1) Super flaky with appointments 2) He promised us a 3 ply door to get us to work with him with better pricing; but last minute upon arrival at the garage, he came with a 1 ply door saying he didn't have 3 ply. 3) A few months later the garage door stopped working and had to be manually closed after the auto door would only shut half way before it kicked back 4) Couldn't trust this guy anymore so went with another garage co to repair and said the balance, support, was all off Cost be $1,000 to repair when it should've all been done correctly the first go. In response to Bill's comment - I will happily show you the invoices. It was a Lincoln 1000 single layer non-insulated door for $1,466. Labor and Chamberlain was $1,150. I don't usually like to leave poor reviews, but this was not a great experience. I understand every business has their off days, but this whole experience from beginning to end was poor. read more

The motor and springs went out on our ancient garage door opener. I contemplated replacing the whole door and system due to the age of the door. I called around and everyone seemed just so expensive. Came across William at Trinity. He did not try to upsell. In fact he was the one that stated the quality of my garage door, although aged was solid wood. He suggested I just replace the motor and springs as there was no need for a new door. His quote was slightly less than everyone else but he came across as very honest and loved the fact that this was a family business being handed down from father to son. William did a great job. A week later, after I contacted him, he said that "their internet is out, but will be restored in a few days". A month later, there is no estimate, no contact, no follow up. I was very grateful Trinity's bid came within my budget. Whew! Cannot remember why but the door took two days to complete installation. This was something specific to my situation. Otherwise it would have been same day installation. Bill and his crew worked quickly and efficiently. It was very important that he made sure everything was secure for the night before finishing the job the next day. Clean up post-work each day was great. Bill was very patient about explaining the work done and giving pointers on light maintenance (lube, clean, etc). He is very conscientious, efficient, and great at answering all questions. Bill is a true gentleman. I recently purchased a new Chamberlain garage door opener from Costco. It was a headache ever since I installed it. The range eventually dwindled down to the point where the remote/clicker had to be 8 inches from the opener unit in order for it to register. Without even scheduling an appointment or asking money upfront, Bill tried to troubleshoot with me through the phone. He was more helpful and put in more effort than anybody from Chamberlain Support. Eventually I discovered my own trick...Chamberlain tried to make these new units aesthetically appealing by tucking the antenna all along the interior of the unit...as soon as I took it out and had it exposed I could at least have range extended to my driveway. I told William this over the phone and he told me about the pigtail trick (where if you form pigtails with the antenna the range nearly doubles) - now I can reach my garage as I'm driving towards my house! Bill and Clay are AWESOME. Our old garage door motor failed, and they did a great job replacing it. Showed up on-time and took care of everything. They really shined when I was moving out and inadvertently clicked a bunch of wrong buttons and it froze the garage door motor. I had to unhook the door to get it to close, so it was sitting there unlocked and the new tenants had already moved their items into the garage. I was worried I'd have to sleep in the garage that night so their music equipment would not get stolen. Our garage door cable was suddenly broken. I called Bill and he came out the next day with his man. Great service attitude and great honorable manner. Bill explained to me the whole job thoroughly, showed me the broken cable and the broken spring (which I didn't see). He then also show me the parts that he had with him to replace my broken parts, I can clearly see the quality of his parts were much better, the steel cable was clearly thicker. Generally great affordable service as others have stated. I hired them to replace the springs on my garage door (who knew that they wore out after a while?). I have a Clopay Garage Door. Bought at the home depot. The 2 springs are of different size (the Clopay person explained this to me over the phone, basically the system is slightly off center, causing the center of gravity to shift). There are a million different sizes of springs. Trinity only carries one type of standard springs (and a premium model). Bill replaced the springs with 2 standard springs of equal size (now the system is no longer perfectly balanced). Also they were not careful, throwing springs and tools on the floor of my garage causing damage to the floor (which they did not offer to fix or apologize for). You get solid service, quick and efficient, but not super careful or well thought through. It's A-OK. read more

I've had Trinity do work on our garage door in the past and we've been really happy with their work so we gave them a call to install a new updated garage door opener. I spoke with Laureena (sp?) and she is really nice and easy to work with and got the appointment scheduled. Clay and another guy came to the house, early in the time frame which was nice, and they got to work pretty quickly. Clay was also cool and easy to talk to . They got the job done in less than two hours and everything worked great! The owner, Bill, also came by a couple of days later to finish some work and check to see how things were going. I try to use small businesses when I can and this is the reason why. Because I get to meet the actual owner of the company! Bill educated me on the Genie opener that we got and said that if we have any issues with this unit, he will personally come out to check on it because he has seen some of his customer's have issues with the newer Genie's and he would rather work on it himself because he is knowledgeable with that product.
