    Perfect description of the pizza!

Loved this place. The sign is right! Pizzas were just the right size for lunch and the salad ingredients were extremely fresh. Service was exactly what you would expect with a small hole-in-the-wall like this. Loved the ambiance.

    Italy trip December 2025: 100 % correct

Italy trip December 2025: This was such a great find. The owner is quite proud of her establishment and her enthusiasm permeated the air as much as the aroma of her incredible food. Service: Walk in, place order, and wait to be amazed. She is so cute engaging in conversation and for us obvious tourists she asks where you're from. Why because she calls out your pick up by your response. San Diego!!!!!" I heard "Melbourne!!!" as well as "Brazil!!!!" It's a little place, maybe seats for 20? Seat yourself after your order. We got lucky and hit a lull in the traffic. When we left there was a line out the door. Food! Being that this was our first non-hotel meal of the trip this was awesome. Pizza dough is crisp yet chewy on the inside. The ingredients are fresh and plentiful. We ordered three pizzas: carbonara, amatricana, and a truffle. Also we tried a traditional Roman treat called a suppli. This was a deep fried risotto ball filled with meat and cheese. So...damn...good. Dessert-okay...she has a sign that literally says "Tiramisu Fucking Amazing". Homemade. The sign wasn't lying. This is a must when you're in Rome

Pepperoni pizza and black angus pizza! Both were great!

Omg! Pizza fucking amazing! Honestly everything was delicious. Not a lot of seating but food and atmosphere are great. The staff is enthusiastic and engaging so would highly recommend stopping in. The signs are hilarious also. 5 stars!

Guys were comical dealing w/ our special Americano request! I added chicken to the margarita pizza. They gave a ton of chicken on it. We also got the Baratta pizza which was loaded w/ cheese. The breaded Cheese ball was super tasty. The chocolate chip cookie was effing amazing too.

I enjoyed the pizza. Prices were very reasonable in the 10 euros range. Cozy ambiance. Service was nice. Open till late. Would eat here again

Who shrunk my pizza? Tiny but mighty pizzas. They were all 4-5 euros and exceptionally delicious. We had the pepperoni because we obviously needed to compare the good 'ole American vs Italian. Definitely Italian won hands down. I'd skip the aranchini rice balls as they are microwaved. Looks like they've been sitting for a while and then reheated. This is an order at the counter and sit down until your state gets called. We were "California." The place is small. The air conditioning is weak and I'd place myself close to the tables near the outside. That said, this was one of the best pizzas!

All out fun - great pizza, excellent service and a good vibe. When you want pizza in a fun atmosphere try Trieste. The staff will welcome you upon entry.

Trieste Pizza in Rome is a delightful find near the Colosseum. The Margherita and the daily special mushroom pizza were both exceptional, showcasing a thin crust with just the right balance of crunch and chew. The tomato sauce was especially memorable, bursting with a natural sweetness that elevated every bite. I think I rather like these types of pizza than the American counterpart. The service was excellent. While it's clear the area caters to tourists--with everyone walking in speaking English and the menu on the wall featuring English translations--it didn't detract from the experience. The welcoming atmosphere and high-quality ingredients made it a standout meal. If you're in the area and looking for authentic yet approachable pizza, Trieste Pizza is worth a visit.

Cool little place with great pizza and a great atmosphere. Service was thoughtful and fun. You order from counter, they call out your home country or state when it's ready. Would definitely go back.

Stopped by as our last meal in Rome before taking off to the airport. It's probably a good thing that was the case because this place was so good and we would've come back every meal! The mini personal pizzas are great because you can order a couple and try a greater variety of pizzas. Both of ours were so good (prosciutto and Italian sausage). Service was very fast and vibes are great with a couple cute shops nearby. Added bonus for being very cheap!

Great spot to have mini pizzas! Very different vibe from a traditional Italian pizzeria, but it's not a bad thing. As a tourist, it was great coming in and trying a bunch of different pizzettas. The staff were very nice. The pizzas themselves weren't the best we've had in Italy, but it was definitely a fun spot that allows for a ton of variety for people who want small bites or a quick snack on their trip. Our favorite one was the Margherita - keeping it nice and simple, but all were great!

    Sausage, mozzarella cheese

Unique flavors we heard it from a friend handmade brick oven all at reasonable prices we chose several small ones to try a different flavors and if you get two smalls or even three, they're still about the same price as a large. Tiramisu decent.

    Margarita and pork/broccoli rabe

Delicious pizza for our last meal in Rome! We were greeted by a very enthusiastic host who took our order and immediately welcomed us inside. He was so happy that it made us want to eat there! I got two smalls and my husband got a large which was perfect for us. I got to try two flavors: the margarita and one with pork sausage/broccoli. Both were amazing in their own ways, and prices were also reasonable.

Pizzas were AMAZING! There was only one person working at the front and he was super fast and helpful.

Best pizza in Rome by far. It's just better, crunchier, tastier! From the margherita and beyond, all fantastic.

Their hours of operation were inaccurate online and that led me to travel 15 minutes just to get to a closed restaurant

( separate menus for tourist with higher prices, plus tourist pays an extra 2.50 euros per person to just be seated, and 4 euros for water) This isn't a high end restaurant to charge 16-18 Eros for a small portion pasta dish, of Carbonara, Fettuccine Bolognese and Penne ala' Sorentina. We were really hoping for things to taste better with a 4.3 rating, especially in Rome. The bolognese sauce had a dirty water tase, the Penne ala' Sorentina sauce was too sweet, and the Carbonara was just okay, portions were just small. Nothing tasted like fresh pasta or sauces. I'm giving them the 2 stars for the Bruschetta, that was on point, the tomatoes were perfectly seasoned. Don't waste your money or time.

Amatriciana had crispy pancetta on top, the best I found this trip. The ravioli was mouthwatering with a sage leave for presentation. Very pleased with our dinner. Reservation made a few hours earlier online. Very easy. But let's highlight the best part, Alfredo. I'm not sure if he is the manager or the owner or just an employee with a lot of heart. But you can tell he loves his job, he loves the restaurant, and he loves the guests. He chatted with each table. Personally delivered our limoncello and check. The food was great, but even if it was average we would still recommend eating here because he was wonderful.
