I was thinking of taking my little one here when he gets up in age for preschool but after seeing how the support staff and other supervisors are around the kids at Rebounder's on 08/07/2019 at 10am I won't consider them any more. Adults watching the kids are actually not watching them there on there phones pretty much all the time, when there not on the phones there doing there own thing leaving the kids alone and doing there own fun on there own away from the kids there in charge of. The kids have there own mob mentality and cut in line in front of regular customers like my family and others again with no supervision. So no I won't have my son go here, I would worry my son getting hurt or injured and the supervisors won't know what happened because they won't be around to see what happened. read more

I started bringing my daughter to LFU last October when she was 7 months. She is now in her third classroom since she started and I have been very satisfied and happy with all her teachers. She comes come home saying new words and knowing new animal sounds every single day. It's so amazing to see how much she has learned from daycare. Calling for an opening, and possibly the opportunity to take a tour. Alicia was so kind to help me and give me a tour on such short notice. Given the tour and all the info, I can see how much pride they take into this facility. The structure of each individual age group has in order to proceed to the next level, every penny is worth it here. If your looking for a decent rate for child care, knowing it's a 4:1 ratio, and the staff is super friendly. My gut instincts were saying, this is the place!!! read more

Could not imagine a better group of people to watch and care for my son. I have seen so much growth in him since he started LFU 5 months ago (he's 2 1/2 years old). The office staff is always friendly and flexible. They go out of their way to have fun activities for the students, parents and staff. The teachers in his class are amazing. They give me updates and tell me stories about his daily activities like they were bragging about their own child. 5 stars for LFU!!!! read more

I've been blessed to have children at Little Folks University for the last five years. Our experiences have been amazing! The teachers are heart-felt, dedicated, caring, and talented. In fact, my son learned int their Jr. Kinder program basically everything that will be done this year in Kindergarten. His new Kindergarten teacher said that he was amazingly over-prepared for Kindergarten! Bonnie knows all the kids and families, respects their individual needs and differences, and somehow perfectly coordinates their amazing program. Summer school age camp is off the charts too! I've been sending my 18 month old daughter there now for the last six months and it's the best daycare/learning center I've seen to date. My wife and I have visited several places in the area and decided on this place because the staff was super friendly and warm, prices were very reasonable and times they are open for drop off/pick up. The kids there really seems to enjoy themselves, plenty of activities for them to do and they learn something new everyday. My daughter loves going there and we don't have separation issues when I have to leave. I have a work schedule that fluctuates and they work with my ever changing schedule and allow me to change dates without any issues. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a place to trust with your child. read more

This is literally the best school ever! Miss Bonnie and all of the teachers genuinely care about your kid, and they are treated like family, and even if your child is not in that specific teachers class, they still know each and every child by name. Love it here! I highly recommend them! Also, they learn so much, our son just had his kindergarten evaluation after attending Little Folks, and his K teacher was very impressed by how much he knew. My daughter (now 5 years old) attended Little Folks University for about 2 years prior to starting kindergarten and we couldn't be happier with her experience there and how much she grew socially and academically! She is now a thriving kindergartner! The teachers are caring and awesome...every time my daughter sees one of her pre-K teachers she's just ecstatic! After spending months researching a drop in facility, we found out on August 31 that our daycare was shutting down forever. I was in need of a place to watch my easy going 11 month old two days a week. I called and asked if I could come do a tour in 15 minutes. I've found that places that who let you tour at any time with no appointment are the cleanest since they have nothing to hide. I showed up and was toured through the infant room and 12-18 month room. I really like that the children are broken up by age appropriate groupings like infants, 12-18 months, 18 months to potty trained. I love that there are family events almost monthly. My daughter got to "sing" (IE be held while the teachers sing) during Back to School Night. I brought my husband and parents to B2SN so they could meet my daughters teachers and see the campus. The teachers were very nice to us despite how crazy we must have looked. My brother wants to come to the Fall Festival this year. Next year when Rachel is old enough to go to the Pumpkin Patch she will no doubt have six family members as "volunteers". I really like that the teachers verbally tell the parents about any upcoming events like Picture Day or the Christmas Pageant. Also the teachers really like their kiddos. All the teachers we see, even those who I know aren't in my daughters level, know her name. As a teacher myself I should expect some level of professionalism, but I wouldn't expect the staff to know my daughter's likes and dislikes in two weeks when she only attends two days a week. Her teachers will even let me know if she is starting to get diaper rash... way before I generally notice. To be honest the best part about sending my daughter to LFU is that she comes home happy and tired. When I drop her off she laughs! She knows the place is fun. I like that she is allowed to play outside, eat with her hands, and crawl around like a crazy baby. read more

Very disappointed and upset with their client service leading up to the pending registration of my oldest child with this facility. Was left unanswered ,during the school tour, if my kids can attend here or not, due to director being out that week, (I get it, they need vacations too). I accidentally called back same week, I am a SAHM so sometimes I forget what day of the week it is.. LOL. Anyways, was told I would receive a call Mon or Tues from the director with a response. Nothing, called on Wed and the director said there was definitely a spot open for my son (who will be attending a school that they had double confirmed serviced - before/after school care). And he could start any time. I had asked her for the next steps, as per the reviews, wanted to get him in before it was taken up. She said that she would contact me on Friday morning and made herself a note, promised she would call me. Friday afternoon comes along, almost 3pm, person who answered says the director has been on a 'break' and should be back in 30 mins. An hour goes by, I call and regretted it, felt like I was being a pest so I hung up. I get a call about 10 mins from my hung up call from the same lady who answered the first time, NOT the director herself, whom I have been in contact that week. States that there is no spots for my kids and all of a sudden they aren't servicing that school he is attending. I tell her that the scheduled morning phone call was to set up a time to register him, what was that all about? She murmured, as she had nothing to say about it, other than give me some BS excuse. Not sure what a director like that is in possession of a childcare facility. read more

This place has been a gods sent for me. I drive from El Dorado Hills so that he can go there. My son has been going here since he was one and three years later he still loves it. There are days when he doesn't want to leave because he's having so much fun. The teaching they provide is awesome and starts from day one. I can remember my son saying please in sign language at 15 months. To this day his teachers give reports of his progress. Bonnie truly is the best director. She takes the time to make sure the kids are ready for kindergarten and provides the extra fun stuff for kids and parents such as recitals, brunches, field trips etc. Everyone that participates in that school is definitely appreciated. read more

So impressed with this daycare. I signed up my 7 year old son for summer daycare and there has not been a week that has gone by without an outing/field trip (they've gone to the Folsom Prison, Chalbot Space and Science Center, Escape Room, World of Wonders Museum, Ripley's, Fencing, aquatic center and there's still more). Every day is packed with projects and curriculum to learn. The staff is amazing and so friendly as well. I just wish I had found this place sooner. read more

I've been taking my now 2 1/2 years old daughter here since she was six months old. The amount of love and care that they show for the kids is amazing. From the day that we started attending the teachers and staff would greet her by name. You always get a warm hello and have a good day when picking up and dropping off. They do a wonderful job creating lesson plans and activities for the kids. It's always amazing to me to see how much she has learned, the number of curriculum oriented art project she brings home and I love seeing the photos of all of the activities that they plan. The summers are especially fun when they have a couple of water play days each week, have visitors such as magicians, princesses and huge bounces houses. I have nothing but love and trust for the teachers and recommend this place to all of my friends that are looking for daycare in the area. My now six week old will be attending next year and if it's comforting knowing that I'm taking her to LFU. read more

My son has been attending Little Folks University since he was 6 weeks old. I have experienced nothing but the best care for my son. Each teacher has been kind, knowledgeable and he is always been in the best of care. He has been fortunate to have the same teachers for the last 5 years who have given him the skills he needs and prepared him well for the transition into Kindergarten. I have nothing but great things to say about this facility. The VAN driver that tranports my son took the time to speak to my son's Kindergarten teacher when my family had a recent emergency that disrupted our lives a bit. This VAN driver took the time to soeak for me when I could not because she was so concerned about my son.
