Within the last year, we had transitioned to Cadence Academy. We left another Daycare after multiple incidents that were not addressed in a way that prioritized my child safety. Moving to Cadence was a blessing. We had researched many different facilities prior to choosing this location. Their standards for cleanliness and curriculum are above superb. I must say this is one of the best place to send your kids for daycare service. Our kids went there since they were 4 months old. Our older one is 5 years old and the younger one is about to turn 3 years old. Some of the facilities we toured, the teachers seem like they don't want to be there, the foods look bad (lots of cheap processed foods) and give off refuge camp vibes. I do echo with all the positive feedback from the 4-5 stars reviews. The teachers were caring and supportive to our kids needs and we can tell our kids enjoy going to "school" every day. The facility is well maintained with amble amount of toys. The playground in the back is one of the most impressive we had seen compared to other facilities (we toured 6 facilities before choosing this one). The foods they serve to kids have diverse menu and are generally pretty healthy with vegetarian options. The only unfortunate part is there could be high turnover for teachers and I think that probably happens in other daycares too. It's not a state funded job so the salary may not be as competitive. But that's not the management's fault. Just the nature of the job. read more

I moved my son to Cadence at 3 months old after a nightmare experience at an in-home daycare. Cadence has been amazing! They allow cloth diapers which helps me save $. I was able to stop by every day during lunch to breastfeed (pre-COVID) and chat with the teachers. I'm a FTM and I have learned sooo much from them. The teachers have been great with my son's development; it's really impressive how much he can do at almost 2 years. He has bonded with the teachers there like Ms. Jen, Ms. Becca, Ms. Chloe, Ms. Sabrina, and on and on, which makes me so happy. It's important for me to have caregivers who really care about my child instead of just doing a job. I'm a big animal lover, so I love that they have live animals at the school. The kids do have to change teachers when they move rooms, but I haven't seen high staff turnover. The ONLY downside so far is the cost. They increase it every year, so right after my son turns 2 his full time tuition will be about the same as when he started as an infant. I was hoping tuition would get cheaper as he got older, so I'm struggling, but it's worth it. I'd definitely recommend Cadence! I didn't receive any incentive to write this review. read more

We have two kiddos attending Cadence at the moment and have had the pleasure of getting to experience multiple classrooms during our time there. My kids come home excited to tell me about everything they've done for the day and all the things they've learned. The teachers provide excellent notes/details about what each class has done and always include great pictures that I can download and share with family that's far away. With my youngest we were struggling with some imaginary "monsters" and his teacher was so wonderful, she helped us address the issue and empower my son to mentally take charge and overcome his anxiety. Everything from potty training, to learning to read - this preschool is everything we could have hoped for and more. I sent my boy Lucas who was 2 years old to cadence in august last year. Initially we were so worried about whether he can get himself used to the daycare, due to the covid, he has been kept at home for pretty long time. But all the teachers and facility staff were so nice that helped him transit to the school life pretty smoothly. Ms Marisela and other 2 teachers in tree frog class are amazing, they trained lucas how to go potty so quickly. He loves go to school and enjoys his time with teachers and classmates. In school, they even teaches him Spanish, now I can hear he speaks Spanish or sing Spanish songs sometimes at home. Overall, I strongly recommend cadence, it's a nice school for the kids. read more

We (my husband, 5 month old and I) joined the Cadence family about a month ago and we are never looking back! Everyone at Cadence has been extremely welcoming and supportive of my family through the transition into daycare/preschool. They keep us informed of my daughters daily activities and eating schedule and didn't make me feel bad for calling multiple times in the first few days to check on her. My daughter LOVES attending Cadence Academy Broadstone. She practically jumps out of my arms when we arrive in the morning and she's always smiling and happy when I pick her up at the end of the day. We've been taking her there for 6 months and she's been primarily in the baby room. All of the teachers in the baby room are superb! They are so kind and attentive to the babies and they're excellent at communicating with the parents. I've never had any doubts about leaving my child with them. They're extremely capable and knowledgeable. I appreciate each and every one of them! They've begun transitioning my daughter from the baby room to the cuddle bugs (toddler) room and I've been so impressed with how smoothly they've made the swap over. They've gradually introduced her into the new room so she can get familiar with the new teachers, space and other children. We're sad that she's leaving the baby room because the teachers have taken such excellent care of her in there, but we're also equally excited to watch her grow in this next phase. All of the staff at Cadence has been wonderful, but the Director, Miss Sandra, is exceptional! She's so kind and caring to all living things (children and Cadence class pets alike!). We are so thankful we found this school. Our son was at another pre-school pre-COVID but we needed to find something closer to home because of WFH. We are continually impressed by the comprehensive and cultured curriculum offered by the school. Our son is actually learning the fundamentals and has grown and matured so much since he started here. I can't say thank you enough to Cadence Academy for my daughter Priya's development. The school is amazing and my daughter attended since she was 6 months old till 3 years. Sandra Hanes is so kind and caring for all her school children. My daughter did not like going to school after COVID breaks. Sandra will come and pick up my daughter every morning and show her Tank (the tortoise) and Bun bun (little bunny) to make her happy. My daughter adjusted so quickly. My daughter loves her school and all her teachers and her Ms. Sandra. My daughter is an artist because of so beautiful art work at her class. My daughter has been attending Cadence Academy, Broadstone for the last month. With her being only 6 months old when she started, and my first child, I had very high expectations when looking for a child care center for her. Upon touring the school, I had realized that all of my expectations had not only been met, but surpassed. The baby room staff was super personable, caring, and welcoming. We switched our 5 year daughter and 3.5 year old son to Phoenix after attending the highly recommend preschool here in Folsom. The transition was seamless. We are sooo thankful we switched. Both of our kids used to cry everyday going to their old preschool; however, now that we switched to Phoenix, their amazingly loving and kind teachers make my kids look forward to going. Every morning we are greeted by name with a smile and truly feel like an extended family. We get the most recent information about our kids' day through their app, regarding class activities/lessons, snack/lunch information and pictures/videos. This helps build great conversational pieces with our kids about their day at home to bridge that school/ home gap. Our son came to Phoenix with a slight speech delay. Now that he has been there for just over 3 weeks, we can already see great improvements. His overall social skills have vastly improved and he is making great strides in his academic growth as well. Our daughter (5 years old) has excelled in her academics in just the short 3 weeks she has been there. The teachers provide age appropriate weekly homework that is 100% doable for her age and ability level. This homework component helps to solidify classroom concepts. This allows her to build responsibility to be prepared for kindergarten. Our child loves completing homework and learning new things. This didn't use to be the situation. We are so glad Phoenix turned our daughter's perception of academics into a positive one for future endeavors. The support staff and teachers provide immediate feedback, if they have any concerns or questions about your children. I can't say enough positive things about Phoenix Preschool. I have been sending my 3 year old daughter here since she was 6 months old and I am beyond impressed with the learning/teaching environment. Phoenix has been such an amazing part of family's life this past year. When our youngest was 5 months old and eldest was 3, I went back to work and I was nervous at what that transition would look like. Our 3 year old had been out of day care for 8 months, and now we were switching her to a new school. And my youngest rarely slept, let alone would take a bottle... I swore she was going to cry all day. Neither of my children have cried while dropping them off, they are super excited to go to school and I just adore the staff in all their classes. They have made friends, never once had a "incident" happen... at our previous day care my daughter was bite and hit (which I know happens) but somehow this school has the magic of making 3-4 years olds to share talk our problems, or maybe they are just having so much fun that the kids don't have "incidents". I cannot say enough good things about the staff, Sandra is the sweetest so nice and helpful, her staff is always professional, positive and seem genuinely happy... which says a lot about a boss and work environment. Taylor is so welcoming and makes everything run so smoothly and knows each and every child and parent with stories, which assures me that she truly does care about my children and every child there. And I could write a novel on how amazing the infant room has been for my daughter, each and every teacher in the room is hands down amazing. The lions den teachers are also top notch teachers who create a warm environment. I still can't get over one day when I went to pick up my daughter. She was playing with 2 other 3 year olds and they were playing a board game. I sat there and watched them play. They took turns and explained to me how to play the game... I was so impressed at how well they worked together and followed instructions. I love that the staff all know my children and that I am their parent. I makes me feel that my children are save and that they are cared for. Being a teacher I know how important it is for kids to feel comfortable, loved and happy at school, and with no doubt I know Phoenix is the best place for my two daughters. The Phoenix School has been the biggest blessing, for our family! When beginning to look at options for daycare, while preparing to return to work, I was afraid that nothing would be "good enough". Phoenix School was my 4th stop, and from the moment I walked in the door, for a site visit, the energy was incredible!! Miss Sandra and Miss Taylor were super kind, welcoming, and you could tell that everyone was happy to be there! We then saw the Infant Room, and the teachers had the same energy. We left, and knew that this was the perfect fit for us! Fast forward to 8 months later, and we could not be more grateful! Miss Jenn, Miss Jamie, Miss Das, Miss Jessica, Miss Annie, and Miss Norma (infant room teachers) are the best of the best! They truly care about every single kiddo, and they love what they do! They supported my nursing my daughter, during my lunch break, and when we were done nursing, they supported my continuing to visit my little one, during lunch. They never made me feel out of place for coming by. They welcomed me with open arms, and would also answer any mommy questions I had (they became a great support group for me). Anytime I called to check on my little one (when I couldn't make the visit), Miss Taylor, Miss Celeste or Miss Sandra would give me a detailed update. They never made me feel bad for calling, or like I was an inconvenience. They completely supported it, and they always made me feel so great about what was happening! I loved receiving photos, and hearing stories about my daughter's day! And above all, my daughter was all smiles whenever she was dropped off, and all smiles whenever I went to see her! She LOVED it! I truly cannot say enough good things. The leadership, and teachers, are INCREDIBLE!! As we enter a new fabulous phase, of my working part time from home, and getting to spend more time with my daughter as she turns one (meaning no more daycare), it is bitter sweet, as I am going to miss this school! I actually cried when I told them about our exciting news with my being home, because they have been such an incredible support system for me, my husband, and above all, my daughter! Of course, they were extremely supportive of this new step for us, and are excited for my to be with Myla more, as they knew how important that was to our family. This again is a tribute to their genuine love and care for the kiddos, and their families. There are certainly no goodbyes with this school, as we will absolutely stay in touch! This school has been a blessing in disguise for my daughter. She started attending at 3yrs old and is now in the kindergarten class at 6yrs old. She's become more confident and out going. Not to mention she's exceling with the ciriculum. We both love this school and would reccommend it again and again. We've had two children at Cadence for about 9 months and are very happy with it. Our oldest attends the after school program with Mr Jose and really enjoys it. They seem to have a nice balance of free play time and he is eager to help with homework and make the time productive, too.
