Teachers are sub-par, no real technique, they pay for awards or recognition at competitions or online reviews, since they can't actually earn it just on merit. But then again, how can 2 childless unmarried woman know how to make a well rounded individual anyways. By the way, they ask there comp team moms to write reviews to boost a better outlook for the studio. You will have better outcome and training at other area studios where they actually care about the dancer and development and a true family environment. Makes you wonder why these two have changed studio names quite a few times already.

We have had a great experience so far. Swim classes are run very well, our girls enjoy them and are progressing. We had previously be been part of another swim school and did not have a great experience and the instructors didn't know our children well which disabled their progress. Here, the girls have a relationship with their teachers and we see how well they do each class. Dave/Suzana in the office are terrific also when it comes to all swim related questions. Front desk staff as you enter are very friendly--have always answered my questions well, we very much appreciate having a face there on weekends. The youth theater is terrific and it's so nice having their shows to see with young children in the area. Highly recommend! This summer, we are looking to join their camp for the first time and are very excited to give it a try! We're heard great things.

Since the status of the location was unclear when I was leaving, I had given written notice of cancellation in September of 2025. Upon return I saw the monthly charge posted to my credit card October, 2025. (I was out of town from October 2-November 6) Rather than seeking a refund I thought the membership team would honor that payment and allow me to use the Wyckoff Y facility for the next 3 weeks. (I wanted to see if I enjoyed the gym and the people running the facility). I thought I would eventually continue my gym membership in the Wyckoff location. The attitude of Mary in the membership department was less than pleasant and challenged my written cancellation. She said she would try and find the document. subsequently she had the front desk girl call me and state they would not honor my request.

There's the notion of ballet instructors needing to be mean to achieve a result...which often results in rudeness and a hate towards the art but the instructors here have none of that and that's what makes all the girls love going there. The 2nd floor is divided into two main areas, the cardio area and weight area (both machines & free weights). Joining was very simple, I sat down with "Nur" the Fitness Manager who laid out the available options. I went with the national Program paid annually. Some improvements I'd recommended are more abdominal machines like a Roman chair, I'd also like to see significantly more full elliptical machines, most of the ones there don't have moving arms, which is half a work out. Overall, this is the best value gym in Bergen County. Everyone I've met there is extremely curious and non judgmental. The staff is very friendly, always smiling when you check in and they do their best to keep the place clean. It can get busy during peak hours, but during work hours you'll have the place to yourself to do your own thing. The guest pass is a no brainer to be able to bring your spouse (who is on the treadmill in my photo). Like anything in life, the more you put into your workout, the better the results. This is a budget type gym, where you bring your own towel, but there are plenty of water fountains to fill your bottle. I'd rather bring my own clean towel and pay less for a place with lots of amenities. For the money I'm going to give 24 Hour Fitness 5 stars. The other gyms in the area are double the price and not all are national chains. Hope to see you all there in the future as we all get in shape.

The air in the pool is cold due to a requirement that the door to the locker room be left open. Reason: The manager says the ventilation fan in the ceiling over the pool is too small. What's needed are dehumidifiers that circulate warm air the temperature of the water. But they have to be installed in the walls and that costs over 60 grand. I am told we'll never get this fixed. With the number of senior citizens who use this facility, someone is gonna get sick. Now to the showers. The water heater is broken so we take showers the temperature of the pool. The club needs a new water heater. This is more affordable, and estimates are being sought. Rome is not built in a day! The hot tub is kept very warm so it can heat the pool air. Some gals find it too hot. Not me. It's great for my arthritic knees. You can actually see the steam rising from the pool. But the good news is we have new frosted glass doors to the sauna and bathroom. Woopy!
