Great people over at Trinity Auto Haus! They helped me out big time with diagnosing my 1997 camaro ss. Great honest technicians.

I have had several trannys serviced here. I had one tranny rebuilt and a transfer case rebuilt…read more Always received quality work and they never gouged me for more money. This has been over a period of about eight to ten years. They're prices may not be cheap, but neither is their work. Never suggested work that was unneeded. They have told me not to do things I thought I might need more often than telling me I need to do work. I know several well respected mechanics in town that speak highly of them. I haven't used their bathroom, but I wouldn't consider the condition of a bathroom when rating a mechanics shop. Restaurant? I care. Daycare facility? You bet. Mechanics shop? Don't care, just fix my truck. They have always been pleasant and seem professional. Oh, and I like cats.

This company's services are absolutely terrible. They did a warranty repair 6 months ago and have…read morehad to repair their own work 3 different times since - with timeframes of a 3 week minimum. Furthermore, they do not have the foresight to communicate at all during the period they have the vehicle. Their website does not include their days and hours of operations, and they do not have an answering machine or answering service. As a female customer, their waiting area has a HUGE cat that wanders wherever it pleases and the female bathroom facilities are so gross that my family has been talking about it for the entire month the truck has been submitted. Seriously, razors...hair...curling iron - my sister said she wanted to wash her hands, but it was pointless as her hands were cleaner than the bathroom. Embarrassing, really, as their front desk clerk is female.

Save yourself time & money and RUN. Do not visit this establishment…read more So much time wasted, vehicle negligence, and charging me for things that were their fault -- (like calling for a tow truck and sending me the bill because Eddie forgot to add transmission fluid TWICE -- after the installation of TWO transmissions) Let's dive right in.... after 3 MONTHS of COMPLETE STRESS, and two transmission installations by West End Transmissions, and my car WAS STILL not running right.... I finally decided I had enough and I scheduled an appointment / diagnosis for a different mechanic to take a look at my 2011 Ford Escape. It took this mechanic (his name is Miguel) only half an hour to realize what was going on. And you won't even believe it. He calls me up (also send me video) explaining that whoever installed my transmission (West End Transmissions) never put transmission fluid in..... and even more unbelievably, the dipstick for the transmission fluid was showing up bone-dry. There was nothing on it. Nothing. What I found out was -- west End installed TWO transmissions. Yes, two. What was wrong with the first one they installed? Oh, it burned up... Why? Because West End forgot to put transmission fluid in the first one too. I don't know about you.... but does it get any more embarrassing than this??.. for a "transmission shop"?!?! What made everything even more frustrating dealing with this for 3 straight months was Eddie's terrible communication and writing skills. No exaggeration -- his writing skills are quite literally the equivalent to the average 8th grader. Eddie -- work on your communication and writing/texting skills! You can never be too good! Some of your texts I had to read 6 or more times just to understand what the heck you were saying. You're running a business. PROOF-READ YOUR TEXTS! Or have someone else communicate for you! (You Imbecile!) To add everything up, I took a total of 5 trips to Waco (again, from north Austin - 90 minutes each way), about 30 hours of total driving, and Eddie had my car in his possession for a total of 14 days, over the course of 3 MONTHS, and they had to install TWO transmissions. ‍ I have no words for this incompetence. Eddie NEVER gave any apology whatsoever for any of the delays, mis-diagnosis, or negligence... even after realizing it took him FOUR TRIES.. never figured out that he never added transmission fluid... but yet, ANOTHER MECHANIC from another shop (not a specialty transmission shop...) was able to DIAGNOSE my vehicle's issue WITHIN 30 MINUTES. EMBARRASSING and INCOMPETENT Eddie NEVER took ACCOUNTABILITY AT ALL. Who raised you? Quite embarrassing for your parents too, Eddie. ‍ I guess THIS is the THANKS I get as a ***REFERRAL*** who decided to inconvenience himself by traveling 3 hours round-trip 9 TIMES to bring business and pay over $4,000 to Eddie, his family, and his business. Wow. Don't I feel SO APPRECIATED as a customer! It's clear-- Some people have no business running a business. And those same people need to have their doors closed permanently. I honestly do hope the worst for this shop. If your POS transmission fails again, I have warranty, but I'll probably just end up suing you, especially with all this overwhelming evidence. Also attaching a photo of a very eerily similar story to mine.. (a review posted by Rosalia S. on Yelp..... assuming West End Transmissions paid to have her review removed from Google)... looks like West End has done this countless times.. because let's be real.. they've been in business since the 90s... and they only have 23 reviews on Google Maps?? And they're all 5 stars? Yeah... not possible. I'll make sure this review never stops showing on Google. EVERYTHING about this transaction was awful. How embarrassing, Eddie. A 30 year old had to school you. (This has been copied and pasted from my contributions on Google Maps) :)
