I called for an appointment on Tuesday and they got me in the next day. Sydni went above and beyond to achieve the color I wanted. She even allowed me to fall asleep about 16 times (I work nights and am not used to being awake during the day) without judging me. I highly recommend this salon and especially Sydni!! read more

This was my first visit to Tribe upon the recommendation of a friend. First and foremost, I have to say how blown away I am by their safety precautions. I have avoided a haircut for all of 2020 out of fear. Upon arrival, they deliver a questionnaire to your vehicle to have verify you are symptom free, and while you are doing that they sterilize the salon station. They take your temperature upon entry, and even have you wash your hands before you sit down in the chair. Sydni was my stylist and gave me a lot of helpful suggestions for styling and care of my hair (which admittedly has been neglected) and gave me one of the best haircuts I have had in a long time. The owner, Brian, was incredibly pleasant as well. I will not be getting my hair cut anywhere else going forward! read more

Tribe is an Aveda salon with very talented hair dressers. My favorite being Ursula, who has cut my hair for many years. It's a respectful, professional, but laid back environment that I would recommend to anyone. If it wasn't so far away, I would continue going here. I'm hoping that I find another salon soon that's as good, but closer to home. Until then, I will keep going back to Tribe after another failed salon trial. read more

I searched for a LONG time before finding the BEST SALON and BEST STYLISTS ever. Brian, the owner, is a genius, exceptionally talented, always has great ideas and listens to mine. He's also an excellent person, caring, thoughtful and positive.....I always leave looking SO much better and FEELING GREAT. I've been a VERY HAPPY client for over 15 years.....my (now living in LA) loves Brian and Tribe as well...so much so that he prefers Tribe to the highest rated salons in SoCal. Awesome salon! Easy scheduling an appointment, always get an amazing scalp massage with the shampoo! Brian and Ursula are the senior artists. They have an extensive line of Aveda products. They offer an array of skin care (facials, waxing) as well! It is quite a ways out on the west side of town but worth the trip! read more

Had my highlights done by Sidney. They came out beautiful. She styled my crazy curly hair into a gorgeous sleek straight Victoria secret bombshell hair style. Seriously the best blow out I've ever had. Why not 5 stars? Because I've never paid $93 for a mini highlight before. I've been with the same stylist for over 20 years. She just changed careers and no longer does hair. $93 is what I paid her for my highlights and a cut, no blow out though. Definitely will go back for special occasions but probably not my every 12 week root touch up and trim. read more

I ended up going to Tribe Salon because I couldn't get a same day appointment anywhere else. They were able to fit me in with no problems. Hillary was my hairstylist, and she did everything I wanted. She took great care of me, and made sure my hair was just how I wanted it. The staff at this salon were professional and friendly. This will be my new place to get my hair done! If you go here, make sure to get either Hillary or Kallie, both are fantastic! read more

We just moved to the area and I was nervous about trying out a new stylist. Veronica did a terrific job with my daughter's hair. She came in with a mass of tangles and not wanting to get it cut. My best friend had her wedding in Denver this past weekend. She, her mom, and four bridesmaids (including me) had their hair and makeup done at Tribe. We were all beyond impressed- the Salon is closed on Sundays, but Brian opened the Salon for us for the day. There were four stylists working on the six of us. They were all incredibly talented and we all left feeling gorgeous. All six of us have very different hair and skin but the stylists made each of us feel beautiful and look amazing. We had four different up dos and a complicated waterfall braid, all done keeping our different dresses, hair, and desires in mind. I can't recommend Tribe enough! read more

I visited the salon because a friend referred me. I was excited to see what it had to offer! I was greeted by a cute blond, Kelsey I believe. Who was darling. But my service was turned over to kallie at that point and..... Hello diva! You'd think she'd been doing hair for 10+ yeas with the attitude she has. Brian, I imagine is the boss could care less about his guests (on a personal level) and the short red head is inappropriate and uncomfortable. I will not return, and maybe it was a bad day but they need better customer service. The little older woman, was a peach ---you need more of her! Good luck in the service industry. read more

I have been searching for a new hair stylist, and had no luck until I went to Hillary at the Tribe Salon. I was short-tempered at the beginning since I had gotten used to stylists not listening to me, yet Hillary remained calm and focused and really listened. Service was great from a few stylists. What was shocking was the wayt the salon was ran. I heard the owner joking inappropriately to his female staff. He is gay so I don't think too much past that, but I just felt uncomfortable. I had made an appointment for a color & cut service the same day. The old lady @ the front desk only scheduled me for a cut. WTF? From talking to my stylist I found out the front desk lady was actually the salon owner's mother. Doesn't he know you don't have family work with you? I love my stylist, just wish the management would get their act together. read more

My most favorite stylist ever decided to retire and I tried someone he recommended who absolutely butchered my hair. I called Tribe to make an appointment and described my problem. I was scheduled with Brian (the owner) and it is going to take a couple more months, but he is fixing the most horribly botched cut I have ever had in my life. The first time I went to him he didn't charge me as I had just paid for the awful cut. That was way above and beyond in my estimation. I love the friendly and caring employees, all of the Aveda products that I have used for years, and above all, Brian, who is probably the nicest guy I have ever met. Kudos to everyone!!! read more

I went to Tribe after my other go to salon closed, and had a bad cut from another salon around the corner. I asked for a stylist that knows very fine straight hair. They sent me to Hillary. I had a bad cut from another salon around the corner from them and needed it fixed. Not only was the cut worse, but uneven! She cut the back way too short and the top was left long even though I asked twice for it to be shorter. It turned out blocky, and choppy looking, and the back is very uneven. Hillary made no effort to smile not even once. This is an Aveda salon so they push their products. The shampoo she used made my hair feel like straw. read more

I am so severely disappointed in my experience here. I guess we should start at the beginning. I called at around 10 am and was greeted with a rude receptionist. She seemed annoyed at the mere thought of making an appointment for me. I originally wanted a cut and color but was told "we don't have time for that" which okay fine but she could have at least offered to make me another appointment for a color. I informed her of my situation because my hair was severely bleach damaged from the night before. She said she would inform my stylist. After arriving at my appointment with 5 minutes to spare I got seated and thought I was going to have a nice time. The salon was beautiful and Hilary my stylist was just a peach. I told her I didn't want my hair cut past my shoulder blade which she seemed to think was just dumb of me. She took me back shampooed my hair all with this horrible annoyed look on her face. She took my back and cut my hair blunt. Blunter than blunt. Literally just lopped off my ends and sent me on my way with 2 seconds of blow dried hair. Little did I know I had been double booked and before I could even stand up there was another lady in the chair waiting for her hair to be done. I was there for a total INCLUDING WASH AND DRY of 25 minutes. It is horrible to feel like I was a burden walking in there. Now at 20 years of age have a soccer mom bob.
