We had our floors installed a bit ago but figured a reviews was in order. The floors are beautiful, the sales man at the Turlock location is very friendly, helpful and responsive. Prices are fair. However like most things of this nature the salesman is always great the installers on the other hand... horrible. We were told they would do a room at a time leaving us space to still be able to function. Ha! First thing they did was ripped out all the crown molding in all rooms. Leaving wood particles all over the floors. They acted like they owned the place and it was honestly disgusting. Used our first bathroom like a porta potty. Every day after they left I had to bleach and scrub that toilet because my god was it horrific. They moved our furniture and threw the couch cushions on the ground. 3 cushions ended up with black stains of some kind. Everyday after they left they left the house in absolute shambles. Wood particles all over the floor on the finished and unfinished areas. Kids and pets walking on splinters isn't so great. I hate that a good business works with such poor installers. They left their equipment overnight which is fine. He said to me we are going to leave this here so make sure it's not touched, I said didn't plan on it. He replied you can if you want to you can use it to finish the job. WHAT A JOKE THESE 3 WERE. Did they get the job done, yeah sure. Did they conduct themselves professionally and respect our home and belongings-- NO. Was going to complain but what was the point the job was done and they were gone. Horrible ordeal to deal with. I can't stand installers who do this kind of thing. In response to owners comments. I never placed a complaint (as I stated in my review) so obviously you would not be able to find one. Yes it was 6-10 months ago. Like my review said I did not complain as I was so happy the ordeal was all said and done but wrote a review so other potential customers do not have to go through the hassle of installers like the 3 we got. There is no time limit of when a customer can write a review... like I said potential customers should know they may or may not have a similar experience. read more

General Manager was friendly and helpful, came to my home and measured everything, went into the show room picked my flooring and within a few weeks my new floors were installed. They installers demo'ed my old flooring throughout my house, disposed of it, cleanup after themselves with no hassels. The entire process took two days! Great job! read more

I wish I could give them 15 stars!! 5 for each perfect project. TriCounty has replaced carpeting in my rental a couple of times and both times were fast and on budget. But the real work came when they installed wood floors in my business. The work was detailed to say the least. The wood floors were going in to replace old carpeting and our work areas are filled with built-in work spaces. This created hundreds (literally) of tedious cuts to install the floor. Not only did they do a great job, but they scheduled the work to occur overnight as not to interrupt my business. In order to complete the job on the day planned, they worked a marathon the last night and got it done on time and on budget, again! They are now working on flooring in my mom's house. Her wood laminate flooring was damaged by a leaky refrigerator. Through the entire process TriCounty has helped her set up the insurance claim, select the best new floor for her, and even helped with my invalid grandmother's specialty equipment being relocated and then reinstalled into the floor. 3 different sites, 3 different types of work, and every time.... perfection!!! I could never overstate how great they are!! They will have all my business for as long as gravity continues to hold me down to the beautiful floors they've installed. read more

I was referred to them a little less than two years ago for vinyl bathroom flooring by Farmers. The first transaction went pretty smooth. I called on a Monday at 10am for the same bathroom, was told they have all the info still on file if I was still interested in the vinyl flooring that I had previously installed and I would have a quote shortly. The next day, I called back and was told it was a busy day the day before and that I would receive the quote in 30 minutes in my email. I still received nothing, so by mid-afternoon on Thursday I called Empire Today. They had someone at my house the next morning to show me samples and write up my sale. Not only did I get exactly what I needed but I decided to change carpet in one of my bedrooms, too. Needless to say my floors look amazing and TriCounty Flooring America lost out on a quick sale by a previous customer. read more

I was very happy with the customer service we received and the whole process at the store. My salesman was kind and patient. However, the contractor that did the work on my house did a horrible job completing it. While my flooring was complete, there were 3 rooms in my house were the base board was not cocked and left like that. My husband and I had to put hours of work into painting the baseboards and cocking them when I was told that they would be painted with my original estimate and cocked. When I called the store back to ask about painting the base boards they told me that was never included. The whole reason we went with them was because of cocking and painting of baseboards. I was very disappointed with that. If I would have known about that I would have went with another vendor. read more

I spent at least five months looking for flooring. Not sure what I wanted but I knew that hardwood would be my favorite. Did a lot of thinking and searching and decided to go with a luxury plank vinyl wood look floor. I have pets and grand grandchildren and knew this would be the best choice after doing much research. I found it at TriCounty Flooring America on Fulkerth Rd in Turlock. with the excellent assistance from Cayle the salesperson. My floor is beautiful. Looks real and sounds real when walking on it. Easy cleaning. No worries if something spills because it is waterproof!! It really is.You will never get better service than you will from this store.
