Came here to get sandwiches to go as we were on our way to the Caves. We love supporting local businesses. We came in and there was a line. It took us about 10 minutes to finally order. Then we were told it would take 15 minutes to get our 3 sandwiches. It took 40 minutes. It was shocking. So my recommendation is go here if you have time to spare. Maybe grab a coffee and donut as you wait. The food was good (even though the club did not have the sliced steak we ordered but all ham). I can tell this is a local hub for the area. In the future, when I'm asked, "Can you have too much Bleu Cheese?" I can now say "Yes. Yes you can." The Trillium Bakery's tri-tip sandwich had so much Bleu cheese that it overwhelmed the salty tri-tip AND the garlic aoli (which tasted like a cross between cream cheese and ranch dressing... noticed nothing being said about any garlic flavor. ) I spent the majority of my time there picking off what Bleu cheese that hadn't already melted in. The bread looked good, but I couldn't really say how it tasted, since so much else was slathered on it. My wife's portobello sandwich was just OK (hence the second star). Stopped on our way home from Cali. I had a 5** breakfast sandwich, English Muffin/sausage, pepperjack cheese, perfect fried egg. Hub had a 5** Cobb Salad, lean perfectly cooked bacon, avocado, egg..... Hub also had the most delicious lemon filled donut. Everyone was very friendly and the restaurant and bathroom were spotless. Their whole staff is AMAZING and the food is the best you're going to find in this town :) Always delicious specials, which today was a waffle breakfast sandwich. It was delicious. Fridays they usually have homemade croissants that I get on a breakfast sandwich too. Saturdays they have kolaches which are amazing little breakfast pocket type bread balls with egg meat and cheese inside! The donuts are always a hit. You can't go wrong. Amazing salads! A magical bakery stop when hungry while on the road! So much more than a bakery they serve a pretty large breakfast/brunch/lunch menu with house baked pastries, turnovers, cookies and more available too. My partner ordered the breakfast burrito with sausage and I had the everything bagel sandwich - both were SO GOOD! And large too! We took them to go for the road & ate every bite. The ladies were there were friendly and kind and so helpful to all their customers coming and going. Donuts weren't anything special. Fillings are just your run of the mill, packaged franken-fillings and donuts tasted like a basic donut mix (not scratch made). I do know they bake fresh from scratch sandwich bread and would come back and try a sandwich. It's too bad they don't have the bread for sale more consistently but if you call ahead in the mornings you can see if they have any spare loaves you can buy. read more

Stopped here on the drive back home to Seattle after vacations at National Parks. Great little bakery - my kids had the donuts (maple bar and chocolate sprinkle.) They said they were tasty! The croissant was housemate, there was a hearty amount of bacon, it was perfectly salty with a bit of sweetness. I got a maple bar donut and their smoked donut. Finally stopped and had breakfast. I had the bacon and Gouda Sammy and my partner had the veggie scramble with their wheat toast. We both enjoyed our breakfast. They put these gigantic sprouts on both selections and they were delicious! We got a Bavarian cream filled donut with chocolate on top and a blueberry donut to go for later. The blueberry donut was very good. I chose the Bavarian filled one, and for me it was ok. But all in all very tasty meals.They have one table outside and 4 inside. Free refills on coffee, and the sign said open 7 days a week. Would I eat there again? Definitely! Would I encourage people to patronize the bakery? Absolutely! It's a hidden gem that is worth trying. The ladies were friendly and actually smiled at the counter, and the food came out in a reasonable time frame. Next trip over, I want to try lunch.
