I was never measured but because I could fit the display 6, Lilly ordered a six. Too small. I then went back, still wasn't measured, ring still too small. THEN I go back on the day they said my ring would be ready. I have no email (because the person typed my email in wrong) but I have the receipt that says what day my ring would be ready. I go. The lady says she can't find it. I leave, sit in my car for a little bit, find the receipt and demand that she checks again. She magically finds it. Eye roll. And now, the ring is too big. I'm FINALLY measured. Finally. And they redo the ring again. It fits. Would not recommend or return to Smyth in Timonium for jewelry purchases.

I decided on a door hanger made of selenite and black tourmaline crystals. This offered protection, grounding, and balance. They also explained that selenite is a softer stone and to avoid getting it wet as water could break it down. Something I would've never known! I included that information with my gift. Thanks to the awesome staff for helping me with my purchase! They also had a spinning display with different cards. The one that said "Kind People Are The Best Kind Of People" really spoke to me, so I got that to include with my gift. I tried on tons of helmets and got great guidance on how to size. The staff is all very knowledgable and helpful and prices are competitive. My main complaint is that they go heavy on their private label and don't stick as much variety as I'd like in some categories. What it comes down to for me are the personal touches. The staff is just so friendly and eager to help. I never feel stupid or silly asking newbie questions like I do at other local shops. Also, since there is so much out there in the bike world, I'd call first to make sure they have what you want, especially if you have a drive to get to the shop. Unless you're going for clothes or helmets. They have a great selection of both. More niche and bike-specific gear might be a good idea to call ahead for. They'll also order things if you need!
