Daryl... you are the MAN! 25 years experience and it shows! I had an issue with with my front door lock sticking and it got worse. It got so bad that I had to lean against the door and pull up while turning key. Eventually the lock would start slipping and I could hear some grinding. I called Daryl at 8:30 pm and he actually picked up. He was at my house at 10am the next day and with 20 minutes my lock was fixed. The lock now opens with ease. I can't say enough good things about Tri Valley Locksmiths and specifically the owner, Daryl Dana. I managed to break the one and only key to our camper in the door lock the night before we were supposed to leave on a camping trip. Frantically I searched the Yellow Pages for a locksmith then checked for recommendations on Yelp. I called in the evening and Daryl answered right away. I explained my situation and he said rather than pay for a service call, if I came to his home in Pleasanton he could make me a new key for a lot less money. Locked out today for two hours (spent looking for a single house key on the lawn at the park). So glad Tri-Valley Locksmiths was available on a Sunday at 3 PM. The locksmith (I'm assuming it's Daryl, the owner?) came in FIFTEEEN minutes as promised. In fact, he was there before we could get back home from the park. Very amazed at such prompt service, especially nowadays, where it seems to take everyone who's making a house call 4 hours to get to you. We were in the house after 5 minutes, and the locksmith even replaced our lock and gave us 3 keys for only $10 more ($125 to break the lock -- ours had to be broken). I used Daryl for 3 different things in the last two weeks, and his service was excellent in all 3 instances. I needed a new key made for my 1985 Porsche that not even the dealer could help me with. Daryl got it done in five minutes. I have an antique display cabinet that I was unable to unlock. The lock was tricky, but Daryl finally managed to get it open after a lot of patience on his part. He was unable to make a key for this particular lock, but he located an almost exact duplicate the next day, so my problem was solved. Finally, he made a routine copy of a house key for me.
