My 87 yeard old mother has a pest service that she likes. This company came to the door and she told them that. He didn't leave and she said she only needed the beetles gone. They said for $100 they could do that. She paid them a check and that was it... Now we have have creditors calling because they said she signed a contract for a year service and now she owes $200. I had them send me the contract and IT IS NOT HER SIGNATURE!!! When I told them that they replied that the independent contractor has been ethical so they believe him.. I pulled up the ring camera footage and she never signed anything! OMG Beware of this company!!! They take advantage of the elderly! read more

Beware of 30 day cancellation! Shady practices, and poor customer service! I was with TriGaurd for over a year. When I cancelled my service, a rep said they had to come pick up the bait boxes, and asked if the last appointment time worked I said yes. Then they tried to charge me $120 for that service call, saying they had a 30 day cancellation notice policy. Which is an absurd amount of time. Multiple escalated calls with reps: "It's policy" "It's policy" "it's policy". No reversals. Wouldn't do any kind of "loyal customer" charge reversal. nothing. read more

Do NOT use! I had a sales rep come to my door and ask if I needed pest control. I told him very explicitly that I just needed one, and he said I could sign up and then just cancel the remainder for the year when they're due. Their tech was there and did the spray. When it was time to for the next spray, I called to cancel, but I was told that is not what was agreed upon, to which I discussed what I had been told. TriGuard responded that I signed up for a full year and each additional spray is 150 (around there) and in order to cancel, it would be 300+ dollars. I should have not believed their local rep. The one I used in previous years just charged me for a spray without a contract. The services are the same, and consumers shouldn't be misled into agreements with false words and lengthy contracts. Do NOT use TriGuard - there are a lot of pest companies out there, and this one does not deserve our business based on their billing practices. read more

Door to door scam artists. Watch out for their criminal sales people. They dont show you a contract and then give it to you after the cancellation deadline. Try us and we will sue your arse. The bank we use said they would be pulling our payment back from you and fighting everything you try. read more

Buyer Beware! I am writing this based on their business practices, not their pest control service. I had a door to door sales person come this summer about this service. I was lead to believe that I could try out a couple of applications then decide if I wanted to continue. He did say that to see the full effects of the treatment I would need a full three applications. I just got another notice that I have an application scheduled for next week and I called the office to cancel. I was told that I signed a 12 month agreement and that I would be charged a 75% cancellation fee and sent to collections if I didn't pay. I accept responsibility for not fully reading what I was signing and If you are considering this company, please fully read what you are signing and understand you are agreeing to 12 months of service, whether you want it or not. I was feeling kind of stupid for falling for this, but go look at their BBB reviews and other yelp reviews. I am not the first person this has happened to, and I am sure I won't be the last. read more

This company used predatory practices and sales, targeting elderly. My friend who is 80 years old and does not communicate well in english was talked into a contract with them by unsolicited salesperson. When the service provided did not match what she was told she would get she attempted to cancel one year contract and is being held to a fee of 75 percent of contract balance. Their prices are three times that of local contractors. They keep pestering her to pay up and we have told them we will not and to cease calls. However they continue to call and harass her for collection. I am going to file a complaint with the Washington State AG's office on her behalf to see if anything can be done This woman lives on a fixed income and cannot afford this. I feel their sales practices are border line illegal. Will see what AG has to say read more

TRIGUARD IS A FRAUDULENT AND DESPICABLE COMPANY... Wish it was possibles to give negative reviews. Salesman comes to door, offers a quarterly pest control, I tell him no, and ask about 1 time service. Sure no problem. Wants cc to charge , I say no I'll pay cash, he says fine, but I have to sign for service. Come to find out I was lied to and am now locked into a $500+ service contract, that I SPECIFICLLY asked NOT to be enrolled. Now they want a early termination fee, of 70% value. I specifically asked when I signed and was told no worry it's in the notes. Today I call to cancel...guess what it's nowhere in notes and I'm stuck. TRIGUARD IS A FRAUDULENT AND DESPICABLE COMPANY... I cannot recommend using TriGuard Denver to exterminate rats! TriGuard installed three bait boxes around my house to control a persistent rat infestation at one location in my back yard on 29 May 2024. As of 19 June 2024 - 21 days of treatment - there were still healthy rats in the original location. When I called TriGuard for advice, they suggested that the poison bait may have been completely eaten. If true, why didn't the rats die? When I said I wanted to cancel the contract, they did not offer to troubleshoot. Instead, they reminded me that I had to pay a 75% early-cancellation penalty, and that I should continue the full contract to avoid that loss. (Yes, the penalty was clearly stated in the contract, but I trusted the treatment to eliminate the rats.) The treatment didn't work, so why should I continue to pay? While this is an expensive lesson to have learned, I am saving 25% by cancelling now to avoid continuing to pay for an ineffective treatment. If you are considering using TriGuard for any pest control, be wary that you are signing up for one year of service, whether the treatment works or not. read more
