This is a phenomenal school and hidden gem. Between our 3 children, we have experienced 3 preschools and Trinity is, by far, exceptional in every way. My youngest daughter came here 1 year before starting kindergarten. She was at another daycare and I was concerned she was behind academically (compared to where her brothers were at her age), especially having a late summer birthday. She also had some issues with asserting herself. My goals were helping her to learn the basics so she was prepared for kindergarten and being in a positive and nurturing environment so she could gain confidence and become her own person. She achieved both at Trinity. In less than a year, she not only recognizes numbers and letters, but she is starting to read. More importantly, she is in a very positive and warm environment which has allowed her to not only come out of her shell, but have many relationships with lots of friends and classmates. To our surprise, she's blossomed into a social butterfly! What makes the difference is that the teachers love teaching. They are happy and it shows and creates the amazing environment at Trinity. Ms Jam is an exceptional director who not only organizes the most creative events (field trips and on-site activities), but she understands learning and how to build a program and foster an environment that allows each child to thrive. My daughter started at Trinity right when she turned 2yrs old. At the time she was almost done with her potty training, but they still accepted her, which was awesome! This school goes above and beyond to educate your little one with full exposure to so many classroom activities, local field trips, and 3rd party vendor events like petting zoo, bubble foam fest, etc! When my daughter was old enough, I looked into our district elementary school for TK. I applied and almost transferred her to TK. But I'm so glad I didn't! From the TK open house that I went to and observed, it was more like a daycare center and nothing like what Trinity provide for my child. What do Trinity provide? Well, let me tell you this... my daughter is now 5 years old and she only has a few more months left at Trinity before you graduate and attend kindergarten. My daughter is reading Magical Tree House chapter books with ease (she's on book 2 now). She is doing 3 column math arithmetic! She can confidently count in Spanish and a few other Spanish words. She's currently in the older class and they have 7 or 8 teachers for classroom size of 25 students. They are flexible in late pick up because they understand traffic happens. We've had a wonderful experience. The school has a rich curriculum, the classrooms have a calm welcoming environment. Kids are encouraged to take pride in themselves and their learning. One of my favorite moments was the preschool graduation, a one hour ceremony completely led by the children. It was perfect and showed how much confidence and independence the school helps foster. The teachers also work individually with each child, which made a big impact for my son. With Ms Michelle, he was able to start reading sight word books before entering kindergarten. We love the balance of structure and creativity. Even after preschool, the after school program for graduates is excellent. They continue with a thoughtful curriculum, including cooking on Fridays. My kids have been at Trinity for over 4 years. My oldest was there for 6 months, my middle over 3 years, and my youngest for 1.5 years. My kids learned a lot of social emotional skills as well as reading and math. My 2 older kids were extremely prepared for kindergarten. My middle child, who spent the longest time at Trinity, was reading books on her own when she graduated preschool. The school makes learning fun, which motivates the kids and prepares them well for kindergarten. The biggest strength of the school is Ms Jam. She was one of the teachers when we started and became the director in 2020. She dedicates 120% of her time and effort to improving the school and classes. In addition to her role as director, she is often in the classroom with the kids because her passion is teaching. We are so blessed to have found TLP earlier this year when we moved from the city. We had to switch our daughter from her awesome preschool in the city and didn't think there could be anything better. Boy was I wrong. TLP is the best kept secret! During the covid 19 pandemic, all the staff clean up everything everyday and have many rules to make sure everything is clean for the kids to be safe from Covid. I feel relieved that I can trust the school system. My first impression on my son's first day, after dinner he took his plate and put it in the sink. That time he can not speak in the full sentence yet. I never have to worry about how much he learn from school. After I sent him to school I can see how much he learns. Our son came to the Trinity Lutheran Preschool on the summer of 2019 and spent one and half years including such chaotic pandemic. We loved all the members here, as well as the teachers used to serve before the pandemic. They love my son as their family member. Our little one feels comfortable here and built up great connection with his little friends, teachers and staff in the school. This preschool used the Montessori methods which let kids get hands on life experiences, love the lives. Teachers and parents had great interaction on kids progressing, not only learning, but also moral development. We have learned a lot from those experienced educators. All the teachers and staff - Ms. Jam, Ms. Sonia, Ms. Sandy, Mr. John and of course Pastor Jeff are wonderful. They have handled Covid extremely professional. Everything was clean, organized and lots of communication to the parents. Our sone will miss Mr. John's daily nutritious meals for the children. Both of my kids went to Trinity Lutheran Preschool since they were 3. We stayed through their preschool years. Trinity provided a great Montessori setup for my kids to experience Montessori-style education. The entire experience was positive and I had recommended our school to our friends and family. First, if you are looking for a friendly and loving environment, this is the pre-school you wanted. Every teacher, Miss Jam, Miss Louisa, Miss Sonya, Miss Sandy and Miss Doris loves all the kids at school. Both my kids loved going to school and hugged the teachers when we went home. Outdoor play and the social aspects were something my husband and I wanted the most out of our kids' preschool experience. Trinity has a playground (with planters), which was great for my kids. Before COVID, kids played together at the playground afterschool and the parents all hung out together and catchup. In terms of social, there was a really cool concept of the "Peace Flower" that helps kids resolve conflicts (with the help of the teachers) so they learned how to express themselves, show appreciation and apologize as needed. That helped my kids grow emotionally. Hot lunch! Uncle John prepared hot lunch for the kids every day. My boy did not like vegetables, but every day he came home and told me he finished his veggies during lunch. It's like magic. As a working parent, the best thing was not needed to pack lunch or snacks for them. :) The Montessori setting allowed the kids to learn and explore. My kids were well prepared to go into K. I believe in Montessori (for pre-school) as that allow kids to go in their own pace when they learn at a young age. Learning is fun and the kids feel accomplished at different levels. Teachers also mixed in science, art and music in the syllabus. The whole environment made learning fun. This school is also super clean and well organized. I did some tours at other schools... It's nothing compares to Trinity. In terms of parents' involvement, it's really up to the parents. I am super hands on and I prefer to be involve. However, the school never forced anyone to participate. All of it is volunteer commitments. I enjoyed being part of the school and was really happy to be involved with my kids school life. All in all, Pastor Jeff and Miss Jam (Director) created a beautiful community for the kids and the parents. The monthly newsletter provides clarity as to what happened at school and what will happen next month. Most of us parents know the kids at school by first name, and kids are usually confident after attending Trinity. Now that both my kids are going to elementary school, we will sure miss Trinity. He is able to do basic writing, is on his way to reading, has started doing simple math and enjoys art work. I would give 10 stars. My son spent 2 years at Trinity. His old preschool was closed due to a financial problem and I had to find a new preschool after most enrollment was closed. We were really lucky to find Trinity and it is found to be one of my best choices I ever made to let him enroll at Trinity. This place is full of love, safe, fun and offers great education in spite of relatively cheap tuition. The time he spent at this preschool will be forming the great basis of his entire life. My deepest gratitude to all the team, especially Ms. Jam and Ms. Louisa. Trinity is based on the Montessori method but in my opinion it's more than that. Montessori method enables to pull out each child's characteristics letting them select a job for the day and foster self-directed learning. My son learned a lot here, not only playing independently but also math, reading, writing, science etc. He is at the beginning of Kindergarten age but is enrolled in 1st grade class in a private school where they teach 2nd grade level curriculum. He is enjoying it. This is all thanks to the education he got in Trinity. During covid19 pandemic, the former director left the preschool. She was also really a good teacher and I was so worried. Ms. Jam succeeded the director and did a really great job. She made the school even better. She is a person full of love and being a great teacher as well as doing great as a director. I can't imagine how she can manage both those 2 roles excellently but it definitely requires hard work with a huge passion. I had a lot of worrying events like starting to attend the school, got incident reports(yes my boy had a lot), covid 19, the former director resigned, a temporary closure due to covid, extending the school to a new building, promoting to upper grade, resuming the school with the new normal etc. But she and the team have got over all of them and actually they were always way beyond I expected. They were just amazing. The school holds 2 teacher/parent conferences a year. Those were also amazing. You would be surprised at the details of each social skill/academic progress report and comments including daily behavior. I was happy they also listened to us and extremely impressed by how much they care for each child with full of love. My son still says he wants to visit Trinity to see Ms. Jam. And when he visits there, she always warmly welcomes him. On top of great education and full of love, lunch was included and he was satisfied with Mr. John's meal which actually helped us and Pastor Jeff's bible lessons were also great. Summer school is available with the same tuition, meaning you can send your kids throughout the year. I would say the current tuition may be too cheap and actually I even suggested raising tuition once (I wanted this school to be sustainable and I worried because the old preschool suddenly closed due to financial issues.) It definitely is worth over $2000/mo at least. I'd recommend Trinity to all parents who have a small kid. Great education, a great team, full of love, lunch everyday with whole year availability for even cheaper tuition than other preschools nearby. an absolute gem of a preschool! when we toured (pre-covid, for my oldest child), a three year old was reading a sentence off the smart board. SIGN ME UP! but while, yes, there is emphasis on academics (like learning to read, math, etc.) more importantly there are lots of choice, montessori based activities and lots of emphasis on social development and growing into go humans. couple that with year round opening, reasonable and not exorbitant pricing, good full time hours, and lunches/snacks--let's just say it was a no brainer to get our second child in, and are we already looking forward to sending our third child next year. read more

During the pandemic, my daughter's old preschool closed so we decided to enroll her at Trinity. We were worried about how she would adjust to a new school with a new environment, teachers, and friends, but it turns out that we need not have worried about anything. We've had two parent teacher conferences in the last year and were impressed with the level of detail in the progress reports. My daughter is a very picker eater and she won't eat mac and cheese when I make it, but she loves it when Mr John makes it. Over the last year, our daughter has learned how to add and subtract, can sound out the beginning letter of words, and is beginning to read simple words. This place is amazing,period. When Dean my child, came here at around 4 years old, he couldn't even hold a pencil. But with the teachers' help, and guidance from the Director, Jam, he is now able to add double digits, knows some multiplication, and can read on his own! It's been quite the transformation but I know that he just needed the right environment to thrive. I am so utterly grateful to all the wonderful staff here including Maria and Michelle. Montessori based: By the time my kids graduated, they already knew their colors, ABCs, counting up to 100, oceans of the world, continents, attempted reading, additions, subtractions, and so much more. Besides making sure my kids are well prepared for kindergarten, Trinity Lutheran Preschool has supported my kids to becoming independent, confident, and caring well beings. 2. Caring staffs: Ms. Jam played two roles as director and teacher to my kids. She paid close attention, made note of my kids' progress, encouraged and challenged them through educational activities. Ms. Sonia stepped up during the pandemic, shared all her teaching skills and made sure the kids were not missing out via zoom class. She was very observant and knew every detail of my child and updated me with my child's progress daily/ weekly. Ms. Louisa and Ms. Michelle were both nurturing and assisted in caring for the kids. Mr. John prepared warm and delicious meals for the kids. He made a point to know my kids' allergies and kept them safe. All the teachers and staffs worked well as a team and genuinely made every effort to support the kids. 3. Teaching God's Love: Pastor Jeff instilled God's word through teaching bible songs and stories. He enjoyed and put tremendous amount of effort in his teachings especially incorporating vacation bible school activities through the summer. Pastor Jeff started the preschool because he genuinely cares for all the kids, not only physically but also spiritually. In addition, he checks in with all the staffs, making sure all are working as a team and feel well supported. Almost a year after graduation, my kids are still reminiscing their time at Trinity Lutheran Preschool. My youngest talks about how much she misses her teachers and my older two share the bible stories taught by Pastor Jeff. To this day, my kids frequently fight who gets to pray before meals and bedtime. Our son has been going to Trinity for almost a year now. It took him a little while to adjust his new school. Ms Jam, the director and his teachers were great in helping him with the transition. She made sure she took the time to help him feel comfortable. We are very thankful for all that Ms Jam does for the school, the children, teachers and parents - she is so giving and always looking for ways of improvement. We loved our time at Trinity Lutheran Preschool. Our son attended for 3 years and just graduated. The director, Ms. Jam, added a lot of positive changes in the program. She was very accessible for questions/concerns regarding COVID/protocols, even answering messages after school hours. The school was very vigilant and cautious to follow protocols. All staff were so caring, loving, and patient with my son. I saw how they all worked so hard to support the academic, emotional, and social development of all the children at the school. It is such a warm and loving environment, we are so grateful we found this school. Teachers really try to understand each individual child and how they learn. Another bonus-Lunch and snacks were also provided each day which was so helpful. They were very mindful of the food allergies my son had as well. My son grew so much in his time at Trinity and I am confident he is ready for Kindergarten. read more

We start this preschool 3 months ago and my 5 year old son really loved it. It is a wonderful Montessori and my son got lots of preparation for kindergarten. There are lots of fun activities and Ms Jam (both their teacher and director) brings varieties of interesting topics. Lots of hands on experience, snack/treats making. The teachers Ms Jam, Ms Luisa, Ms Boyi and Ms Torrence are very passion, kind and caring. I could totally see how they love for the kids, not because of the job. They are very experienced too, not only to teach academically but more to how to a good person. Paster Jeff brings lots of fun summer activities as well. Due to the pandemic, the teachers are really on top of every single disinfection details and thriving to do an excellent job. This review is a testament to the great care the staff at Trinity has shown over and over to our family. My son enrolled and started last fall, during the pandemic, and it was a challenging decision. He had been at a lovely Montessori preschool before shelter in place, but Trinity's class size and proximity were pluses. Not even a week into preschool, we were significantly relieved. He was eager to attend school and happy at day's end... every day. Their protocol for sanitizing and hygiene made a difference. Ms. Jam and Mrs. Louisa were his primary teachers and they, with the rest of the staff, including Mr. John, are exemplary and incredibly hard working. My son is working on his literacy and is reading going into Kindergarten next academic year! Ms. Jam, in particular, we are so lucky to have encountered her kindness, professionalism, hard-work, thoroughness, and academic knowledge and training.
