I went in for a massage with my wife, the facilities are beautiful, and the rooms are gorgeous. However, the overall quality of the massage was poor. I asked for a deep tissue massage focusing on my upper and mid-back, hamstrings, and calves, keep away from the toes. I asked for very firm pressure. The massage therapist didn't read the notes because she gently ran her fingers on my back, making me ticklish, flinch and she went for the toes. There was no communication, and none of my tension concerns were addressed. If we are being honest I'm not satisfied. I circled around the area getting stuck in traffic trying to find the location thinking Lavande Spa would be big somewhere which it wasn't. I called the front desk, was told they didn't know how to get there, can't do anything for me and to keep trying maps... I finally found the medical center by walking in hoping to find it and only received about 20 mins of my hour couples massage. I didn't make a big deal but I personally felt this was unfair after driving 45 mins just to come to that spa. Was asked how my time was there, I expressed this exact message pretty much and was told they did the best they can do for me. $200 for a 20 minute massage. I have been eye balling this place for a while.... Brought the courage to try them out when I noticed Groupon promotions they have going on for different types services. I was reeled in and purchased a deal. I was content with what I paid. I called made an appointment and it was only about 3/4 days out so it was not bad. Set it up and registered all online. Got friendly reminders for upcoming appointment. As I arrived to my appointment, I rapidly got greeted from the friendly staff running the front desk. All the girls there were so nice. Easy check in process. I believe my appointment was set with Marie. Marie was extremely nice, made me instantly feel comfortable. I appreciate that. Took photos of my aging lines and discussed amounts based on areas. I will definitely come back to this location. You got a new customer plus the word of mouth of my experience will sure make others come in. I opened the Pandora box of Botox world a while back, but I can assure to all new wanting to try... this is a great location just based of the comfort level I felt from beginning to end. First time trying this spa place in San Marcos! I got a deal from groupon, $99, which is reduced from they're regular prices. I would definitely return again. They have great client care & know exactly what they are doing in terms of technique and massage. Due to traffic me & my friend were late, we notified the spa and they were very understanding once we got there, they helped us right away and the massage therapist were ready for us. I thought bc we were late our massage would be rushed and cut short, but to my suprise they took their time and gave us almost the full hour, which I appreciate so much. My massage therapist was Ellen, she was great and asked me what I needed in terms of massage and checked in on me during the massage. I hesitated to write this review as I never like to say anything negative but the longer I've dealt with what Marie did to my face the more upset I get. I went in a couple weeks back for my routine Botox and my first time lip filler with lavande. Marie is very knowledgeable in a lot of areas and seems to know all the right things to say until something goes wrong. After the swelling had gone down on my lips I noticed one side severely starting to droop when I smiled. It looks like I have just been to the dentist and one side of my face is numb. I went back to see her last week for a touch up to see what could be done to fix it. This is when I saw Marie take a turn and started gaslighting me making me feel as if I was the issue. She told me the issue wasn't the filler but rather that one muscle on the side of my face was stronger. Then went further to tell me that one of my cheeks were (exact quote) "old and hollow". I'm 32 for reference and Marie maybe you should learn to not give people complexes when they're coming to you to feel beautiful not point out every flaw about their face. My smile had NEVER been crooked like this prior to getting work done with her so the issue is not my face like she so wanted me to believe. Friends and family have all noticed and I feel like I can't even smile anymore. I left the touch up appointment in tears because of how horribly she spoke to me and what I am left looking like because of her work. She left me with the receptionist to give me a quote on how much it would be to fix my lopsided face, which was $750.00 TO FIX WHAT SHE DID. Taking absolutely no responsibility for what she had done and doing nothing to help. Instead doing everything she could to turn it around on me. At this point I would rather put dissolver in, be refunded for her shitty work and just get my smile back to normal. I want everyone to know what they're getting into before going here because if something does go wrong you're on your own to figure it out. The "professional" that you go to see and spend $1000 with will not help you. read more

My laser tech, Czarina, was amazing. I've been lasered for a Brazilian before, but this laser was a bit different. She took the time to explain everything. She made me feel so comfortable, she was so friendly and personable. The treatment went by super quick. This laser can glide so it's so much faster than all the other ones I've tried. My appt was 2 weeks ago and a significant amount of hair is gone from just 1 time. Im definitely going back for a series. They also have numbing cream you can get to apply 30 mins before. The results were not noteworthy, and 6 weeks after, it's as if I didn't get treated at all. 36 unites should have freezes my face for at least 4 to 6 months; since I only get 25 unites at my regular place. I found this spa through Groupon. I was interested in getting Botox and after reading the reviews on this spa I decided to give it a try. The minute I walked in I texted my husband and said, "this place is fancy". The essential oils were flowing throughout and it smelt so good. They took me back right at my scheduled time and Marie explained how many units Were recommended for the areas I wanted to treat. She showed me some before and after pictures of previous clients. I went here with a Groupon for 30 units of Botox. Got the Botox and after two weeks there was very little change to my forehead wrinkles. Went back in and got 10 more units ( that I had to pay for) and STILL NO CHANGE. I've gotten Botox before abs have never had it not work but because I moved to the area of Lavande I thought I would try them out. I don't know if they "water down" their Botox but I would not recommend them to anyone for Botox. Great place! I'm always skeptical of injection treatments at med spas yet the reviews of this place was good so I thought I would try them. I'm the biggest baby with injections and trying new practitioners are always a bit frightening for me. The beautiful front desk staff where so nice and helpful. The esthetician was very thorough with her evaluation and understanding of my fears. I couldn't feel the injections at all, and that never happens for me. DO NOT BUY A GROUPON FOR SERVICES AT LAVANDE SPA! It is AWFUL!!! This business is only interested in upselling their services, not in customer satisfaction or desires. I purchased 20 units of Botox with a Groupon and prepaid for an additional 5 units to take advantage of my Alle discount which expired prior to my appointment. At my appointment, the injecting nurse said she must inject me with 39 units. I was shocked. I've never had this experience. I said I couldn't afford it, nor did I want 39 units. For the past 6 years I've alway gotten 20 units, not to erase my wrinkles, but to prevent them from worsening. I asked her to please just give me what I paid for and treat my forehead and crows feet. She said she wouldn't, left the room and returned with her manager who also tried to convince me to get 39 units. I again asked for what I wanted. They refused and refunded my money. read more

My boyfriend and I did the couples massage off of Groupon and it was a great experience! Very clean and pretty facility. Our masseuses were very sweet and professional. It is located inside a big health building but it's the first office you see when you walk in so not hard to find. The Groupon was a good deal just don't forget about tip when factoring in how much you are going to spend - they are pretty aggressive about asking for gratuity (understandable). i was told the first consultation fillers one serenge would imeditaly work then i went back said could do 2 that i might show slightly improvment so i decided 1000 was not worth maybe but my first visit i was told i would get cream samples i had a 1000 of my money on hold but said next visit after your visit we give samples so second visit again said we give samples after you do fillers i saw a lady trying to figure out her foundation color and litterly was convinced the color she wanted they was out of convinced her the color they had was her color she realy didnt want that color but was told no its for you can i put in bag she didnt want it but was rushed to just take it i do think there good cosmedic spa and sure they do help.people and i do understand my situtation they can only offer what they can on budget but glad i went with my intution of two shots would of been a waste of money and asking two times for samples and told twice only after fillers well kind of cheap i was going to buy the cream but wanted to see witch one my face would handle any reation its just to much money to throw away read more
