Cary (the owner) came in with the first of several estimates. Of the contractors I contacted, he best understood what I wanted. My house had rotting window frames, uneven bad-looking shake shingle siding that was long past the day I should have done something about it. A house down the street had the look I wanted, and Cary quoted me the price. I also asked about replacing my front and side doors. The siding color I wanted was a special order, so I had to wait a couple weeks for it to be made. It was well worth the wait. Lifetime supplied a brand called "Perfection" and it is truly perfect siding. The siding sections lock together in a way that I don't think even a hurricane would loosen them. All the rotted wood was replaced with Azek trim. The result is my 70-year-old run-down house now looks like a new build. The doors that leaked cold air during the winter are gone. I am very satisfied.

They came out and gave me an estimate where a competitor wanted to come out and do the work but wouldn't give me a ball park number first. Others didn't respond. The weather caused the appointment to be pushed multiple times (snow and high speed winds which is what caused the damage in the first place), but the work is done and the gutter appears very secure now. Pricing seemed reasonable for the time and materials used. They were friendly and open to various payment options. The estimate came slightly under the quote, (rounding distance so very slight) which is always nice. Notes: I know it's hard being a contractor and taking calls while working, but more prompt notifications about appointments being moved would be nice. Communication wasn't timely but I had the sense that there wasn't a home office fielding work, so I'm certainly more understanding. He came to our house we talked, we dropped our dream decided to just replace everything where it is. The only real change was removing the boxed in jetted tub and installing a free standing tub. The plumbing would only need treaking. The shower was staying where it was! He suggested opening up our door to make it ADA compliant, putting up,a barn door on the bedroom side. I asked how much that would cost he said don't worry I'll give allowances for all of it , He suggested making the shower,bigger by bumping it into our spare bedroom,. And there is more but , time. As he left he asked what we were thinking , I said under $30, 000 like you said, he called and said $40,000 !! I again asked if we could do demo, get our own faucets, vanity, tiles to keep cost down. They didn't let me know when they were done and left before checking a roof vent. Besroi also replaced gutters. Where I used to have two at the front of the house they changed to one, and now water doesn't properly drain. In the back yard they changed the direction of one of the gutters saying it would be better. It wasn't. I have standing water very close to the foundation of the house and now I have to pay to have a drainage system installed. The company doing the drainage said it was a direct result of the downspout direction and not being properly pitched. My calls to Besroi were not returned. I have lived here 35 years and never had this issue with water in these areas until they replaced/moved the gutters.

The second year, Besroi contracted verbally with my home contractor to complete the interior repairs. I paid the contractor and when he submitted an invoice for his services to Besroi, Besroi refused to pay it. After several attempts to be compensated I am leaving this review. Get any quote etc IN WRITING as Besroi does not honor their word.
