The entire staff are Amazing! When I say amazing, I mean it! I have a terrible fear of dentist so I was so diappointed that I had to go in as I had the begining stages of an absest tooth. I knew that if I waited it would get much worst, never think that it's going to heal by itself because the pain will get worse and the expenses are just as painful. When I went in my anxiety was at it's peak, but it didn't take long to feel at ease. I received a sincere welcome by two sweet girls at the front desk. As I filled out the paperwork my anxiety began to creep back in, but then a sweet assistant Casey called me back and gave me a tour of this incredible business. They offer so much more than dental care (who knew). They have a beautiful relaxed environment which includes a day spa, really? Oh my gosh! The entire setting was so clean and peaceful. It's now time to get in the chair Come to find out my tooth with an old mercury filling was cracked so it had to go. Knowing what was coming next my level of anxiety was surprisingly low. I was so relaxed by the staff and setting. The numbing process was a breeze, the extraction was pretty quick and I didn't taste a drop of blood, thank you Casey! I had my followup visit and got great news, it's healing well. I was given easy to follow post-op instructions and some supplies to help the healing process. Continued awesomeness! Five Forks Dental continues thier stellar service! I've now had more than a couple of visits to Dr. Hapney at Five Forks Dental Care, and let me just say... I'm still very pleased. If you're wondering why I've had to go a few times, it's due to the prior "dental professionals" that I've dealt with. Dr. Hapney is correcting some of their "work," to put it nicely. She shows me why particular procedures are necessary, and explains them to me. She doesn't just tell me and then do it. I'm very interactive in my treatment, which I appreciate. And even though I know she's very busy, she takes an extra moment when I have a question so that she can thoroughly answer it, and addresses any of my concerns. I truly appreciate her patience and kindness. I wasn't sure that places (or people, for that matter) like this existed anymore, but I suppose this is my dental unicorn! My last interaction was not great. I was recommended for a crown. My temporary crown was problematic (had to be adjusted multiple times which meant I had to take off work and make additional unexpected trips), my permanent crown did not fit the first TWO times. The THIRD and final time the crown finally fit. However, it's now two weeks later and my tooth is still highly sensitive to cold and hot food/drink. In addition, a rash appeared on my tongue in reaction to their tools used. I was prescribed a mouth wash that I had to pay for out of pocket after all of the inconveniences they caused. I was given no explanation for why the spot occurred and no sound explanation for why the crown wasn't done correctly the first two times. These events spanned over at least a month. That's unacceptable. The two stars are only because the staff was nice but honestly on a professional level what I had to go through was not ok. Will not be returning. read more

I generally do not post many reviews but for anything; however, this is one of those exceptions. For starters we have been searching for a dentist for quite a long time since my retirement from active duty military (U.S. Air Force); I randomly selected Five Forks with reservations towards a civilian dentist due to a bad experience in the past. I've been in need of several overdue procedures that were "jacked up" by an unnamed tooth doctor. Dr. Hapney and her staff are "1st class", especially Alexa who has been my go to tech. Her compassion, professionalism, and subject matter expertise are above reproach. She answers any concerns I may have and makes me feel at ease while I'm in the chair. I've seen there reviews at everywhere is so good but I quickly learned why it is. They ask you to leave review even before you have been seen by doctors. I went there for gumming problem and they took the x-ray for all of the teeth, and they did assumably deep cleaning but when it was finished, when looked the mirror, almost nothing had changed. Then, I went another doctor office..they called the five forks dental to get the x-rays, but received a response only there was one x-ray for one tooth. The Five Forks Dental lied..then, the new dental place checked and see they had not cleaned well and needed another deep cleaning... read more

The staff and Dr. Kristina Hapney are amazing! I gladly make the 45 minute trip from where I live to come here. The staff is wonderful and the service is above and beyond. Being a survivor of domestic violence I was sent to her by Give Back a Smile. Dr. Kristina Hapney decided to take care of my whole mouth for me, not just the one to that i was sent here for. I only had half of my one front tooth so this is life-changing. Since May I have had a whole smile again. It has made a forever difference in & for my life. This was such a wonderful experience. After filling out the necessary paperwork I was taken on a tour of the place. It's beautiful but also very clean and attentive to every detail. My hygienist gave me her complete attention and geared everything toward my needs. During the exam and cleaning I was given a complimentary parafin hand wax. What a nice treat. I could go on and on. I have been seeing Dr. Hapney for several years. I hadn't been to a dentist for several years before seeing her. She immediately put me at ease. The atmosphere there is relaxing. Everyone there is easygoing, but professional. I really appreciate that all options are discussed and estimates and given before all work is done. Got two teeth filled and another tooth had a crown done. All was done in one visit.I have horrible anxiety with dental visits and always experience some pain usually.
