We always love the food & our out of town friends had awesome food but my hubby & I that have always had great food .... We're disappointed with the Mexican plates we had Beans were solid & hard & French onion soup was cold with a giant clump of cheese. Won't stop us from making the drive but so wanted something better for our friends. I'm not Spanish & I'd put those beans to shame. No kidding tina & Candi. We just moved back to WI after being in AZ for the past 12 years. I went on line looking for a good fish fry and they listed the Tin Can as second best in Racine county so we thought we'd try it. They had a Cod, Perch and Bluegill dinner and I had the potato pancakes! It was amazing! The coleslaw and marble rye was delicious also. Our server was very nice and pleasant and always kept checking on us and made sure our drinks were always full. We definitely recommend this place for a great fish fry! read more

Our group of 4 stopped in for dinner Saturday night! The drinks were great and reasonably priced. All our food was tremendous. 2 orders of prime rib and an order of ribs and a steak and shrimp combo. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the ribs were outstanding. He got the sweet bbq sauce but the other sauces sounded great too. Oh man. Finally something good near Union grove. We moved here from a bigger city and food haven and have been so sad with food in the area. Safe to say price was stellar and burgers were great. Fries were the best part and no shortage of toppings for the burgers. Will be back again and again. For two burgers, both with fries, extra toppings and soup -- less than 30$. This is such a great place. Everything I've gotten from this place is supper yummy. Me and the BF come Wednesdays for the $1 wings. The wings are comparable to the best of the best. My hubby and I stopped late afternoon today on a whim. We sat at the bar, I had a Bloody Mary which was very good. The bartender (I think her name was Crystal) was super nice and attentive. We both ordered Filet, unfortunately when our food came, they brought a filet and a Prime Rib. She accidentally put in the wrong item so I took the Prime Rib. She was very apologetic, and we totally understand mistakes happen. I wasn't disappointed, our food was great especially for the price. It was a great find, we don't live far so we'll be back. We stopped here on a Tuesday with a party of 12 after a funeral service at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2 minutes down the road. It was the perfect place to unwind. The service was great and the food was excellent. I would recommend the wings (not breaded), the tenderloin sandwich/Caesar salad, poblano dip and the French onion soup. Had heard good things about this place so when another couple suggested we have lunch there, my wife and I jumped at the chance. We met there Sunday at noon, but I didn't realize they go all out for Packer games. We weren't able to chat much (because of the noise level), but I really liked the vibe, and will definitely come back on other game days. Plus, they run a Sunday AYCE ribs and fried chicken option for just $20. Fantastic deal! (even though I could only barely finish the first serving because of the huge portions). All in all, I had a very good (huge) meal, won a free drink and an additional chicken dinner (which I took home to my mother in law) because of the Packer game giveaways, and had a great time. We do this thing called " Saturday Night Yummies " as a way to try out new places within about 20 minutes from our home . For the last 2 years or so , we end up with takeout from TinCAN at least 3 weeks out of the month . Their food never disappoints and is always sooooo good ! We apparently have changed the rules of "Saturday Night Yummies " to let's go to TinCAN instead of trying someplace new ! This morning , before most even had breakfast , we were talking about who was gonna order what from TinCAN. There are 9 of us in the house and we all love TinCAN Roadhouse ! Came for lunch on a Sunday. Pleasantly busy. Not crazy. Steady stream of customers dining in, carrying out, and at the bar. Two larger groups came and went while we were there. Very efficient and friendly staff. Food came out quickly and was excellent. I especially liked the Philly steak. Instead of green peppers (which I'm not particularly fond of), they used red and yellow peppers, and they were cooked to perfection (not overly done or soft). Compliments to the chefs. Really good food! Service is hit or miss depending on how busy the restaurant is. They apparently don't take reservations or call ahead seating so when we left our house, the wait was 10 minutes and when we got there, it was over an hour. Stopped in for lunch today, they had one waitress in the place and she was slammed. I literally saw her pouring drinks at the bar, answering the phones, and serving at least 7 tables of people. I ordered the French onion soup and a BLT with sweet potato fries. The soup was hot and cheesy but super salty and very few onions. The BLT was excellent, great bread, lots of crispy bacon, and good tomatoes. The sweet potato fries were underwhelming. I had to change my rate from a 4 to a 1. Went to lunch with a friend I had steak she had shrimp. We both drank diet pop. Yes the place was very busy they seem to have a few regulars so they seem to get great service but us welp nope. Took forever to place our order and took almost 40 mins to get our food. Our appetizer came with the food and so did my french onion soup, our sodas came shortly there after. Waitress never came back to see it we needed anything. I had to go find her just to give her my money. Only one server and one bartender that we could see. Server seemed overwhelmed or new. Older lady long black hair kept popping up here and there but sure didn't look like she was helping her struggling staff. This is strike 2 normally you get 3 but with the money they charge just to ignore you and mediocre foor is not worthy. read more
