The office management is very poor, I was scheduled for the surgery months out but they called me less than a week before the appointment and said that they had to cancel because they had not received information from my cardiologist they needed. After some begging on my part they agreed to keep the appointment if my cardiologist sent the info, which he said he already did but he sent it again immediately. When I arrived I was treated okay by the staff at first until I was in the chair. When the surgeons came in NEITHER ONE OF THEM SAID A WORD TO ME. Instead one of them grabbed my chin and pulled it up and back, applying painful pressure underneath my jaw. My attempts to say something to her was ignored and she held me there until the drugs kicked in. When I woke up I was already outside of the clinic being bundled into the car with my mouth stuffed with gauze. I waited for months only to be treated like this because of a mistake that the office manager had made!! I don't recommend this facility at all and I have let my dentist know about the treatment and hopefully they will stop referring patients there. Update!!! One year after getting my dentures I have to have a piece of tooth removed that was left in my gums!! I can't bite down on that side because it is too painful. I am reporting this to the medical board. This place needs to be closed down!! read more

Extremely friendly, accommodating, prompt surgery scheduling, and *empathetic*. The Practice Manager was very friendly and responsive. The surgeon's (Medical) Assistant was super friendly, professional and was super fast completing paperwork required by my employer for me to have the time off work approved. read more

Deceitful Practice- BEWARE I went to Triangle Implant Center in Cary and was given an estimate of the cost for an extraction. Based on the calculation of what insurance would pay as required I paid my share on that day. However, Triangle Implant Center requires that your credit card remains on file. When I questioned this policy I was told "In case insurance pays more than what we estimated and we need to issue a refund". The estimate given to me on that day did not disclose a consultation fee of $150. My insurance does not cover consultation fees. I knew this prior to my treatment and spoke to the office about it. I was told it wouldn't be billed as a consultation fee. After receiving payment from my insurance the office charged my credit card for the remaining balance of $30. Which means that based on the estimate that I was given the day of treatment I actually overpaid and was due a refund of $120. When I called the office and asked why the consultation fee wasn't disclosed on the day I was treated, I was told that "They thought that insurance would cover it". They knew upfront that my insurance wouldn't cover it for 3 reasons. 1- I told them prior to treatment 2- they have a contract with my insurance company and are fully aware of their policies 3- as part of their office procedures, they call the insurance company for prior authorization. BEWARE If you should decide to be treated by this office make sure they are disclosing all of their fees before your treatment. read more

Dr. Mueller at the Cary location removed my wisdom teeth about 2 weeks ago, and it was amazing! I was so nervous prior to the procedure but everyone in the office made me feel very comfortable, and even let me play my own music before they sedated me. As far as getting all 4 wisdom teeth removed goes, this was the best experience I could have asked for. read more

The location in Wilson, NC is horrible. My nephew's procedure is 2.5 hours long, and as his designated driver, I am not allowed to leave the facility, despite them having my cell phone # to call in case of emergency. They also did not let us know this before arriving for the appointment. Utterly ridiculous. Do not recommend at all! read more

I had all four wisdom teeth removed. The office staff was very nice, but I'm now 10 days post op and still have significant jaw pain. I've called the office twice. The first they told me to just keep taking Tylenol/Ibuprofen every 6 hours. The second call I waited on hold for 20 minutes for them to tell me that my surgeon was not in the office so they would have to call me back. Maybe this level of pain is normal, but they certainly did not do a good job of educating me on what to expect postop and seem to be unwilling/unable to help with sort of pain management plan. read more

First off no complaints on the care. However, dealing with insurance I learned a few things. I had to have a biopsy and was advised they do not bill Medicare but was told I could. Most dental insurance policy do not cover biopsy as its a medical procedure. Well all said and done I paid them $750 for the biopsy and submitted to Medicare myself. I come to find out all Medicare approves for this procedure is $116!! When I went in to have the procedure, I had to sign a form stating I was responsible for full payment and they do not have to accept what Medicare pays. I am not happy about this, to me they knew all that Medicare would pay is $116, so they will make a lot of money off the patient by opting not to bill Medicare. In my opinion this is taking advantage of the older generation that does not know, nor understand the insurance billing and payments. Word to the wise never use a medical office that opts out of Medicare! Lesson Learned. read more

Getting a dental implant is something where I'm not sure "I'm a fan" is EVER an accurate review, even if for some reason one wanted to knock a star off of a provider's rating, which I don't. No one WANTS to have a dental implant. It's an involved process, which also ALWAYS requires a "radical cash-ectomy." But if you have a tooth that can't be saved, and you have the resources to absorb the cost, Triangle Implant Center is the place to go. I am a dental work wuss, and the thought of "We're going to drill into the bone" gave me High Anxiety (TM Mel Brooks). But Dr. Reebeye is kind, calm, and gives the impression that he's done so many of these, that he could knock these out while asleep if he had to. I elected to have sedation, and he has an actual anesthesiologist on staff, which put me at ease as to who was going to be minding the store to make sure I woke up afterward. Having the implant took only about 45 minutes from the time I sat in the chair till I woke up. No pain, no problem. I didn't even need painkillers afterward. The process also involves a few follow-up visits to check how the bone is growing around the implant, and a final visit to place the healing abutment. For this, it's local anesthesia only, takes about five minutes, and is easy as pie. Now I go back to my dentist for the crown and we're done. I don't understand the poor reviews. Yes, you have to pay for the entire implant process up front. I don't have a problem with this. It is an expensive procedure and they don't do this for free. I found Dr. Reebeye to be very kind and thorough, and the staff and technicians to be courteous and understanding as well. I'm hoping not to need many more implants, if any, but if I do, this is where I'm going to go. Not the cheapest implant in the Triangle, I'm sure, but highly recommended for professionalism, courtesy, and quality of work. read more

How this place has 3 stars I can't even comprehend. I was recommend to come here by a friend that used to intern for TIC, and the amount of attention, care, and optimal treatment I was given is unparalleled. Also, their IV sedation drugs were pretty great. No weird laughing gas for me! I've gone in to this office twice now, and every time I am greeted with a warm smile, I never have to wait around very long, the offices are always very clean, and all of my questions have been answered without hesitation or fuss. I went in for an initial wisdom tooth extraction consultation and was so worried about being sedated or something going wrong, but Dr. Reebye and his assistants did not try to pressure me into anything I wasn't comfortable with. They really took their time to make me feel like I was making the best decision, and were extremely thorough in answering all of my worrisome questions. Dr. Reebye is a very humble yet confident surgeon, and assured me that my case would be very easy. Upon extraction day I was a MESS. I'm a bit of a hypochondriac, but as soon as I entered the surgical office and chatted with the anesthesiologists assistant I immediately felt much more calm. She told me everything she was doing, and even more than that was simply and genuinely joyful to be around. The anesthesiologist himself was super funny, and made me feel so comfortable up to the point to where I was lost in sedation land!!!! Apparently, I was just telling everyone how nice everyone was, and had a pretty great time The folks at TIC took all of my worries away (and the drugs I'm sure! Haha). I was in and out in 75 minutes, and felt very cared for. Even if my procedure hadn't have gone as swimmingly - just considering how nice everyone is at this office gives TIC 5 stars in my book. However, with the added level of proficiency, quality of service, and thoroughness this place definitely deserves more. read more

My son had to have all 4 wisdom teeth removed. On the day of the consultation we were told a price based on them talking to my insurance company a charge of 642.00. Day of surgery I'm told that I need to pay close to 1200.00. I paid. Procedure done in March, didn't file the claim until mid April. I have a credit from the insurance payment. They received payment in April. Every month Im told that I will receive my refund the following month. First it was May, then June I guess it will be July. read more

My experience here was terrible. To start I was given a quote for my wisdom teeth extraction, which I paid in full st the time of my surgery. A month later was sent a bill for $450 without even a phone call explaining the difference. More importantly than the finances was the care. At discharge I was given the incorrect script for pain medication which took hours to correct. I wasn't sent home with a syringe to flush and wasn't told I should get one. I had my surgery on a Tuesday and the pain was manageable. That weekend I had developed a dry socket. I did not know how to treat that or what that was so I called the emergency line due to the amount of pain I was in. I must have called a hundred times that weekend with no response. Monday I was finally contacted and advised that the office manager had a wedding that weekend and had forgotten to forward the phones. Had I been given a syringe as I should have been and had I been able to contact someone for direction on how to handle I wouldn't have been in the pain I was in all weekend. Over all very disappointed, if you have other options, go there. read more

But to call my oral surgeon's office where I've been established as a patient for at least a decade and the snit receptionist refuses to even tell him I called... no. Major broken tooth that has abscessed suddenly. Up all night in so much pain I couldn't believe it was happening. This is an emergency. She rudely states I must get a new referral from a general dentist. This is a continuation of what Dr. Uday Reebye has had to handle for me for years that comes as a result of a complex medical problem I have. He is a gracious amazing practitioner and I am just shocked. Miss Jessica would not even share with him that I'd called. Definitely have paid 5 figures out over there. I am on doxycycline for 3 more years due to the infection in my hardware from spinal surgery already. I need the thing extracted. If this was for something routine like wisdom teeth, fine. I get it. The Durham office has a policy that when patient is being sedated the driver must sit and wait the ENTIRE time Who does that! If anything happens either the "medical staff" in the office or EMS will take care of the patient NOT the driver waiting in the little space they call a waiting room with absolutely no decor or even attention to detail...the furniture doesn't match, chairs are on top of each other(no personal space whatsoever) and they even provide a password to use WiFi Clearly this office is all about getting the money as they pile patients in and asked their drivers to sit and wait 2 hours plus with nothing to do No WiFi little to no magazines no TV No coffee snacks or anything that says we care to try to provide you with any ounce of care read more

This review is for the Mebane location, owned by the same company. I just had the most astonishing (in a bad way) experience at this office. First, we were an emergency referral from our pediatric dentist because my 8 year old had an abscessed tooth. Then tell me to show up for surgery at 9:00am. First, the doctor at TIP sees him to describe his plans for anesthesia and the extraction. Then a woman from the front office comes INTO THE EXAMINATION ROOM (not a private office, not the checkout desk) and hands me the invoice. She then proceeds to tell me that I need to pay the entire thing before they will perform the procedure. Okay, so I hand her my debit card while my son sits in the examination chair waiting. Because I am self pay she tells me that I have to go to the ATM and get the CASH out and pay BEFORE my son will be seen, so the doctor will wait for me and my son to go do that. At this point I am asking myself, "Where am I? Is this some backwoods place that is asking for a secret cash handoff and taking my son to a dark back room?" I ask her, can't I just pay with my card? No. We are talking almost $1,000. There are limits to what I can get out of the atm in a single day. There is no Bank of America in Mebane, so this this means I would have to leave town. They want me to go do all of that and then come back for the procedure. I'm shaking my head over the whole thing at this point. It is clear that they do not trust their patients and the money is a primary concern. The office building is high-end and looks like a top facility. The doctors seem professional and seem to know their stuff. However, their front office process payment process and patient handling is antiquated and had zero sophistication to it at all. I ended up having to have my husband leave his work meeting to go to the bank and meet us at the center which is 30 mins away so that they could receive their cash before my son could be treated. I rarely write reviews and definitely have never had to write a negative review, but I am so furious at this point by the way I and my son have been treated in this whole process. They told me that this is the way they do things and have to do things due to the high cost nature of their services. When I went to my car the gal followed me outside to my car in the parking lot and asked me, "Is your husband coming from the bank?" (Seriously, you are going to follow me to my car? ) "Yes, he's on his way. Don't worry, you'll be paid." I'm sorry, but I can guarantee that there is a oral surgery office that has figured out how to maintain a sophisticated payment process that secures payment while not demeaning their patients or making them feel like the money is more important than the patient's care or well being. Triangle Implant Center Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery would be well served to hire a consultant to fix this process in their office to have the experience on the inside match what the building communicates on the outside. I will be speaking with the owner (whom they told me is Robin P). I will also be speaking to my dentist who referred me. But, for you, the reader of this review, if you are looking to be treated by this office, be prepared for something that goes a little like this... "if you sign up today and proceed with the recommended treatment you will get this TODAY ONLY special that goes away if you do not do it right now." This place should be investigated by the county and state. My wife called to verify they were "in-network" for our dental plan. She was told they were in network so she proceeded to schedule an appointment. After waiting for 2 weeks, we were heading to the car, when they called 30 minutes early to say they were ready for us. We arrived and was told the evaluation was going to be conducted. Post evaluation they take you to the finance office to take your "prepayment" of over $1500 on the spot. I began to question the costs and only then did they reveal they are NOT in-network for our plan. We were irate to say the least especially after waiting two weeks for an appointment and now left scrambling to find a new oral surgeon before our daughter goes away to school. There was no remorse expressed. If this is how they conduct themselves prior to a procedure, can you imagine post surgery conduct. They prey on the fact that you need the procedure before they disclose the fees and policies. Avoid this place at all costs! read more

Visiting the Triangle Implant Center was like getting upgraded to first class on a flight -without the free alcohol. On the other hand, airlines don't have IV sedation or nitrous oxide like TIC does, so that evens things out. I was having a tooth issue and I knew the next step was an implant. I dreaded the thought of going through the process as much as you are now. (Which is why you're reading reviews, right?) From the first call I knew this was the place for me. I called to compare pricing and I let the receptionist know that. After she had given me the information, she said, "You'll call back because we're the best." That lady spoke the truth on both counts -I did indeed call back and they were the best! Everyone there was very friendly. Not the "We want a good review" friendly, but the "We understand that this is causing you a lot of stress, pain, and money" attitude. It was genuine. They prepped me for about 20 minutes then Dr. Reebye came in around 9am. He was done by 10am. Yes, I am certain of those times. He had the kind of expertise you only get from doing a million or so of these. Rather than use IV sedation, I opted for a local anesthesia so I didn't have to inconvenience someone else to drive me there, stay with me, and then take me home. My previous implant doc didn't give me that option, it was IV sedation or nothing at all. After he installed the implant, he put a temporary crown over it so that I didn't have to be seen publicly with this gaping hole in my mouth every time I smiled. With my last doc, that wasn't an option either. Now that I've had Dr. Reebye do my implant, I realize that I was short-changed by my other implant doc. If you have to have an implant, THIS IS THE PLACE TO HAVE IT DONE. read more

Prior to coming in the office for an evaluation to have my wisdom teeth removed, I called in advance and provided my insurance information. I wanted to be sure I was covered and know what to anticipate on my visit. Generally the checkin process was going well until I was required to give my social security number. I'd read recently that doctors and hospitals should not require that information and that most offices no longer do so . After being told that even with insurance that I'd have to pay up front or provide my social security number I left the office. I realize that doctors need to ensure payments... I would have been comfortable having them place a hold on my credit card. In this day of data security breaches it's a shame that offices can ask for your information but not tell you how they secure your data. My concerns where increased when the office manager (Robyn Pettigrew) said, "we follow HIPPA"... I realize she doesn't really understand data security at all. Goldsboro Office Not impressed at all. I was failed to be aware that my insurance was out of network. No wonder my end of the payment was extremely high. Always research and talk with an insurance provider before agreeing to do surgery with ANY place. Use my mistake as an educational moment. In addition, do not listen to any medical advice that is OUT of the professional's practice. The dentist was not a sleep specialist, and suggested that I may have sleep apnea. I found that to be an odd statement, as that is not his/her area of practice. The case would have been different had effects been made on my teeth ( griding on teeth, sore throat, etc) to rather indicate signs of sleep apnea other than, "soft tissue, and long neck." Well let me start off by saying that I DID like this establishment. They were clean, professional, and very kind throughout the whole process of having implant surgery and wisdom teeth removal. However, after I paid almost $4,000.00 for the surgery out of pocket (which they did not say that I would need to pay more at any point in time) they sent me a bill months later for just under $1000.00. I thought that it was a mistake, due to me having insurance PLUS paying $4k out of pocket, I thought for sure that they had just messed something up because my insurance covered $1,200 so they are trying to say that I owe more than $5,000 for one implant and wisdom teeth removal. After moving to Denver, CO and speaking with a new practice I come to find out that Triangle Implant Center has failed to inform me of a great many matters concerning my surgery and my insurance. My new Dentist in Denver told me that my insurance provider has a missing tooth clause. This means that if I lost the tooth before I was insured that they would not cover it. This was not the case but when Triangle Implant Center submitted my paperwork up for approval they failed to submit a date that I lost the tooth in order for insurance to be able to pay it out. Insurance followed up requesting more information but Triangle Implant Center failed to reply back to them so my claim was denied. Dr. Reebye and associates never told me any of this and either intentionally withheld information to receive a higher cash payout (they receive more when it is cash than when it is paid out by the insurance provider) from me or they are that incompetent at their jobs and failed to follow up with the insurance provider. Regardless of the reason, Dr. Reebye has sent me to COLLECTIONS and I now get harassing phone calls twice a day from a debt collector about this money. Thankfully my new dentist set up a consultation with me and I will be appealing this decision with my insurance and hopefully be repaid the amount that I was wrongfully charged for. In Summary: I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS PLACE!!! I thought that this place was professional and ethical but clearly that was only a facade because this has to be the worst and most deceitful experience I have ever had with a medical provider..... read more

Left me waiting 30 minutes after he numbed me just to hear another Dr say my Dr needs to get off the phone smh. I had a pretty traumatic experience with my previous dentist that led to a very large infection due to a root canal gone wrong. I came here to get a second opinion and immediately I felt like I could trust them. It ended up being a pretty big surgery that had to take place a lot quicker than expected. At first the scheduling got mixed up but they made up for it and apologized profusely for their mistake (no biggy). They made me feel calm and explained things in such detail that I actually knew what I was going into (other dentists I've been to have not). Day of surgery went smoothly, my pain has been managed well, and my implant looks amazing! I have recommended this place to everyone who needed implant surgery, 100%. I had 4 wisdom teeth removed at Triangle Implant Center in April. As part of the surgery I also had a biopsy done. Dr. Reebye and his assistants were great, and the surgery and the subsequent recovery went smoother than expected. This one star rating however is solely due to the mismanagement and overbilling of my account by the office manager. Before the surgery, I obtained a predetermined estimate from my insurance company Delta Dental so I knew upfront what charges to expect and how much I would have to pay. However, there were two instances where this office tried to overcharge me. First, the day of the surgery, Triangle Implant charged me 100% of the fees (over $2,000), when they incorrectly told me that I needed to submit a claim with my medical insurance. I had no choice but to pay the fees in order to proceed with the surgery. My wife convinced the office manager to call Delta Dental and straightened out the mess. Second, the office tried to overcharge for the biopsy. Per Delta Dental's contract with Triangle Implant, the fees for the biopsy would be included in the wisdom teeth removal bill. On the day of the surgery when my wife told the office manager about this, she argued and said no you *must* pay separately for the biopsy. My wife reluctantly paid assuming that when they collect from our insurance then we would get a refund. This did not happen because the office manager refused to understand the policy of the insurance company that the office supposedly accepted. I then filed a grievance via Delta Dental and they made Triangle Implant Center give me my money back. The office manager's incompetence is directly responsible for the hours I had to spend on the phone, which I find unforgivable. Makes you wonder how many times patients have been incorrectly charged here. ****edit**** Many reviews after my initial review have mentioned the office manager and the atrocious billing practices of this office. Yet as far as I can tell, the practice has made no changes. I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out in one day. I opted to get "local anesthesia" which is just the shots for the pain instead of getting knocked out as well (saved $200). Anesthesia shots plus waiting time for my mouth to be completely numb took 15-20 min. Extraction of my wisdom teeth took 9 minutes. I couldn't believe it was over so fast. Dr. Reebye was EXTREMELY quick and careful for both the anesthesia shots and the extraction. I highly recommend! read more

I'm very dental phobic as a result of bad experiences, but had a bad tooth and knew it needed care. My regular dentist and the endodontist kept wanting me to go through a very costly retreat of the same tooth (would be 3rd root canal) and I'd already been on antibiotics for a month. Went to my dentist in the morning and again she dilly dallied and said well it will probably break, it will probably take 2 hrs., you can stay on antibiotics for up to 2 more MONTHS. Begged for a referral and was treated (same day!) by Dr. Park who took one look at the x-ray and said "You made the right choice, the infection and decay is very extensive. This tooth can't be saved." So I explained my fear as well as my back pain issues and he got right down to business and while it was not a 'pleasant' experience, it was as good as it gets for something that traumatic. I think the center is very efficient and well staffed. My daughter had 4 teeth removed and suffered very little pain. She had a flare up about 3 weeks later which they warned us about. She is a college student and was back at school. The doctor took the time to speak with me personally and advise us on what to do if it did not get better. We did have trouble with getting our money back once insurance covered the surgery. You have to stay on top of them which was a little disappointing . read more

i had a great experience here in 2015. dental implant done by dr. reebye who was great. it did not hurt a bit to drill into my jaw in order to implant the tooth, and there was only very minor pain afterwards. i did not need the prescribed pain meds, only the first day i took some otc pain medication. i very much liked this office, everybody was super-nice and professional, and they were very good about giving me an accurate up front estimate and with dealing with my insurance. i would recommend this place. read more

Do not recommend this practice! I had my procedure done end of September 2018 at the Cary location. I paid $1000 out of pocket the day of surgery and was told if insurance pays more they will issue me a refund check. Per t/c with the office manager Brittney on 11/27/2018, they received the payment from the insurance company end of October. She said it takes 10 days to clear and 30-60 days for a refund. She said I should have my check by the 2nd week in December. It's now January 11th and I have yet to receive my refund check. I called 01/08/2019 to check on the status and was told by Brittney again that she would have to get with Robin who works with the owner and they write the refund checks. I asked to have a phone call back. 3 days later still haven't heard from anyone. Called the Cary location 01/11/2019 and Brittney who was very rude said well I haven't heard from Robin so I don't know what to tell you. This place is great. Everyone is super nice and they try to get you in asap if you have an emergency. They explained everything to me well and I understood my copay prior to having the treatment (extraction of three of my wisdom teeth). Dr. Reebye saw me and he was very nice and knowledgeable. Super high marks for a great doctor and staff. Dr Reebye is THE BEST! Very, very good at what he does, super nice and calming. I'm a total spaz when it comes to anything dental and he's the best. The office can get busy, but they get to you quickly. My son visited there for his wisdom tooth removed. Doctor office gave quote for $3000 and said we should to pay upfront and I need to work with my insurance to get reimbursement. For the evaluation they charged him for $300, they did not check with my insurance, whether the x-ray would be covered. I end up paying $300 for nothing. read more
