Acoustics are terrible. Building reverberates so much to the bass that you get to enjoy hearing a buzz/rattle from the building the whole time. Q Nightclub is a pretty typical nightclub that features floor to ceiling bathrooms split into two sides (urinals, regular toilets), an upstairs section for what I assume is VIP, a downstairs VIP section, a few tables with barstools to sit at and a decent sized dance area. Something neat I noticed is a giant projector that had rules/guidelines for patrons, and one of them said that if anyone is bothering you to tell one of the guards. There is also someone stationed at the bathrooms directing traffic and making sure the hallways stay clear. I only came here for a special event and I am typically not interested in going to clubs, but it was a fairly good experience aside from the issue with the bartender. I had a great time on the dance floor and most people were friendly. I would rate it a 4/5 if not for her. (Price Range): $50+ (Music): Not bad. The music was in the EDM-Electronic realm, featuring remixes of classic songs. I can't say if this was the regular music because I only came here for an event, so they could've been catering to that specific crowd. (Location): The location seemed decent. There is a parking lot very close to the establishment, but I didn't pay so I don't know if the prices are reasonable. (Drinks): The drink I was given was not good and seemed more ice than anything. However, my friend chose the drink, so it could've just been a drink choice that didn't mesh well with me. (Service): Security was fine, no issues with them. The older female bartender (late 30s to 40s) with straight blondish hair was awful. My friend ordered our drinks and I paid for them. When I got the bill I was surprised because I was charged $20+ for each drink. I do not regularly go out, but I had just gone to another club the night before and the drinks were nowhere near that, so of course I was surprised. These were literally THE most expensive drinks I've ever had in my life, and the fact that dozens of reviews say the same thing should say something. If the value were there it would be worth it, but it isn't. As I'm showing my friend the receipt in a "girl, do you see this?" fashion the bartender starts getting nasty, thrashing her hands in our direction and telling a male patron that "she doesn't know what that is and that she doesn't speak that language". I never spoke to her, nor did we even make eye contact, I was speaking to my friend. So there was no need for her to act like that or even look my way. Furthermore, she became more irate at the tip I left her, which I left because of her poor attitude and the clear price gouging for the drinks. Most would've left her $0. I wasn't given a receipt which was odd, but now I know why. My card was charged for more than what I left her. So I suggest paying cash or to use a card designed only for going out if you do so. read more

If you're managing an artist and considering booking this venue - don't. This venue is HORRIBLY operated and not fit to host any respectable artist. The sound system is genuinely not equipped for the artists that come through here. Lighting is horrible. It seems like many decent artists book this venue ONCE and one time only, just for a poor crowd turnout (because everyone in Seattle knows the reputation of this club). Coming from Hawaii, my review on night club maybe bias to those who experience night clubs on the mainland. In Hawaii we only have one nightclub and its a very small one. So coming to Q Nighclub to celebrate my bachelor's party was a very fun one. First off, we ordered tickets online for $10 for Hip Hop & R&B event that was going on that night we went (Saturday Night). The staff and security were friendly when were were checking in and getting us patted down. When we walked in I was amazed by how big the club was. I like that they had a huge bar and it was separate from the dancefloor, with this there wasn't as much crowding at the bar. The dancefloor itself was big enough for a lot of people and we were able to dance comfortably without being cramped. We also had so much fun here hyping up other people and creating dance circles. It was all good vibes and no drama. The bartenders and bar was great. There were about 3 bartenders and they were working fast and hard. We never waited long to order or for our drinks to be made. The bartenders were really heavy handed/generous with the alcohol, so you know you are getting your money's worth and not those watered down drinks. So a couple drinks got us to the right level. The bathrooms were kind of confusing. It was gender neutral but there were urinals separated for the men, but this worked well as there was barely a line for the restrooms. Overall it was a great experience here. It is also located in downtown Seattle and across a gas station and near an iHop for that late night snack. We did get some hotdogs after the club closed across the street. Good vibes! read more

Decided to check this place out with a group of friends because we had never been before, First off it was absolutely dead inside when we walked in, there was maybe 10 people on the dance floor. The Dj wasn't really playing anything good. To make matters even worse tell me why i'm paying 30 dollars for a drink that isn't cold and in plastic cups and are a quarter of the way filled? On top of that they apparently have a security guard whose whole job is to be a vape hall monitor. If any device is taken you have to pay 3 dollars to the person at the counter (who was actually very nice) Also the bathroom situation is very weird they don't have designated ones for males and females it's just open and watched over by a male security guard and you can't have a friend go into a stall with you. All in all was it worth the 60 dollars hell no, just go to X or still liquor at least they're making the money im spending worth it. Only Positives of the night is the big mirror and lights for photos, the security guards at the door who were super sweet and gave us water, and the guy working the counter who said it's ridiculous that security just walks the floor just to take peoples vapes. read more

I wish I could leave no stars but it wouldn't let me. This is one of the worst run establishments I have been to. The security kicked us out because they did not see my friend wash his hands. It's pretty ironic coming from one of the trashiest clubs in this dirty city. Three "security" guards walked us out as if we were criminals to the front without telling us why. Then asked us to drink a small thing of water to go back in. Still don't understand why, he said the camera was watching him talk to us. Not a chance in hell we would go back ever. All my friends left there and will tell every one we can about it all. I hope other people read this and don't waste their time and money like we did on such a subpar dump. I am not a frequent club goer and I felt even more out of place going on a Thursday night (but I wanted to see Jason Ross lol). The venue and establishment was okay. I didn't expect much given it is a club. We got here somewhere between 10PM-10:30PM and the line went by quickly. I was surprise to see that the men's restroom had a line like literally almost the whole night. I wasn't surprise seeing the women's restroom had a line, that seems pretty typical for any club or music event/festival. My only complaint/concern is that I wish people were a bit more polite. I know clubs are always going to be crowded and you'll always be surrounded by people dancing, standing, and walking by, but the least you can do is say "excuse me" or "sorry" when you're trying to get walk by people, especially if you're holding drinks. read more

$25 dollar cover charge. If you pay at website and beforehand you can pay $15. There are two waiting areas, one outside and one indoors (to pay cover). There's an ATM machine where you can pay cover. There is an large area to buy drinks. There are small tables surrounding it to lounge in. There is an VIP section on the second floor. There are three bathroom stalls and three urinals expect waiting in line to go to the bathrooms. There is also someone helping out giving out paper towels. Feel free to tip! The main dance floor is about 1000 square feet. There was definitely a lot of people and a lot of people dropping drinks. The dance floor was wet through out so be careful! It's a very diverse place and age group would be around 25 years of age. I ended up getting the Long Island $16 and trash can $20. The trash can tasted horrible hence the name. But it can get you really buzzed. The DJ was alright, a lot of snippets to wide range of musics from 90s to mostly current. Overall grade 7/10 due to high security (feeling safe) and how many people came. Can work on mopping the floor and price for cover and drinks. read more

I came here on a Friday to see Laidback Luke 02/08/2025 with my friends because I love house music but I had a terrible experience. Security kicked out my 2 female friends when I because I came to check on them because a lady said I was stumbling. They let my friends back in after 10 minutes but would not let me in because I "too intoxicated" but the real reason was because talking back and asking why we got kicked out. The manager and security was on a power trip and wouldn't let me back in but let my friends back in, telling me I was too drunk. I didn't drink that much and was not nearly as intoxicated as they were saying. If I was too drunk to enter as they claim, how could I still vividly recall everything that happened? I texted my boyfriend and other male friend to come out and help me reason with them and they came to check on me but the manager and security wouldn't let them back in since they exited, even though we had stamps on our arms that showed that we payed. They kept saying that they were told they could not re-enter even though nothing was said to them. If there's no re-entry, what's the point of the stamps? I asked to talk to the manager and his first words to me were "what do you want?" After some time trying to reason with the manager and bouncers, they were tire of it and told my boyfriend that we could enter again but when I tried to enter, they barricaded me and told me no in a extremely aggressive manner. Mind you, I am a small Asian girl who is 5'1. Most clubs have re-entry. The alcohol here was also expensive, $15 for a single well shot. Coat check was $6 and I tipped $2. I am a bartender and server, I work in the service industry so I'm not one to treat workers rude. I would not come here again, and it's also known to be a club where the girls get roofied often. I'd much rather go to monkey loft and showbox for a show or anywhere else where your money is far more appreciated, the show was supposed to end at 2 but it ended early for me at 12:30 because I was speaking up for myself. It was horrible and they were very rude and disrespectful to me, it's a shame that laidback Luke was performing at this venue. Was visiting New York and went to see a DJ on thanksgiving eve. I come to New York a lot and have patron multiple clubs and bars, For NYC this place is very young, average age 21-23. We arrived at 11:30 PM, the place was empty, we noticed many security guys standing around which initially without it was overkill,. Later it became apparent why there's so much security. Young people that can't handle their liquor falling around being escorted out and multiple bar fights. In particular there was 2 guys picking fights with everybody. They were kicked out multiple times and five minutes later they would show back up. We had been watching them and saw them do that with three other guys. For example, one of the guys started groping a woman in front of her husband, the other one, grabbed a girl forcefully, pushed her against the wall, started kissing and grabbing her as she was pushing him away. 5 min later the first guy literally out of the blue came to punch my boyfriend on the face. He just grabbed his arm and At that point we had to leave as it became apparent those guys were either the drug dealer of the night, friends with the owner or security or were paying off security to let them back in. Worse stuff always police was also outside the whole time and you didn't do a thing I thought about going to them to report the sexual assault we had witnessed, but it sounds like those guys were above the law so we didn't bother. read more

I have a hard time rating places like this because I do not frequent them. I came here for a DJ event. My friends and I purchased tickets ahead of time. The tickets themselves were on the pricier side of events. (I've seen huge headliners for cheaper at giant arenas). Mostly it was the service fee for the tickets that was astronomical. 25% on top of tickets is not appropriate. Anyway, my friends and I arrived late and there was no one waiting in any lines, so we walked up and they asked if we were VIP I said no and they made us walk all the way through these makeshift lines so we would be on the right side of the bouncer instead of the left - when no one was there and they all lead to the same door... it was comical. Anyway we continue inside. I went upstairs to check it out and thought there was more room so I went down to get my friends and that's when I was informed it was VIP only upstairs. No signs were posted so that was confusing. It was very full. People were being over-served and throwing their drinks around. I asked if they had any sparkling wine and the bartender let me know that they have basically garbage sparkling wine or like $250 bottles of champagne. So basically a terrible selection for people that don't drink liquor and also don't want a coors light or garbage seltzer can. The headliner was actually a great show. The setup for the stage isn't ideal, it's tapered into a skinny section when there is plenty of space in the club to have a better setup. The bartenders and clean up crew really struggle to get in and take care of glasses. People were just throwing glasses on the ground. I almost paid for the VIP table and I'm so glad I didn't. During the set, people were just going into the tables and seats anyway regardless if they were supposed to be there. Definitely not a place I would return unless it was to see someone that I really love. I had to bleach my shoes the next day and I'm hoping I can get my dress clean. Oh and the women's restroom line was one of the longest I had seen. I didn't have to use it since I wasn't drinking, but it would've been a nightmare if I did. I can only imagine what the actual restrooms looked like. Speaking of not drinking, once we were in a spot to be able to see the headliner it was difficult to even move out if I wanted to buy a drink. There was no waitstaff so ordering a drink would've been impossible. Maybe they just can't handle an artist like that? Although he isn't THAT big. All in all this was an unimpressive venue, but the headliner was great. read more

Absolute trash venue. Booked a table for my friends birthday, we ordered a bottle of vodka and tequila, and was specifically quoted $400 each by our waitress. She is very fun and flirty and comes over multiple times and gives us great service. She tells us that we are running low on bottles and should order another one. Its around one and we ask her if there is enough time to drink it because clubs close at two. She tells us that we have plenty of time, grabs the bottle, pours a round of drinks and then immediately tells us right after that we only have 20 minutes to drink them. At this point security is hounding us pressuring us to drink all of the alcohol in 20 minutes. This is such a liability, you are over serving a large group of guests and then sending them out into the world. If anything happened to any of those people you would be responsible. Then we get the check, and the bottle of tequila that I specifically asked the price for has magically jumped from $400 to $700!!!!! When I ask about this, then I am told that they already charged the card and they cannot give a refund for the bottle. Our waitress is nowhere to be found at this point as well, she just disappeared. Disappointing. I decided to finally try Q on the Saturday before Halloween. Not much of a party. It was literally like normal Saturday night just with costumes and one stripper with skull face make up. No special lighting, pumpkins, cobwebs, latest dance version of MJ's Thriller. The atmosphere while slick is also empty and dull. As for the music, is just was droning electronic beat that offered no bounce of melody let alone lyrics to dance to. The greatest offense is that this place doesn't seem to be a place just to unwind, relax in, dance and have fun. The cuff might be a tacky pit, but the folks there keep it fun. PS-after giving up Q every lighting up, went to Purr. Just I walked in, Thriller came on and there was excitement in the crowd. More fun in 5 minutes there than in 2 hours of Q. read more

They refused to give me refund. They was not listing non-refundable policy anywhere when I paid. I spoke to the manager. He had very bad attitude. Nice venue! Really liked how they had edison bulbs lining the bar area, theres tons of touches like that going on. OH let me tell you, the bathroom is staffed with people who hand you a paper towel and dispense soap into your hands for you..........ya u read that right Really liked the interior and look of the club but the dj was shit when I went lol. And people pay 15$ to get in (girls arent free) (maybe im just ugly) and I think if you pay that price the music should be much, much better.
