Yikes is all I can say. 25 dollars for one drink and a really rude bartender. He was arguing with a customer about something really stupid, and he's lucky the customer didn't get violent with him because it was escalating to that. I will never be back here. I guess I've been spoiled with REALLY good bars and nightclubs all over the country... but this place is an actual joke. The vibe is weird in there too. Had my 25th birthday here! I bought a large booth upstairs in the EDM room. Had an amazing time! Leather couches, with AC, and VIP treatment? Loved it!! I am a regular on Fridays. I recommend getting a table once in a while, it's great value! Their reservations team is awesome. Kirsten and Sam are great, very professional, they set expectations upfront and deliver what they say they will deliver, with no unpleasant surprises like you might expect to see at other Seattle clubs. Unethical club. We registered online that said that entrance is free. But when we reached there at midnight, we were told that the entrance is free only till 10pm. It's definitely one of my fav clubs in the hood, staffs are super friendly and vibes are good! If you got a party of more than 8, do consider booking a table service y'all definitely got more out of ya money! Sam and Kirsten are the best! My only advise to ya is, don't shy away from getting help on pouring your drink, as the club is closing it might be a bit hustling in getting your bottle unlocked. I went to Trinity for a birthday event with a private room, lots of alcohol, and great company, so in retrospect, I had a decent time at Trinity. I wouldn't come here on my own accord to get frisky with a stranger nor would it be my go-to nightclub. I would come here again if my group of friends held an event here with a private room and are able to get on the guest list to bypass the line. I'm not a clubbing person, so I can't differentiate between good and bad nightclubs. Trinity is filled with kitschy, Eastern-influenced flair all over the walls, which was almost enough to make me want to puke without having any alcohol content inside my body. I suppose that when you're drunk, it almost doesn't matter. It is a huge space with multiple dance floors that are filled to the brim with sweaty bodies rubbing against each other. The music is great, though, and are all songs suitable to pump your fists. Sometimes, nightclubs start getting into some R&B and stuff like AC/DC, and it doesn't work no matter how hard you remix them. I heard the usual Top 40 radio songs, and you can never go wrong with those. I like that at Trinity there are people who actually go out to dance instead of hanging around the periphery of the building scoping out girls. Well, except for when you enter and you notice the bar on the left all filled with forever alone bachelors. Avoid eye contact or any sudden movements. The women's bathroom is exactly how I imagined it would be at a sloppy club like Trinity: vomit, smells of regret, crying, broken bathroom stalls, pushing their boobs back up to their chin. Yeah, Trinity is, by all definitions, a very sloppy club. I didn't even notice that much security for this place. Aside from all of those things, it is an okay place to let loose with a large group of friends. Before you can say, "no more," you will be receiving shots of tequila from a random person or your friends. My friends and I had a great time going out on the dance floor and doing moves that resembles, oh, a drunk group of people. I had no idea that this club is normally filled with Asians/Asian-Americans. Looks like I fit in just fine. read more

I'll say this right up front, beyond the sandwiches....I'm not much of a Pioneer Square kind of gal. Sure, a couple good bars and fun joints here and there...but. Hobo pee, getting tailed by unsavory likes, and having to deal with the 3 or 4 bus back home make Pioneer Square a rarely sought after destination for myself. That being said -- Trinity is a lot of fun. Especially on their themed party nights, their Mardi Gras celebration (Erotic Ball folks!) being my favorite. Yes, perhaps I have a bit of nostalgia attached to that event -- but come on! This space is huge, the bartenders are friendly, and there are plenty of sexy nooks and crannies to get lost in. The every-day club scene here isn't 100% my cup of tea, while the beats are generally good I have my preferences and find them elsewhere in town. The crowds don't always jive with me as well. Still, if you are in the mood for dancing anywhere outside of Capitol Hill, Trinity is where it's at. read more

According to some, Trinity was supposed to be the number one club in Seattle. Though after talking to some people in Seattle, they said probably shouldn't go there anymore. Came here with my girlfriends from California for a visit to Seattle, including fellow Yelper, Julia K. Arrived at Trinity around 11:30/12. Bouncers were incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. They didn't charge us for the cover even though it was after 11. Thanks for that because if they did charge us... I would've been pissed. We walked in and it was a complete sausage fest. Ratio was awful. The music was great and the $8 shots definitely did their job. We intended to go out to the club for fun... meaning to dance by ourselves... meaning go away. This was probably the worst experience I've had. I had to say no probably over 50 times (no exaggeration). I pushed a guy because he just wouldn't leave. After 1 hour, we felt like pieces of meat because when we looked around - a circle of creepy guys. It's almost as if girls don't exist in Seattle. Maybe we were there on a bad night. But seriously guys, be a little more respectful. I get that it's a club but guys, a little heads up, girls go out JUST to dance - not look for guys. Oh how I missed SF. If someone put a gun to my head and said, "choose a place to club butthole," I would first say, "please, dont call me a butthole, its not cool," then I would assist them in pointing their gun somewhere else. Tony G is not a huge fan of guns, except for the ones in his shirtsleeve. I would then proceed to answer the fellows question by recommending Trinity. Why? Because it is big, with three rooms and three different bars so the lines are not that long. I also like all the mirrors around, so I can look at myself. There is also an upstairs so you can look at people when they attempt to dance. It sucks because I realize people are watching my pathetic attempt to dance. Why the three stars? Cover is pretty high, I believe being $15 or $20. I usually try to demand to be put on a list before coming. I would also say that drinks are expensive, but then again all clubs have expensive drinks. We were also kicked out of here (not my fault this time) so that sours me a little. We were surrounded by super skinny, what seemed to be mal-nourished girls and fobby guys, with an occasional white and latina girl here and there. And the girls here are aggressive! So much booty + crotch violations took place here. The music in the hip hop room was good, but hello, have they never heard of air conditioning? the upstairs "VIP" seating area looked all hazy and ghetto. The "techno" room was seriously empty. And the outdoor smoking patio was.....the sidewalk. I'm not a Seattle resident, so maybe I'm making too many judgment calls. But I don't think this place was worth $15 cover. Of all the clubs in Pioneer Square, this is probably the fanciest, but I'd hardly call it classy. There's always a huge line and you'll need more than a short skirt to get in the VIP line. In addition to a large main dance floor, the space also includes 3 smaller lounge areas (apparently these are great places for an impromptu lap dance). Bouncers guard the doorways between rooms and make everyone line up to pass through. The music was pretty old school, but not in a good way, just a lot of tired hip hop tracks from 2 years ago. The clientele varies quiet a bit, but on my most recent visit you'd feel out of place if you didn't bear a striking resemblance to Jay-Z or ODB (there were a couple Kid Rock types as well). Overall everyone was pretty attractive, well dressed, and full-figured. Last call is at one o'clock, and by 1:40 bouncers become bussers who will take your drink out of your hand if you aren't finishing it fast enough. At the end of the night my biggest issue was just feeling like I'd been treated like a troublemaker all night (and this time it was totally unjustified - I didn't climb on any furniture or toss a single lime wedge from the balcony). In my opinion, if they just doubled the $15 cover and treated everyone with a little more respect, they'd have a really classy atmosphere to match the decor. read more

No. No, no, no, NO. Came here for a girlfriend's bachelorette party and never in my life have I ever been so accosted in one nightclub. As Lois Griffin once said, "My ass feels like a pincushion." Seriously, so many dirty grabbers at this place. For every fifty guys there were maybe five girls. As for the dance floor... what was the freaking POINT? Everyone was packed up next to each other and all you could manage was the two-step. Not fun at all. Another big issue was the restrooms. Okay, maybe one working toilet for the guys is do-able, but for the ladies? Hell no. The line was ridiculous and when you finally got into one of those dirty little stalls there were cocktail glasses everywhere, straws in the toilet, and mounds and mounds of toilet paper all over the floor. Seriously, ladies, I know you're drunk but get your shit together. (Literally. Gag.) The only - and ONLY - saving grace was the fact that we had a VIP spot so I had a safe haven to go to when I was feeling too molested. Also, the air was about 15 degrees cooler up the stairs and away from the sea of sweaty, body bumping freaks. There is NO POINT in going to a dance club if they pack it so full of people you cannot even move let alone dance! The air was so thick from all the people I literally could not breathe in there! Half our party got lost in the sea of people so we spent the majority of the time there walking in circles trying to find each other. Oh, did I mention some creepy short guy felt me up as I was walking past him? Yep, hand right up my dress on my thigh...really??? UGH felt so violated I was totally done at that moment. After getting into the club, it took 15 minutes of just standing and waiting to be escorted to our table because the escort was on his smoke break. Then our bottle took 30 minutes to show up. Combined with the long VIP entry, we lost a solid hour of our expensive experience. This will be the last time we invest in a table with bottle service. Wish I had recorded what a few staff had said to us throughout the night. Was pretty shocking how one or two people would treat customers, let alone high spending VIP customers. We had the vodka Red bull specials (which I dont know what they were since i didn't pay for it) I may be wrong but I believe that my friends ordered 6 red bull and vodkas and 3 red bulls and payed $30 But if Im wrong please someone message me and I will change it. There is a reason clubbing is almost nonexistent in the Pioneer Square area. This place is situated around one of the sketchiest places in Seattle. Homelessness and drug use is very rampant around this area, so take extra precaution when walking down the street or parking your car. Sketchiness factor aside, Trinity is actually a decent place to go to. 8-10PM dollar well drinks are nice. The dance floor is a decent size, nothing to scoff at. Bottom line, If you must go clubbing in Pioneer Square, just be careful. Keep in mind there are other alternatives. If you're in Pioneer Square and looking for some place to dance, Trinity just might be your place! I like it because it's spacious, cool decor in each of the 3 rooms, friendly staff, good bartenders, affordable drinks and drink specials, and good music. Thursdays are a great night to be there...good DJ's in each room, busy but not overcrowded, and it's fun. I would however avoid this place on the weekends because it's impossible to move around in there and it's overly packed. read more

DJs were absolutey HORRIBLE before midnight, when one of my local faves finally hit the decks. Thank God. ADVERTISED SPECIAL : $1 shots and $3 beers. Yes, we're in a recession, and though I usually won't take my chances with well booze, tonight, we did. I ordered us shots of vodka with cranberry chasers, and drank Miller High life, the ADVERTISED SPECIAL. We leave at 1 am, and I asked the BF how much the bill was while we are driving home. He says he's not sure, didn't pay attention. I had ordered the drinks. Pulls out the receipt, HOLY FUCK. $37??? By my calculations, the bill should amounted to abso-fucking-lutely no more than $15. Luckily we received an itemized bill so I could see for myself that we were charged NO LESS THAN $6 PER SHOT. The description next to it? Well Drink. I did not contact mgmt to haggle over the bill. I think I'll be sending the right message when I say that I will never set foot through those doors again. Trinity, what the hell to say about you. I love you. I hate you. I totally have mixed feelings about you. The advertisements aren't exaggerating this is one of the better clubs in Seattle that has actually lasted. The bouncers are hella nice and respectful. They don't have their noses so high that's its shoved up their own...yah. Most of the bartenders are really cool and will a pour a good drink. I love their upstairs/downstairs three rooms thing, cause I love to dance and then be able to sit my behind down somewhere to cool off. It also makes it easy to lose someone you don't want following you. But really?! I use to be a regular here... do we really have to still let in some of the guys that are total googie stalkers? I've seen the same guys preying on pretty girls that I did three years ago. It's kind of funny and creepy at the same time. I guess what can you expect? Like it was said before, the club is one of the better ones. I generally have fun whenever I go there. You just learn how to work the crowd. Trinity is alright. There's the main dance floor, a smaller room, and a lounge area with a decent number of tables if you just want to sit and hang out. The music is mostly EDM / Hip hop / Top 40, but I can't say I've ever been impressed with the DJs that play here. Then again, I'm only ever here if there's no one I want to see play at Foundation or Aston Manor, so I won't fault Trinity for what it is: an average club with semi-decent happy hour and specials, with music that you'll likely won't pay that much attention to. The bartenders are attentive and pretty friendly. There's an interesting Asian theme going on in the lounge area with the red lanterns and Chinese paintings on the wall. There's always a decent number of people here, and there's a good mix of ethnicities despite this place being supposedly classified as an Asian club. One major downside is it's located in a pretty sketchy area, and I've been hassled by homeless people outside before. There's a lit parking structure literally right across the street. read more

Trinity is pretty much the place to be for weekend dancing. It's the trusted stand-by as well as the first option for me and my friends. Definitely get on the guest list (available on their website) and show up before 11 to get in for free. The music is generally pretty good, but it can be hit and miss depending on the DJ. Kazan provides an amazing mix on Friday nights for Bollywood Paparazzi, so definitely be sure to check that out! The drinks vary depending on the bartender. Todd and Beau make delicious cocktails, so I trust them when I can't decide. The downside? As with any club, there are creepers. Y'know, those guys that hang out around the edge and try to grind up on girls.
