I just left the dark cluttered shop after pointing out a couple concerns. They told me the lines, which look like tooling scratches to me, are actually solution under the film that will evaporate or cure and disappear in a few days. We'll see. They look at feel like damage to me. I've had other tint shops do work that didn't look like this. I failed to read all the 1 star reviews before I came by on a recommendation. waste of time I went to get one window tinted because they priced matched me for 75 then they messed up putting it on the first time so they decided to charge me 95 because they had to heat shrink it more so I told them if they couldn't do 75 I'm leaving the place is dysfunctional as hell read more

Not a happy customer. Took my 2023 Kia EV6 for Lumnar PPF. There we're two large bubbles on the right mirror. I made an appointment to bring it back in for him to fix it. Arrived at his place of business a few minutes early and the place was locked up. No one answered my knock on the door. I immediately called ad got his answering machine. I lifted a message but no return call from Ken. I am not sure what's going on with this business but I would not go there for any service. read more

I made the mistake of taking my brand new car here. Please avoid this place as they do not provide a professional job any longer. (This is a friend of mines family) I dropped my car off at 8:30am. I thought it was strange that they had it all day and I didn't receive any calls so I showed up at 4pm to find 4/10 windows completed. Ken said his daughter was sick in the morning which delayed the tint. They rushed the last 6 windows which created an access level of bubbles. I presented my concerns and they assured me that they would go away once the tint cures to the windows. I gave the tint a week and still 5-10 bubbles in each window. I then called to get my car back in as they said they'll make it right. We scheduled another day to have the car repaired to find out upon arrival they over booked themselves and weren't able to fix all of the bubbles and said they would refund me for the back window as it wasn't easy to redo. While trying to repair the windows his daughter burnt my plastic door pillars using a heat gun to remove the moisture from bubbles. I asked for a complete re-tint and they refused. I then asked for my money back and they refused. Their shop is a disaster with garbage everywhere. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

Ken and his staff at Tint and Trim are AWESOME. I have a little VW New Beetle and wanted to spiff it up with some tint. Calling a detailer who did tint I was given a nice price quote. Calling back to make the appointment, however, they jacked the quote by more than *double*, stating that the Beetles were just tough as no surface in them are flat, but rather curved and that makes tinting hard. I get that... but more than double?? So I hit the web and searched, and found some great reviews for Ken and his staff at Trim and Tint. I called him up and explained my dilemma, and he noted it was indeed a harder vehicle, but he'd have no trouble doing it. His base quote was right in line with what others had given. He told me there was a small increase in charge for time (about 10%) but that was it. Price was great. And even better, I asked when he could get it done... he said he already had two cars scheduled for the very next day, but could I bring it in that evening? Heck yeah! So I dropped it off late that afternoon just as they closed. (I wasn't in a hurry, per se, but I was excited to get this done, and getting something sooner is always better than later! LOL.) When I arrived, he showed me the options in tint level, talked honestly about what wouldn't / might / would draw the wrong kind of attention from those who write tickets, and helped me make a choice. They called me mid morning the following day to say it was done! The tint is PERFECT. And I mean perfect. He told me in advance that he'd have to split the back window into two pieces, and he'd try to hide the line around a defroster bar. Indeed he did on both counts. I love the way the car looks, and it makes a HUGE difference in how it feels -- and I could really tell as it was the week we had 100 degree temps!! Great job and friendly staff. Ken was fantastic talking me through the different possibilities and options. We agreed to which one we wanted and then the kindly drove me to my next appointment. Very nice. The only reason for not five-star is that there's an extra surcharge of $5 when using a credit card (even though the work is over $200). I understand credit card companies charge the merchant and some merchants want to recover their cost but CC's are kind if part of normal business now. Would still highly recommend their services!!! read more

Made a 100 mile round trip to his shop for professional tint job like advertised by his website. I figured with his experience and 5 star ratings and being a Llumar dealer he would do a great job. Windows were not cleaned properly smudges between tint film and glass. Air bubbles in both windows. Tint will have to be redone. I didn't get any Llumar paperwork for their lifetime warranty. I called and spoke with a very nice lady who assured me they would make it right, made me a appointment for the next week. That morning I receive a call from Ken stating his help didn't show and his wife was sick said he couldn't do the repair at that time. He said he would get back with me for a appointment. Waited a week and no call, so I call him to make appointment he was very short and cranky with me as if I was putting him out. Bottom line is I paid premium money for a premium tint job and received a substandard workmanship and very poor customer service. read more

I had a new vehicle tinted recently. After a couple weeks I noticed imperfections as though dust or grit was between the tint and the window. I returned to the owner, described the problem, the tint was removed, and new tint installed. Perfect. I will continue to use this installer. read more

Very disappointed in the tint job, does not guarantee the tint, he is a liar. I brought my veh in spotless, came to pick it up it was dirty(dusty) and immediately caught passenger side had a huge streak, pointed it out to Ken and he says oh if you want I can fix that, excuse me of course you are going to fix that. As if he wanted me to miss it somehow. The following week brought my car in spotless and again it was covered in tree sap. I wanted to cry, brand new car, and it's filthy. That same window covered in bubbles and partials. When I complained he said well I'll give you a refund, after I said ok, I want a refund, he quickly began to back pedal while desperately trying to flatten the bubbles with his card. Even Ken made the comment well this is more bubble then I'd like to see and I even pointed to a huge bubble in the back window. I just wanted to cry; I was referred and completely regret coming here. He has a dirty shop, overpriced and doesn't guarantee his work. Then added another punch line well if you can bring me a note from another tint dealer that states it's a bad tint job I'll give you a refund, you should be ashamed of yourself, Listen people Ken will not refund your money. Even if he does a bad job he wants payment in cash. Then in his words take me to court. Looks like his been in this situation before. Also prior to going I read the reviews online. I just hope people come forward who had a bad tint job done on their veh. He then added another twist stating well I'll give you back your money but I'll deduct $125. I just wanted to cry at this point, worked so hard to buy myself a new car and saved to get professional tint and to be treated like this by Ken. I ended going to another tint shop and first thing out of his mouth "shit that's a bad job", he should have fixed it no questions asked. Plus I was the second person at No Limitz Tint complaining of Ken's lousy work, there was another guy before me in a Truck, who is actually coming back to have him fix it. I went here for the clear bra on my brand new Porsche. I found him on the 3M site as a certified installer. I made an appt for 8:00 am 2 weeks in advance. We had an hour drive to get to Salem. We got there at 8 and told them we would be hanging around town while waiting for it to be done. I was told by Margaret that Ken had left to do another job and would be back in an hour or so. I said I had an apt at 8am! If he wasn't going to be there until 9 or 9:30 why wasn't I called? She said they would get it done in 5 hours and it would be finished by 2pm. I called at 1 to see how the job was going and they had ONLY WASHED THE CAR! Ken told me there were several more hours to do. Long story short, it wasn't done until 6pm! 9 hours later! He said his wife had a Dr. appointment that went longer than expected, if that was the case, why wasn't I rescheduled or why wasn't her appointment made for another day?? When I went to pick it up there was a bubble on the bumper that he couldn't get out, when I complained, he said " nobody's perfect, I'm not Jesus!" Really?? I told him I was very upset, this is a very expensive car and he did a terrible job. He was rude and unapologetic about it, I am just supposed to live with it because he is terrible at his job. I complained to 3M but have yet to get a resolution on this. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They have no pride in their work, the shop is filthy and they are rude. I would give 0 stars if I could. I can only think the positive reviews came from friends or relatives and are fake. read more
