Still, I believe that service should be quicker than it was. We had to wait quite a while to even get our drinks. Our server was friendly, but I just would've liked service to be quicker as we were getting something to eat after a long day skiing. I got the jalapeno cheddar brat, which came with your choice of potato and another side. I got the baked potato and pickled cabbage. Both were nothing special but good. The brat was great! I wish they had a meal with two brats, because even just the meal with one was pretty pricey. My drink was some peach cocktail and I didn't realize it was be so large!! But it was really good. Overall a good place to come when you want a brat.

Brat Stop is a local establishment that's close to the highway and looked like something I could easily eat in the car, so I called in and ordered to go of a two brat plate with fries. I asked for a smoked garlic brat and a cheddarwurst, but I believe they gave me a Cajun brat instead of the cheddarwurst based on the flavor of the second one. I still ate it because I didn't dislike it and I didn't feel like going back to have them replace it, but if it was Cajun it wasn't spicy enough for how I like Cajun food. The smoked garlic brat was great and worth the $1 upcharge. I appreciate that the fries were battered and had plenty of crispy pieces in the box. Yes, I would stop again because the smoked garlic brat and fries were excellent, but I'm knocking off a star from this review for them screwing up my order.

Okay, understandable, it's hard running a business and with the tab running out it's understandable kicking everyone out. But the bouncer just started punching people in the face as they were leaving voluntarily with no complaint and shoving the women who were leaving with no complaint down the stairs (40 minutes before closing time no less, which wouldn't be review worthy not for the abhorrent treatment of people actively leaving without compliant, or with it mind you). I don't want to damn the whole bar because it was just a bouncer and people can have good on paper qualities that make for horrible mistakes in hiring but punching random people (not even me to be clear) who are actively leaving the bar without compliant when you shut down the bar 40 minutes earlier than normal and shoving women down the stairs is simply horrible behavior. If the bar owners actually care and respond to the inevitable complaints from that night then I will rescind this review of awful behavior from one bouncer but until then it stays up. 1/5 bouncers punching people in the face who were actively leaving (40 minutes early because the bar screwed up no less) without complaint and shoving women down the stairs deserve 0 stars and to be fired with no compensation. If this sounds cartoonishly one sided, I would agree with you if not for unambiguously not experiencing this behavior myself with no complexity otherwise. Sometimes horrifically scummy people exist and are hired. Fire that violent assaulting bouncer and this review goes away, hiring mistakes happen but until that bouncer is fired, this bar deserves a terrible review for innocent people being assaulted due to negligent hiring until it corrects said mistake.

Convenient if you're staying at the hotel and want a nice relaxing and quiet place to enjoy a meal. In general all the food tasted fresh and did seem to use slightly better than normal ingredients. My favorite dish I tried was the Gnocchi Ala Vodka as the other ones seemed to be a bit bland. I also enjoyed the Beer Braised Reuben as the taste of the beef was prominent and the other elements complemented instead of distracted from the flavor. I wouldn't make a special trip to eat here again but I would stop by if I'm in the area.

Since I was alone, I sat on the quiet side to work vs on the louder bar side. I ordered a small Caesar without croutons and a cheeseburger, medium, with blue cheese, double lettuce, and tomato with fries. Lighting was low which was great to see the computer screen. Music was on the perfect background volume. The Caesar was really tasty! But it did have croutons as wells as grape tomatoes and olives. I would get it again. The burger was prepared a specified. It came on a pretzel bun. I asked the server which was better- the homemade fries or the homemade potato chips. He said both were good but he gets the fries. So that's what I got. The homemade fries were very, very good. Too good! The key lime pie was tart, the way I like it. The presentation was very fancy too. My waiter said the cheesecakes were the best sellers. Maybe next time! It took awhile to hunt someone down to pay my bill. This is a great option if dining alone and you want to work.
