We arrived early in the afternoon so our flower girl could have her hair and makeup done. The venue was brand new. We were their third wedding, like ever. The building has a nice blend of glass, stained concrete and fabric chandeliers inside. A long porch lines one side of the building and a sloping path led to outdoor seating and small stage with a steel arbor. We were there hours early and flowers, bars, and tables were being setup as the weather was beginning to stir. Outdoor weddings in Texas are always a crapshoot considering the volatile weather here. As the start time approached, the weather worsened. The staff began to rework the indoor space to provide a way to stage the wedding inside. By the time the building was full of guests, full Texas thunderstorm was raging on top of us. We waited a bit and the bride wanted to be married outside despite the weather. So, the staff reset the room again and we resumed the outdoor plan. A few minutes later the happy couple were married and the party started. If you are looking for a new venue with a Texan-Pinterest vibe, multiple ways to setup in case of inclement weather, and hard working staff, the Lazy S Hacienda is a great choice.

Nancy, the manager, was so kind and accommodating. She surprised me with a Starbucks iced coffee! It was so sweet. The rental times for the Springs is unbeatable and their open vendor list was such a plus. They made hiring security very easy and smooth. If I had the ability to go back and do it all over, I'd still choose the Springs to have my special day. My husband loves the grooms suite!!

We had to ask for extra coffee packets for our coffee maker in out room. The King sized bed was uncomfortable and had a valley in the center of it. Considering the price we prepaid for the room and then to have an additional $40.00 charged for Incidentals, I was not impressed with Fairfield Inn. I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone.

The beds and pillows were perfect for a good nights rest after a long drive. They have a free continental breakfast which we enjoyed before getting on the road the next morning.

There only so much #PIVOT you can do! (Friends reference!) Pivot, Dammit! The indoor pool and hot tub are nice! Hot tub is lukewarm tub and needs to be adjusted, and please add a cabinet for towels. We were not aware that there were not towels at the pool, so we looked a little silly. Not yay we minded the silly part, but we did mind freezing our unmentionables off. WiFi is great and walking distance to Target and good eats. Would definitely stay here again!
