Absolutely amazing! I loved my experience even throughout these times with Covid where it's difficult to feel relaxation at a spa with so many rules in place by the state. They made me feel so comfortable but I was immediately impressed as soon as I walked in. It was such a gorgeous place there is some thing in there for anyone. And I've been dying to look for a place where I can get everything that I need to do in one please saves me the drive and I love it! definitely coming back for more. I checked in so this review may say the same thing I had a wonderful experience. You check in and they do a temperature and oxygen level check. Everyone at the front desk wore a mask and were very friendly. The doctor asked a lot of questions and addressed my concerns. There were no pressured upsale or add-ons. Unprofessional staff - especially a woman named Mondonna (sp?). After her unprofessional behavior with me, I asked if she was the manager and she replied that she "was working in the back today." Here's what happened: My appointment was rescheduled a couple of weeks ago. On Thursday, two days before the original appointment, I got a confirmation text. I added it to my calendar thinking I must've forgotten to do that when they rescheduled. When I told the receptionist that I got a confirmation text she said "yeah, our system has been sending information incorrectly since someone quit." What? You knew this and just continue to send incorrect information to your clients? Unfortunately, her saying that they were aware of the misinformation being sent, the time it took to get prepared for the appt, the drive, and the fact that I changed plans to be there on the date and time that THEY TEXTED AND CONFIRMED, frustrated me. I was standing there, numb in the areas that were to be treated. Since I used up the numbing cream I bought last time I was there, I asked receptionist if I could get a new tub of numbing cream. She went in the back for a few minutes, then came out and said "she'll be out with the cream in a minute." A women came out hold the little tub of cream and in a passive-aggressive tone said "Even though we called and rescheduled, here is some numbing cream anyway." I said "You sound frustrated with me." She said "Well I wish you would've called to confirm." I responded that never before has a company confirmed the wrong date with me so I figured I missed something." Like many of us, I'm a busy person with a full schedule so I simply added it to my calendar - it didn't even cross my mind that it had mistakenly been sent. In a snarky tone she replied, "And that is why I'm giving you this cream." I was stunned. The customer service was unprofessional and inconsiderate. I understand mistakes happen, but cruel behavior towards a customer is baffling to me. I hope management addresses this behavior so future, potential customers are treated with kindness and respect. ***UPDATE*** Thank you for addressing the text reminder that confirmed the wrong appt date, Jay. However, you did not mention anything in your response about the way your employees treated me. While the miscommunication caused an unintentional inconvenience, the mistreatment by your staff was deliberately unkind. read more

I had high hopes for the spa. My appointment was cancelled for being 7 minutes late. The front desk attendant advised the PA is booked so tightly the PA has little time. I was also advised the paper work can take up to 15 minutes to complete even thought it is electronic would not recommend the facility due to how tightly and rigidly they are booked and the 15 minutes worth of paper work. I have not experienced a spa that was so un-accommodating to a customer especially when it appeared completely empty. I chose not to rebook especially since being advise they PA is allotted very little time to perform the service. Take note as it essentially is located at the very edge of San Marcos /Escondido. Plan ahead for potential extra travel time if you thought it was San Marcos proper. read more

I found Lavande Spa on Groupon while looking for Botox deals. When I came in to redeem my Groupon I was very impressed with the location and staff. The office is beautiful and the staff are friendly and accommodating without being pushy. I've even sent my husband here for a massage which he loved. I signed up as a member after my first visit because the member perks are awesome. Since my first visit I've come back for a facial and have an appt for laser hair removal. Save yourself the disappointment and go to a reputable spa in San Diego. I went to Lavande for hair services, (cut, color, highlights) and had the very worst hair experience I have ever had. One week prior to making the appt I had sent Lavande pictures of my hair at the time and pictures of what I wanted my hair to look like so that the stylist would have plenty of time to review and come up with the best solution. The day before my appt I got a call to come in at 10am rather than at my 12pm appt. I took the additional time off work and was there in the lobby at 9:50am. I then proceeded to sit in the lobby until 10:30 waiting for the stylist. The sink and the commercial hair dryer did not work so I had to sit to the side while those items were rigged for use. All said and done, my hair looked nothing whatsoever like what I was trying to achieve and the cut was absolutely not worth the $70 I paid. When I called the spa later that day to discuss my disappointments and ask for my hair to be fixed they made the appointment for a week later. I went in for my appt and the front desk apologized saying that the stylist was no longer with the company and my appt should have been canceled. They agreed to refund my hair services. 1 week later I still had not received the refund so I contacted the salon again and they said they were planning to refund $57 out of the full amount! I ended up canceling my microblading appt and all of the other spa services I had scheduled with them and will never go to Lavande again. There are many respectable, honest, and reputable spas in San Diego so there is no need to take the risk at Lavande. I highly recommend heading to San Diego to ensure you get what you pay for. read more
