'd never really shopped for expensive jewelry before.. I never felt an ounce of pressure from Cara, she made me feel so comfortable and confident in my choices. It was truly like I was just shopping with a friend who actually knew about engagement rings lol. I can't wait to go back and see her and chat about wedding bands. If you're feeling totally clueless about where to start, start at Saxon's in Aberdeen and it'll be your last stop I promise. Thanks again, Cara, you rock!

So excited when I saw this store was re-opened! They had gone out of business at the White Marsh…read moremall location last fall. Apparently they decided to close the Towson store instead I did grab some amazing deals at that time (so I got a jump on buying some of this year's special occasion gifts). The holiday display caught my eye & the prices listed at $3.99 each with engraving. I always get my kids each an ornament engraved & dated for each Christmas. I found several ornaments I liked but when I inquired about the price for engraving they said "1st word/letter=$10 & each letter thereafter was $3-$13 depending upon the word/symbol etc." Needless to say this years ornaments are being bought from a local artist who makes personalized Ches.Bay crab shells hand painted $15/ea and I met her last year & bought 2 and her work was incredible!! I'm going with the local artist for a few reasons 1. Support local business, 2. Her quality, price & professionalism can't be beat! Things Remembered is still my go to store for certain engravable items however the cost of the engraving is beginning to outweigh their convenience, quality & service. I'm planning a trip back there for an after the holidays sale and hope they have a great sale and discount on engraving. If their engraving was a little cheaper, I definitely would have bought extra items for everyone & our oldest child's upcoming wedding next year. Cleanliness 5/5 Variety of items 5/5 Price 3/5(engraving especially $$$$) Friendly staff 3/5 -staff used to greet you when entering & offer to assist you, not my experience this time and store had 1 other customer beside myself Not handicap friendly 1/5 -items are too packed in store for anyone in wheelchair, knee roller or crutches and orthopedic boot like I had to move around comfortably. This should be addressed immediately. I'm going to still give 5 stars for the fact that 1. They have unique items available for personalization. 2. Can sign up online and get sale coupons and alerts for sales. 3. If you find item in store & want large quantity they can order for you and still personalize. 4. Prices range from inexpensive to very expensive (something to fit everyone's price range)

I contacted this location on both 6/29/2022 and 7/12/2022 to place an order. The employee that…read moreworks at this location was so incredibly rude and unhelpful, not only the first time I spoke with her but the SECOND time I spoke with her as well. It was such an unpleasant process, I will never be using this location again. She told me I should have gone to the website instead of placing my order on the phone. Not everyone has the ability to go to a website to order and this company will lose out on a lot of business if they keep treating their customers like this. I have never been treated so poorly.

I took a cuckoo clock here to get an estimate for repair. The clock worked but would occasionally…read morestop running so it likely just needed to be oiled or adjusted. An older gentleman took the clock and told me to come back in twenty minutes. Exactly twenty minutes later I went back to the store and I asked him what the story was. He took one look at me and the expensive handbag I carry and said "$450." I was shocked. I asked him what was wrong with the clock. He was unable to provide me with an explanation other than "the guts need to be replaced." This is not an antique clock that is a 100 years old. It is a German Hubert Herr clock that was purchased brand new, eight years ago. Anyone that works on clocks that knows what they are doing will be skilled in taking the clock apart and only replacing what is necessary. Because the clock was running and he failed to provide me with any sort of explanation as to what was wrong and why the price was $450, I felt he assessed me as a person who has unlimited means and therefore was likely to pay the $450 without further scrutiny. The clock cost $400 eight years ago, brand new, when I purchased it. For what he wanted to charge me I could purchase a brand new clock from Hubert Herr in Germany! Upon taking the clock back home, I did not see any signs of the dust on the clock top being very disturbed from handling and examination. I question whether this man even opened up the clock at all! He also did not remove the weights from the bags I had put them in, which tells me he did not hang up the clock and test it, either. The bottom line is that I felt this person saw this as an opportunity to take advantage of a woman and there is no way I would take anything to this business for repair!
