We would like to extend a HUGE thank you to the entire team at Trimani Ristorante for helping to make our wedding so incredibly special and perfect. Weeks later, we are still getting feedback from our guests raving about how delicious the food was! Robert and the head chef, Domenic, were absolutely wonderful to work with in planning out our menu, carefully taking into account our values and the various allergy and dietary restrictions of our guests. We expressed to Domenic that we wanted to do our best to create a locally-sourced and sustainable menu, while also trying to prevent as much food waste as possible. He took this to heart and went above and beyond to source high-quality ingredients from local producers, while also not hesitating to include ingredients from my Nonno's garden/farm, such as sage, basil, eggs, and honey. We SO so much appreciated the fact that he really respected these values and was able to infuse those into our wedding menu. They also helped to set up and provide recyclable takeaway containers to allow our guests to take home any leftovers from the antipasti, dinner, and desserts! We had no food waste whatsoever. Our guests were so happy to be able to take some of the delicious food home with them, and we also had peace of mind knowing that all of this high-quality food would not be wasted. I should also mention that we wanted this to be a meat-free wedding--probably unheard of in Italian culture! Domenic and Robert worked with us to ensure that we could provide a top-quality menu that would satisfy all of our guests, without including meat. We provided halibut fish as a main and some calamari for antipasti, with an array of vegetarian dishes including the super popular roasted butternut squash gnocchi with mushroom and sage sauce. They also SO successfully accommodated our request to have traditional Brazilian cheese bread available later at night, which they baked for us fresh on-site! This was a huge hit with our guests. We only received rave reviews from everyone on how fantastic everything tasted! We couldn't be happier!! Given that our wedding took place in the midst of COVID, the Trimani team worked with us to ensure that we were following precautions as best as possible. With their help, we were able to achieve this while still being able to comfortably enjoy our wedding day without worry. It was truly the most magical day ever. We can't thank the Trimani team enough for all of the love and care that they put into the planning and delivery of our delicious menu items, the beautiful setup, and the incredible service to our guests. Their professional experience was undeniably showcased in how they handled everything--from the management of their service and staff to the high-quality and incredibly tasty Italian food. We were very impressed with Trimani, on all levels!! We held our son's Communion Reception at Trimani and it was amazing. We started with a cocktail reception with custom made appetizers being served (i.e. short rib sliders, porchetta grilled cheese, etc.). Our guests were very impressed with the uniqueness of the appetizers, the taste and the beautiful presentation. Then we proceeded with the dinner portion of the reception. We had tagliatelle pasta served with their in-house made bread, followed by stuffed breast of chicken (stuffed with home made focaccia and prosciutto) with grilled shrimp, and later polenta with fruilano cheese served with mandarins. The food was delicious and even our most picky of older Italian guests were very satisfied!! The restaurant's manager, Robert, worked closely with us to select a menu that was exactly what we wanted...unique and not run of the mill. He was very accommodating and showed us appreciation in being his customers. He was always available to sit with us to answer questions or provide additional assistance where needed. It was great and he was great!! The in-house entertainer, Dwight Grant, added a great vibe to the entire event. His music and unique flair of entertainment had young and old alike feeling great (and the kids were also thrilled with his wide selection of music). The staff was friendly and quick. Overall, we were truly impressed with our entire experience at Trimani from beginning to the end. I have had dinner a few times at Trimani and have always been blown away by the quality of the delicious food and excellent service, as such, I booked a private family celebration for a Sunday afternoon. When we arrived, the table setting was impeccable and we were pleasantly surprised to have a private jazz pianist/singer performing for our little party. Our meal began with beautiful cocktails and unique hors d'hoeuvres served on decorated trays by wandering waiters as our guests mingled and enjoyed the music. I gave the chef carte blanche with the hors d'hoevres selections and they were absolutely amazing. We had mini zucchini canneloni, meatball sliders, Asian scallops and Italian sushi (really!!). The first course was orecchiette pasta with rapini which was a perfect light pasta. Our main course offered a choice of pan seared rainbow trout or fire roasted lamb chops with tiger shrimp both served with rice pilaf and seasonal vegetables, also fulfilling and mouth-watering. Other than the amazing menu options, the food was so tasty, flavourful and cooked to perfection. Further, I had casually mentioned to the owner that one guest was sensitive to garlic which the owner remembered and made accommodations for that individual. As well, my daughter is nut-free which all the staff were made aware of and thereby ensured her safety. Our guests were delighted with the exceptional meal and outstanding service and we were thrilled to have had such a wonderful family celebration. Last Friday, we celebrated our daughter's Sweet 16 at Trimani Ristorante. It was a wonderful party for her, her 15 friends and ourselves and we are so grateful to Robert, Melissa, Dwayne, the chef and all the stuff there, for the exemplary way they organized everything and for the outstanding service. The menu was chosen in advance with Robert's help and advice. The antipasto appetizer was wonderfully prepared and the presentation exquisite - a very impressive way to start the evening. It was followed by the "best pasta I ever ate", as per many of the girls - and some have Italian background :). The chicken main dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The timing for each dish was perfect for the night. The service was very attentive and professional and all the girls felt so well taken care of. We, the parents were able to relax and enjoy the evening, the meal and a glass of wine from the very good selection, without a worry. Dwayne, the pianist and singer ensured a classy song selection, yet very entertaining for the 16 years old girls and us :). It was so important for us to make this a nice and memorable night for our daughter, her friends and ourselves, and we are really happy we chose Trimani Ristorante. Thank you! I had the pleasure of working with Rob, the owner of Trimani Ristorante for my daughter's recent communion. Rob was professional, knowledgeable and accommodating throughout the entire process. I was extremely pleased with the lunch reception. The restaurant is clean, modern and beautiful. Rob and his staff helped to set up the room and the tables as I requested. The service was outstanding. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. We ordered pizza, calamari, mussels and antipasto boards as our appetizers and we were not disappointed. The penne alla vodka, braised beef and grilled salmon were also top notch. The servers consistently catered to all the guests from beginning to end. The live entertainer provided by Trimani, Mellow Dee - singer and pianist, was just exceptional. He sang everything from Earth, Wind and Fire to John Legend to Drake. People were on their feet dancing. The live music created a fun, energetic ambiance for adults and kids alike. Overall, a wonderful customer experience! I have been to Trimani several times and once again it was an amazing experience. From the moment we walked in the door, Robert, Sergio and Haim made sure we were well taken care of. We started with King City salad, which is made with tomatoes harvested from Robert's mother-in-laws garden. WOW! I wish I had ordered one to go for later on. We both followed Robert's recommendation and had the brick chicken for our main. We were not let down, it was simply amazing! For dessert we shared the red velvet tiramisu, which was the perfect way to end a fantastic meal. My compliments to Chef Dominic, you certainly outdid yourself. When we were leaving Robert, Sergio and Haim each individually thanked us for coming and wished us well. What a wonderful experience! I can't wait to go again!! read more

I had my 60th birthday party at Trimani Restaurant the other evening. It was absolutely amazing. The food was authentic Italian, was served on time, was hot and very flavourful. Their service and the restaurant itself was impeccable. To top it off, their live entertainment was the icing on my cake. The singer got us up dancing and made me feel extra special during her performances. Robert and his crew are very well trained and go out of their way to make sure that all is well. We have known Robert, the owner for over 25 years. He is a dedicated restaurant owner and takes pride in his work. We recently celebrated our daughter's First Communion at Trimani Ristorante. Our experience with Rob and his staff was exceptional. First, Rob was very accommodating when the celebration was first cancelled due to COVID and we had to reschedule with him. He was understanding and very helpful with the planning which made our celebration a success! From the moment we met Rob we knew it was going to be a great night! Second, the service was impeccable and the food was fantastic! We received many compliments from our family on how authentic the meal was. We scheduled my sons Baptism early this year and when Covid hit, Robert (the Owner) was more than accommodating to have it catered. The Baptism was this past weekend and we had the food picked up. His staff had written on every container the warming instructions and the food was impecable. We were disappointed that we couldn't go to the restaurant because its beautiful inside, but it just gives us more of an incentive to go back. We couldn't have asked for better service and to top it off, they added extras to our order. So incredibly impressed by Robert and his Chef! One word - Fabulous! This restaurant is a hidden gem. My husband and I and friends went there for dinner last night and were blown away by the fantastic food. The highlight of our meal were the stuffed gnocchi with ricotta in a rose sauce and were absolutely delectable. The fish fritto misto had a variety of seafood including calamari, halibut, smelts and scallops - wonderful. A few of us had the veal with portobello mushrooms and it was melt in your mouth tender and cooked to perfection. We have had private functions here over the last few years and we were very pleased! The owner and his staff are hospitable, friendly, and professional. The food was always delicious and neatly placed on our dishes. The menu was served in a comfortable timing allowing us to socialize amongst ourselves. The restuarant has a clean, fresh, neutral decor which allows table decoration to stand out, which adds a nice touch! Absolutely fantastic experience with Rob at Trimani. We chose his restaurant for our wedding reception and while it did not work out due to COVID-19, Rob was nothing short of spectacular or understanding of the situation. Have been going to Trimani for years. They have renovated to expand their footprint without sacrificing the quality of their food or their excellent service. The antipasto is fabulous and the variety of items on the menu provides a choice for every palate. Their wine list is extensive and our recent choice of a Valpollicella Repaso was smooth yet inexpensive. I've dined with my family, a large group, and attended a baby shower and have never been disappointed. Wish I had taken some photos from my last experience to back up this review. Try it! read more
