I have extreme anxiety when I have to go see a dentist, so consequently I have elected to not to see one for years! Unfortunately, for me, I've developed a tooth problem that forced me to select a dentist and secure an appointment. i called Dr Presnell at triangle restoration dentistry. My experience was very good. The staff was wonderful. They all put me at ease. Dr. Presnell was gentle, considerate and completely understanding about my fears of seeing a dentist. Dr. Scurria & his staff are wonderful! They gave my mother a beautiful set of dentures after a lifetime of constant visits to dentists who never properly dealt with her bad teeth. She wishes she had found Dr. Scurria years ago. Because of her experience with Dr. Scurria, I transferred to his practice. My "routine" cleanings are very thorough. Laura, the dental hygienist, is top notch. Dr. Scurria always takes his time in looking at my teeth. I have never been pressured to have my old silver fillings replaced, or any other "optional" work. I originally had my dentures made 3 years ago by a dentist in Durham. After 6 months of adjustments plus many trial and error adjustments, I was told that my dentures would only provide a limited ability to eat even soft foods because of their poor fit. I was told it was because of bone loss in the gum. Fast forward a couple of years and the level of frustration I was experiencing was at a point where I had to try something different. I had a very good experience with my Oral Surgeon (Dr. Revo) so I ask him for a recommendation as to who I could see to resolve my problem. Without hesitation, he recommended Dr. Scurria ai Triangle Restoration Dentistry. Even at the first visit, I felt very confident in his ability just from his approach and immediate actions as to how to address the issue. Story short, I have been able to eat food that I couldn't touch for the last couple of years. Doctors are condescending to patients and hygienists. Dr. Márquez filled two front teeth and when I could still feel the pain which was worse than child birth she said to deal with it because she couldn't give me anything else for pain. Less than a year later, these two teeth suddenly needed crowns. Price is fairly reasonable although a little high. Dental hygienists are great and helpful and caring. Dr. Scurria has slightly better bedside manner but still mansplains patients. Will be finding another dentist who can treat without epinephrine and doesn't charge so much for mediocre service. read more

I was late for my cleaning so they skipped that and went on to the restoration when I could get there about 30 minutes later. My front tooth was restored. The procedure was really quick the doctor doing the procedure knew what he was doing and he was very friendly. Daniela, his assistant, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable as well I really enjoyed my experience! I was recommended to go to this dentist by my husband as I've had several bad experiences with my previous dentist, Dr. Tim at Longleaf Dentistry. Triangle Restoration Dentistry staffers are more than just a team; they are family. My mouth was a mess before I went to see Dr. Scurria. I had grinded my teeth so badly for most of my life. Hence, there was no way I could remedy it without implants and a major prosthetic procedure for many teeth. The cost was daunting but very fair. Most importantly, he cared and was a pitbull about 'getting it right'. Dr. Marquez is the same way, as I am now working with her for another procedure, again due to grinding. The staff works so well together and you can see and feel a real sense of respect and sincere liking of each other. Until you go through a lengthy, and very stressful procedure like the one that I had, I don't know that one can fully appreciate how important it is to be greeted with smiles that are sincere and comforting. I thank them for sticking with me, and I post on Facebook every time I go, that I am with family.
