I'm given this Carpet store three stars. I've purchased tons of carpet here for years for multiple houses. I think the guy that runs it is very nice but so nice. It's kind of creepy because you know it's not genuine. The prices are no different than anywhere else and the selection is just like everywhere else ...: They have a few rows in stock that you could choose from ...take it or leave it and when you try to negotiate irrespective that your past customer, he'll just kindly say no ....I only go there because my wife likes to go there, but they are strange people disingenuous smiles, and disingenuous greetings just very odd. They are like relatives that you may have who are nice but when no one's around ...they are very rude to you. I may have forgotten the sales guys name but he was very knowledgeable and patient with us. My family and i were there until after closing hours finalizing our floors. I would like to highlight Richard Morris, the floor installer (he was referred to us by a neighbor friend that just got their floors done). Lisa and her team are incredibly kind, informative and understanding. We initially had their team stop by our house and quote us but went with our neighbor who's a GC and purchased all the supplies here. He ended up getting Covid and the project was delayed but we were worried we wouldn't be able to return the extra items we made. Lisa told us if it's still in stock and boxes were unopened we wouldn't have a problem and 4 months later our floors were finish and we were able to return any unopened boxes. The selection wasn't as huge as other areas but they are family owned, communicative, and helpful. We found the service more valuable then saving a couple bucks somewhere else. It's a headache to do any renovation and they made our life so much better! We're coming back when we are ready to update my daughter's home. read more

We wanted to put the same wood flooring that we have throughout our downstairs in our Master bedroom, but they no longer had the flooring. It has been a few years. Just recently had our floors done with floor trader and couldn't be happier! I'm in love with our new flooring. We used their recommended installers and they did a great job! The whole process took about two months which was a bit long for someone impatient like me but it was worth the wait. And by a long process I mean we went in picked out flooring, then had to have floor trader come out and take their measurements, then we had to wait for a quote, then we had to make a deposit, then we finally got a date booked for the flooring to be installed so after all was said and done it was about two months later. We had our living room, kitchen, and hallway done. The installers showed up at 7:45 am and had the job done by 2pm. We will definitely be going back to floor trader for our next project! read more

Selection is good. The customer service at the store is informative and not overbearing. I had my downstairs floor done in laminate. I liked the efficiency and quickness of the supplier. The installation is a separate contractor the store provides. They sent a contractor named John Gomes. He came out to do the estimate for the labor. It was roughly the same amount as the laminate per square foot. There is an additional cost for the wall moulding installation. It would have been nice if they painted the mounding the same color as our walls especially since they actually painted the moldings. Now we have to repaint our walls or repaint the moulding. I would not recommend the installation. The work for installation was done very poorly. My entry doors were not shaved down so my door constantly jams against the flooring. I have to fight with the door daily and I jam my fingers sometimes. There was a section that they laid concrete to even out the floor and they did a bad job doing that because there is no gradual decline. They could have easily lengthened the concrete. The workers who came out to the house smoked and left their cigarette butts scattered around. They left our house a dusty mess when they were finally done. It took them an extra day to finish. For the cost of installation, I expected a professional result. The base moulding was scuffed you. There are spots where they cut the moulding too short. There is spot on the floor where the laminate does not extend to the wall so there is a hole in the flooring. I could list all the flaws in the installation but it becomes quite saddening to think that I wasted a lot of money. It costs roughly four to five thousand for this poor job. We even walked through with the contractor listing our concerns before the project even started. read more

I went to several flooring stores to purchase laminate flooring for my new home. Not really knowing what to look for, I was quoted $14,000 in one place with a $400 delivery fee, other places didn't have the time for you, or didn't have a good selection. I was getting frustrated. They actually gave us a lesson on flooring & what to look for. What the 5mm & 20 Mil meant and the types of padding built into the panels, etc. it was an eye opener & greatly appreciated. There was absolutely no pressure. I quickly made my selection but wasn't ready to buy. They were very accommodating and easy to work with. I visited the store several times & each time it was a great experience. I purchased the flooring I really wanted at 1/2 the cost & higher quality than the competitors and guess what??Only $60 for the delivery up to 10 miles! Very unsatisfactory work preformed. This is what it looked like when the job was finished. I called the store and sent pictures they said they would have someone come out to look at it. They didn't seem concerned with the way it looked and I never heard back from them. If you want your floor to look like this and don't want a call back this is your store. Update - I waited 5 days for a call back from you ( 7 days if you count to voice mail left ) and you didn't call back until after the yelp review. The installer had already been out 2x's to fix the flooring, of course I didn't want them back. Your store helped pick out flooring and knew it was for the laundry room and knew about the drain.
