The place had good music lineup but my fiancé and I both noticed that the DJs didn't have at least an idea of which songs were already played by the other DJ so we heard a couple songs that got repeated during our 2 hours there which is a short time for songs to be repeated. So I kinda got disappointed with that I mean it wasn't a big deal for club goers but I guess I was more there for the music and how good the DJs are with their song transitions vs actually dancing lol Also, I wished that this club would post their DJ lineup for the night because I wanted to see this specific DJ but I also didn't know his face specifically to actually figure out who's who at the podium. Even if he was advertised to play it wasn't laid out what time he was going to play so that was a kind of a bummer. I even asked an employee there and they didn't have a clue. ‍ read more

My girlfriend and I were looking for a fun Mother's Day night out without having to trek all the way to Seattle, we're based in Olympia. So we decided to check out Trinity Nightclub in Tacoma. We weren't sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised! We got there early, grabbed some food, and pregamed at the pub in the same parking lot. Yes, the club is located in a Grocery Outlet shopping center, which threw us off at first, definitely not your typical club location, but hey, don't judge a book by its strip mall. Once the doors opened, we were greeted by a clean, spacious, and super welcoming environment. The music? Absolute fire all night. We especially appreciated the dress code, it kept the vibe classy and helped avoid the whole saggy pants thirsty dudes scenario. Major win. Now, the VIP setup could use a little work. Some of the VIP tables were oddly placed, and the prices were kind of wild considering you end up holding your drink or standing while empty tables sit unused around you. That part didn't make much sense, when your feet hurt, all you want is a seat! But the staff? Amazing. Super friendly. And the security team was on, thorough but respectful, checking everyone on entry and exit, and staying present all night. We felt safe, seen, and celebrated. All in all, we had an absolute blast. Trinity is officially our new go to spot for nights out close to home. Thanks for giving these ladies a fabulous night we won't forget! read more

We did the Bed by 10 event and absolutely loved it. Even though it felt packed beyond capacity on the dance floor we made the best of it and enjoyed the vibes. I do think they should have more than 2 bathroom stalls for women. The bar tenders and staff were friendly too and drinks weren't obscenely expensive. I also recommend they place more coat hooks on walls. Definitely would go back for another event. read more

I have been going here for so long. I know there are more places but this is the go too. It's always poppin. Good music and awesome DJs every time. The security here makes sure everyone is safe and having a good time. The guy who checks our IDS outside recognizes us bc we go a lot and greets us kindly every time. Also he likes to pop a joke in here and there. The ppl there just mind their own business but sometimes join in with our group and the girls always got your back. Bouncer STOLE my pen battery! She put it in her POCKET instead of the front desk with all the other stuff they hold. Then at the end of the night wouldn't give it back...so that sucks...never had an issue with the bouncers here but she was the rudest one I've ever met! My friends and I wanted to go to a club after I landed at SEATAC, and this one of of the few that seemed alright last minute. We also knew it was 18+ , so we knew what we were getting into LOL Parking kinda sucked but we made it work lol. Bouncer was cool, cover was $20 for a Friday night. As visitors from sf, $20 is standard. Coat check once you got in is free, which is pretty cool. Lady there working was nice. When you first walk in, it opens up to a EDM room with a bar off to the side. They were playing some good up to date songs that I had fun dancing to. There were bathrooms next to the stage, and a DJ /VIP area? up the stairs to the right. The VIP area is kinda small and too lit up for a club imo. Then there was a hallway that leads to the selfie room, the bar for 21+ and hip hop room. The "selfie room" was a bit off putting... as the selfie room was decorated to look like an old run down asian restaurant with a huge asian looking fan on the back wall, and asian looking wallpaper. As an Asian American, I was like ?? wth about this. They did have this sparkly background we could take pictures in front of The bar for 21+ was decorated in the same manner. They had A TEA TABLE as a table for people to sit and drink at? and paintings of old royal Chinese guys on their wall, asian looking lamps and some kind of stage above that was also decorated super asian??? Hip hop room was fun. its painted white, which made it a lil bright inside. But still had good music to dance to Also we were over 21 and we had wristbands but literally every time we entered a room, they had to check our ID! What was the point of the wrist band then? We had to take out our ID a million times Overall, had a fun time, just a little weird that there was low-key cultural appropriation in this place. - Fun, friendly, supportive, and safe environment with lots of people around my age - I didn't order any food or drinks because I'm too young to enter the bar - Main room mostly plays EDM and dubstep. The website and some other reviews I've read say there's a second room that plays pop and rap, which I probably would've preferred, but I didn't know how to get there, and asking wouldn't have worked because it was too loud to talk to anyone. - Long general admission line. Honestly the drinks are very very overpriced and not even good, and the vibe was very off and we were first in line and didn't get in until about 30 minutes later when the guy finnaly came out to barely check us( didn't even check my bag surprisingly) and I saw people (under 21) vaping inside in-front of security and the dj's, not a fun experience wont recommend. The directions were very unclear and my gf got separated without any direction of where she should go to find me, the guy inside didn't even properly scan our tickets, feels like a scam. read more

Overall all positives except for the heat. Great variety of music. In the span of 3 hours we bounced from Dance, pop, wdym, rap, Latin, and more. In my opinion that is how you keep a crowd engaged so major props to the DJ. Defiantly a place you want to show up already having your drinks for the night. The dance floor is on the ground level but the bar is upstairs and you cannot move your drinks with you. It's a constant ID check to get to the bar and the music volume is reduced in the second floor. Most likely so you can converse in the seating areas. Very attentive security, respectful bartenders, and clean restrooms. Would return! read more

My first time at Trinity and it was HOT AF. I have never been so hot and sweaty ever at a club or venue like I was at Trinity. SO many people inside that night were also feeling the same way. This place is a fairly decent nightclub in Seattle where night life can be a bit lacking in comparison to cities like NYC, LA, and SF. However, it can be very hit or miss. I went here twice actually, once on 4th of July weekend 2021 after the fully vaccinated mark, and one today. Both times I feel the ventilation is super horrible. It gets so hot inside especially as the night lingers on, past midnight. Even though it is June and cold outside (like low 50s) I was sweating a lot inside. Even worse when it's actual Seattle summer so keep that in mind. I remembered last time when it was low 70s outside and I had to drink so much water to not die inside. Cover is fairly alright - today was $17 but we also went before midnight, so it might be more later but definitely at least $5 more if you are not 21+. Drinks are also fairly priced for a club but they are definitely low quality. Bottom shelf liquor plus basic juices or Red Bull but they do not really skimp on the alcohol which is good. Tables are available and you just show your ID and wristband that you are 21+ and you can access the upper floor. So theoretically you can enjoy the table experience without all the high pricing but obviously the alcohol service and such won't be there. Some tables were also available to the public to just sit (the ones that don't face the stage, deep into the upper floor) which helps for taking a break from the dancing. I do enjoy that the name of the club fits in to what they offer - trinity aka three, so there's a mostly pop/EDM stage when you enter, a small room / bar for another type of music, and a more chill / melodic stage at the other end of the club. Music is one of the better ones though I feel the crowd these days are more in the late 20s/30s and a lot of the younger crowd (early 20s) that I am part of don't really show up anymore so it was less fun compared to a year ago. read more

Music was ok. Security was awesome! Drinks were good not very good just good. Djs need to improve to be honest the crowd was big by 11 don't go before that or you'll be the only one in there. This was the most aggressive and hostile club I have ever been to. for starters, they made you leave your vape at the front. not a big deal, it is an 18+ club so i understand. 21+ is allowed to leave the club, but apparently only twice and after that you cant go back inside. there is no sign that says that so im assuming the bouncer pulled that out of his a**. the security inside the club is extremely aggressive. at one point, the bathroom security pushed my STALL door open and accused me of vaping. i wasnt. after that I was over it and went to the front to get my vape and leave. but guess what. they lost my vape/someone else took it. the lady at the front says they aren't liable. how is it okay to make it mandatory to check a vape in and then let it get stolen? that's horrible organization in my opinion. not to mention how rude she was when she told me the vape was gone. heres a tip for whoever runs this place: if you hate teenagers so much to the point where you are acting this way towards PAYING customers, shut the place down or make it 21+. dont waste your money or time on this sh*tshow. read more

Okkkk!!!! I see you Seattle!!!! I'm from Las Vegas, capital city of entertainment in the world and being from out of town. Wasn't sure where to go to have a good time. So happy I foud this spot! it had multiple rooms of different styles of music, beautiful bartenders, crowd was energetic and just full of a good time! Drinks where on point! DJ was killing it, I believe it was Fame Sounds, super impressive coming from Las Vegas we are use to creme of le creme djs and this guy every song he would play got better and better! If I could give less than a 0 I would. Club staff is very unwelcoming they were very segregated. I'm 18 l walk in there and I was only in there for 5 minutes and there was no one there so we wanted to leave and get our money back, not only did they ignore me but they were also extremely rude to me and I wasn't even being mean I was asking for my money back kindly apparently that's a lot to ask for 100% bad service. So stingy $20 to the man who run that's is nothing in comparison to a college student who doesn't even make $20 in an hour! If you have a big group of people I suggest this place but don't go if you have anything less than 5! read more

It's the only 18+ club available and it's not worth your money unless you're extremely fd up. The music was good if you're into edm in the first room, but the hip hop/ r&b room was terrible and anything but that. They were playing corny pop music and it felt like I was shopping at the container store or Marshall's. Every single song sounded like retail therapy, not for the club. When asking the dj, she said they couldn't play any good songs because copyright... The line was extremely long, probably an hour + wait, maybe because it was the first day reopened. Furthermore, I didn't expect much from Trinity because I had been there pre-COVID, but this was Just a diff level of bad. Super fun! Only club I've been to so not much to compare it to but I always have fun even if I don't know any music. Lots of guys looking for girls to dance with (kinda creepy) but I imagine that happens at all or most clubs and security watches close. Water is expensive but it's liquid death so makes sense. First time clubber here to share my thoughts: Great space - The venue has multiple dance floors within, which keeps thing interesting throughout the night. If your not feeling music in one spot, just stroll on through the next door over. Variety of music - On the Saturday night we chose to go dancing, this venue had Spanish, and EDM. Which don't get me wrong...those are great choices to choose from! Buuttt I'm more of a hip hop girl myself, so that option would've been nice. Atmosphere - This was the make or break for me as to whether I would come back. This venue includes 18 and over. Soo me being 24, dancing around with a bunch of 18-19 year olds, made me feel a bit old if I'm being honest. There are bar areas that only the 21+ can get into, but the dance floors are obviously intertwined. It might just be me, but I think I would prefer an all around 21+ club the next time, that way drinks can be shared on the dance floor with the rest of my adult peers. Cocktails - The drinks are your average over priced, not that flavorful, sub par drinks. You can get lit pretty quick on them however so that's a plus. read more

I can't believe I forgot to write a review for this place! I'm not from Seattle, but visiting from Cali. Here's the deal, this place is super Asian. Americanized Asians & fob Asians. There are even paintings of super "traditional Chinese Asians" on the walls wearing their Chinese gowns--that's how Asian this place is. But besides the super Asian, there's still a good mix of crowd. I like how they have 2 different dance floor--one for the hip hop/pop lovers, and one for the house/trance lovers. I loved the hip hop floor it was nice. Good room for dancing. Tip: If you are a hot Asian girl, guys here will buy you anything and everything you want. Take advantage while you are young. Don't ever go here on a weeknight (We went on a Thursday night to grab some drinks and dance to 90s music) unless you want to be taken advantage of: cover charge +tax+ service fee not including drinks yet. Drinks= weak, + service fee(20%), and you can't even go to the dance floor with your drinks only at the bar area a security officer is seated in the cross section stopping folks. Also let's add a sprinkle of a favoritism, friends and family get special treatment, cheap drinks, free cover charge, while you sit there and observe all of this in disbelief! When you call them on it expect them not to take accountability and instead gaslight you. Perfect for our bachelorette party! I don't think it's fair when a nightclub is given a poor review based on how goodlooking or fun people are. You can't really fault a club if there are annoying people who are partying inside. While we were at Trinity on a Saturday night, some guy was trying to hold onto my waist from behind to dance. I just danced away from him and towards my friends. I'm not going to let some obnoxious guy ruin my fun. What I do care about is the quality of music and atmosphere of the club, which by the way was great! The place was packed and music was Hip Hop / Top 40. I danced so much that I'm sure I worked off my dinner. We never had to wait too long to get drinks and the prices seem to be average for downtown Seattle. The staff deserves a special mention as well since they were non pretentious and made our night even better. The bouncers and bartenders were so friendly and easy to chat with. I've never experienced that before, but maybe I'm comparing to Vancouver nightclub staff who need to learn a few things from Seattle. I cannot emphasize how poor my experience was at this club. Bouncers have a history of aggression and violence - especially towards women - and management refuses to do anything about it. One of the bouncers used pepper spray against three women, all of whom were nonviolent and under 5'2". It took us two and a half hours of consistent eye washing with soap and water in an alley - we didn't want to get into an Uber after being maced - to finally reach a point where we could return home. As evidenced by the other reviews, this is not an isolated incident and other reviewers have had similar experiences with the bouncers using excessive force. I went to Trinity for an event on a Saturday and had a great time! Fridays and Saturdays at 9-10 pm they have dollar well drinks, a pretty great deal that my group took advantage of. When our event was over we stayed around to see the club in action and had a lot of fun. They have separate rooms here each with their own unique music and deejay(s). Even later on during peak hours it still was fairly quick and easy to get drinks. My group tried some specialty shots (I can't remember the name) that were pretty amazing. My friend had some guests in town from San Francisco, so he wanted to have a fun night out. I suggested Rhino Room, but one of our friends wanted to go to Trinity instead. I had never been to Trinity before, so I was down to check it out. We went on a Saturday night and when we got there, the line for 21+ was in front of a place called "The Bar Shoppe", but it's connected to Trinity/is Trinity. The clientele here was definitely interesting and sort of different from Capitol Hill. There was some dude passed out in front of the place. He was sitting down, sleeping, and clearly had too much to drink. Eventually, his friends came along to get him to leave with them. While trying to wake him up, someone from his friend group asked my friend and I for our numbers. We just shrugged him off. When the guy woke up from his slumber, he asked to take a photo with my friend and I. I ducked him trying to put his arm around me, and then he slung his arm around my friend. His friends were kind enough to grab him off of her, and they dragged him away. When we initially got in line, some random dude in line had the audacity to say "The 18+ line is over there." and pointed to the line around the corner. My friend sarcastically responded with "Thank you for the information, but do I look 18? I'm 21, have a nice night", which shut him up. People here can't seem to mind their own business. Lol. There are also tons of panhandlers walking around. This guy was approaching everybody in line and was asking for money. You'll get homeless people everywhere in Seattle, but I feel like there are less panhandlers at clubs in Capitol Hill due to police officers being on watch throughout the night. When we got inside, it was $20 cover with cash, $22 cover with card. It left my friends and I surprised, because $20 cover is actually a lot compared to the bars/clubs in Capitol Hill. My friends informed me that apparently it's $30 cover for 18+, which is insane in my opinion. If I was under 21, I'd keep my $30 and stay at home. I looked on their website when I got home, and their event calendar had said that it's $15 cover after 11 PM for 21+, and $20 cover for $18+. I thought that maybe they charged my friends and I the wrong price due to our young looks, but then I realized that it wasn't possible since we were in the 21+ line that led into the bar room. After paying the cover, you have to get a mandatory coat check. We walked inside, and there was a 2 way split. Right is to go to into the 18+ section, and left is to go into the 21+ section. There's also an upstairs area, which is mainly just table service and a bar. Whenever you want to go to a different section, there are bouncers everywhere checking for ID so be prepared to constantly pull out your ID. It was overwhelmingly loud in there. Even when my friends talked up against my ear, we still couldn't hear each other. It's a club so obviously it's going to be loud, but this was break your ear drums loud. After we left the club, we all felt like we were going deaf. When we were on the dance floor, there was some dude who was pushing through the crowd and he shoved my friend out of the way. My friend proceeded to shove him back, to which a fight almost broke out. A friend and I stepped in before any punches were thrown, and the dude just walked away. We've never had issues going out before, but I guess that's Pioneer Square for ya. When passing the bar, I noticed that they had a sign saying that it's $2 for water. I've never seen a club/bar charge for water before. This place literally tries to nickel and dime you at every corner. Lol. We ended up leaving at 1:40 AM, and called an Uber to chill at my friend's apartment instead. It was still fairly crowded when we left. Overall, it was a decent place. It's basically like any other club in Seattle, but just extremely overpriced. I didn't have any issues with the bouncers. They weren't friendly, but they weren't rude either. My friends and I all agreed that it's not worth paying $20/$22 cover for Trinity, so we probably won't be going back anytime soon. I guess when you're the only 18+ club in Seattle, you can charge people whatever price you want and they'll pay it. Skip Pioneer Square, and go up to Capitol Hill for a better time. read more

LOW EXPECTATIONS AND STILL DISAPPOINTED. We came for their "awesome" hour where well drinks are $1. There was no notice that their actually trinity doors were closed and the entrance is actually at The Bar Shoppe. Security was extremely rude when we asked if it was actually Trinity. They gave us a wristband for 21+. They also force you to coat check any jackets. The first room we entered had an Asian theme. Not really sure as to why there is an Asian theme when nothing else caters towards this theme. It's mainly the bar and a few tables around. They do not serve mojitos or midori sour drinks. They have like three bars inside though so how could you not have basic drinks? There were only two bartenders. They didnt open the actual dance rooms until 10 pm, so everyone was crowded in the small Asian bar room. Pretty sure no one knew about this as everyone kept pushing each other. When they finally let everyone in, a man sat in between the entrances of the dance rooms and asian bar checking IDs. What was the point in checking IDs outside and giving wristbands when you're just going to check again inside? Also, to go back and forth, they must check your ID each time. This causes a backup on both sides of the venue and no one Saturday night at 10:30pm and the back room was completely empty. The front room had a bar upstairs, but the dance floor was smaller. While there were people dancing, the music was not good. It was difficult to dance. To leave, we had to go back into the Asian bar (and get our IDs checked again). We spent less than an hour there because we were just so over it. read more

We bought redbulls downstairs and they didn't let us bring the redbulls we bought AT THE VENUE to the bar upstairs. The cover was also $5 each, and they didn't inform us of the $2 card fee until after they had already swiped my card. I wouldn't even go here if someone paid me to. read more
